Hey fellow nerds:
Does anyone have any photos of dhd broken sim card/battery covers. I need them for obvious reasons. I would really appreciate anyone's help.
Thanks.

What obvious reasons?
Well.. I accidentally broke mine. I then stupidly threw them away not knowing that in order for htc to replace them I need to provide photos of the broken ones. Therefore, I looked to this forum to help me out.

Open a terminal app and type the following command all on the same line.
cat /sys/class/power_supply/battery/batt_attr_text

Nor removable battery slot...
Samsung nexus products = Apple...
People say sd slots and removable batteries are old news, but that's why people moved to Android to begin with...

It has no removable battery??

Last I heard its removable....hence why they sell extended batteries for it. It's the Razor that has a non removable battery.

This makes me so mad I could spit,
*shaking fist*
I'll be damned if they go to industry wide standards with no removeable sd or battery. Damned to a life without freedom, a life without choices, a miserable life indeed.
*fist still shaking violently*
Edit:
Just saw this...

...good.
The rezound looks like a much better phone than the nexus to me, really don't see what the fuss is about.
First time messing with the Nexus at my store today. I have to say the phone is very impressive on all fronts. Size, weight, screen, camera all very nice.

They did? I'd bet most people have androids because they can't afford/get an iPhone. In the year and a half I owned 2 different model iPhone's I never once had a situation where the battery would have needed to be pulled, if ICS "just works" like iOS than it shouldn't need a battery either. I imagine the # of people who need to go over 32 gigs of memory is quite low too.
Well its been a month and I don't think rezound has root yet

I doubt its a matter of affordability....they cost the same on contract.
And IF iOS was as customizable as Android(Roms and kernels) I'm sure you'd want a removable battery too. Don't even mention jailbreak because compared to rooting its a joke.

You'd be surprised how much memory you need with a stock nandroid, cyanogen, ICS, sense 3.5, 2500 songs, pictures, and over 200 apps

Exactly...and the nexus is $100...I say again...$100 more expensive the the iPhone 4...so yes..people get android cause its cheaper..

I didn't think I would, but I maxed out my 32GB card real fast.
And being able to pull mt battery is nice, but being able to replace it is better. It's all about who has control over the little things like that to me.

It looks to me like the iPhone 32GB is $299, as is the Gnexus which comes with 32GB internal. What does the Gnex come with for external SD?
EDIT: VZ says no removable storage for the GNex

No kidding.
I filled up a 8gb class 6, a 32gb class 10, and I'm working on another 32gb class 10, of just music and movies. It's crazy.

No. But it has 32 GB of internal storage so it tends to be plenty.

Yes you could. I purchased the full version for use with my s3 and s4 and it works a treat. However, is it really necessary with 32gb?
Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2
You probably can by rooting but seeing how I don't have the phone and was just doing some research on it and my friend is looking at getting the phone and he isn't big into the whole rooting thing but thanksfor your guys help
