Fifa is taking up no space as it isnt stored on the data partition, maybe the .dex is taking up a few kb in the DC but thats about it.

Your phones memory is split into several partitions.
ROM - this is Read Only Memory. Unless you root. But this memory has no impact what so ever on your data partition.
Data Partition - this is where you save all apps, data, game etc. This is the only part you can edit by default.
Then there's the boot partition and other bits I don't really know about.
It's taking up 3.6mb of space on the ROM. You save things to the Data Partition and cannot access the ROM unless you root, therefore FIFA is not taking up and space that you can actually access.

Can you give more detail of why you have this need and what findings brought this up to you?

I believe the diskcacheindex files can just be erased. Do you have journaling on by any chance?

Anything cache-related is used to avoid buffering during real-time program execution. I know, a bunch of gibberish. But a great example is Gallery. By building a cache of the pictures, it can provide more instant thumbnails, rather than re-scanning and generating them each time the app is launched.
The simple answer is that virtually anything on the SD card can be manually deleted with any file explorer or through your computer. Cache files can manually be cleared for any app. But note, cache files will simply re-build each time apps are run.
If there's more you're asking about, feel free to elaborate.
Try sd maid. Its free in the market

Any help here would be appreciated. This happened twice with google maps and once with facebook. Instead of integrating, apps are being removed from phone.
I am on stangs rom the latest official deodexed gingerbread rom...never had this problem before.
Are you restoring data+apps? And if so what Rom did u back them up with?
Sent from my ADR6300 using xda premium
Nah. When I install a new rom (like this one for instance) I only restore user apps and data. I leave all the internal apps alone.
Soo after getting updates for internal apps (like Gmail/Maps/Facebook) I use the intergrate button and then **poof** the apps are removed. Icon still shows up under system/apps in Root Explorer but the app and icon don't show up anymore on phone.
So what do you guys recommend? Should I just do this manually in Root Explorer? How can I integrate on my own to save some space?
Just wanted to bump. I know I can do this the reverse way while rooted. I guess by removing the app and reinstalling again but anyone else have any ideas?
Still getting this problem.
How much free space is is /system? TB may fail on moving if there is not enough space free.

Hmmm I bet you are on to something. Only about 3-4 mb free. Even though I can free up about another 40 mb by deleting an app.disabled folder I created. Thanks man I bet this is why.
What does the following error in link2SD mean?
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
I have enough space on my partition so I don't understand the problem
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
not sure but i am having problems also with 64gb sd so i would probably think it's the same with too big partition, it's advised to be less than 1GB
hopefully it sorts out the problem after testing
Sorry this maybe off topic but undisputed guy what rom you using? And how did you remove am/pm from status bar
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
I'm using Gin2JB. I think AM/PM goes once you change it to 24 hour time format

The strange thing is that I had it working fine but then I wiped my partition (not before moving the apps2SD) because it was full and now it doesn't work

How I that that rom for gaming against nxt le because I use nxt le with a visualization mod wich makes it look alot better is gin2jb just gb themed to look nicer?
And haha how stupid of me not to realise that lol thanks mate
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
Gin2JB is just gingerbread themed to look like Jellybean. It works well and gaming is smooth although I do experience bad lag on some games such as the amazing Spider-Man. Not sure how it compares to NXT as I've not used it.
Regarding link2SD, I got everything linked eventually by persisting but then saw that my 1.5GB partition was somehow full which I didn't understand. I don't get how apps could take up over 1.5GB so I decided to move everything back onto the SD card and try linking them again. Don't really know what I was thinking. This led to the phone displaying and having less than 1mb internal storage which meant I could barely do anything. I moved 2apps to the SD card from settings to free up some memory but I don't know why it did that as I already moved them to SD using link2SD.
Anyways, my problem currently is why my whole 1.5GB is being filled up? Why is it taking that much storage?

Less than 1GB partion? Oh Dear.. My partion's 2.5GB and its fine. Im running a 32gb SD though and my phone decided to move all of my apps back to internal storage.. Sigh. And I dont think its booting up anymore. >.<

I had a 2GB partition on my 32GB SD but this 64GB card is causing problems without a partition.
Is it normal for a 1.5GB partition to be filled up using only link2sd?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
Well, My partitions 2.5GB with only 0.9GB space left. So I think ive used 1.6GB alone. >.< I only have 404 apps altogether according to Link2SD (Including System Crap)
Thanks for the reply. Looks like i need to make my partition bigger then.
On a slightly related note, why isn't TB restoring my missing apps with data? It either fails or says the batch restore is finished yet i have nothing. I just need tetris and bruce lee as they can't be had from the play store

I am having trouble downloading apps and I keep getting "insufficient storage" but my system storage is 87% full with 500mb left and SD 96% with 450mb left. What are some options I could uss to get more room.

This may not be it but if you use lucky patcher then that could be the prob.
Open lucky patcher and try installing app again.

Ok your issue may be non root related.figured id try to help, sorry man.

You've probably already done this but:
Check for pictures, downloads, music, etc on the phone storage. If you have the stupid Need for Speed game that came with the phone go into app manager delete the data and freeze the app. It's friggan huge at a 1.75gbs... And it's not even the full game. Lastly if you're rooted try to search the method that people are using to do the app to SD trick.
It's sucks cause all my downloads from chrome go to phone storage. It's a pain in the butt because you can't change the setting.
Hopefully something helps.

In theory yes but unless u know what ur doing it'll never happen, as its more than just moving files around, u need to know how to decompile and recompile because the data ur looking for can't just be moved around
