Yea please tell which apk you pushed from which from also if anyone finds a also dialer and contacts that would be awesome. Does the Mms.apk you got show swipe notifications on the lockscreen?

I pushed the mms apk from Dan Brutals rom, malice. It worked great. The only issue I had is when sending a picture message it always rotated the picture to the left. Something simple, but it annoyed me.

I actually like the TW mms, but I'm sure someone can get the aosp to work on our phone.

im on an odexed rom so i cant try right now. ill post it and you can put it /system/app and see if it works. dont forget to set permissions.

That is deodexed. You need to use root explorer to put it in system/app then set permissions. There's 9 check boxes when you choose fix permissions. The 3 on the left and the top middle one need to be checked. Then reboot

I think so....I've gotten some from different places but I believe I got this one there.....sorry.
The one I use was from the Nexus S 4g forum, there are a couple different versions of it.
I don't like the att stock mms. Woukd like aosp ics mms apk. Will continue searchig. Tge galaxy nexus forum has a few but they are modified .

To change mms apk you have to push contacts and phone apk from asop or it will not work.......

Thats a negative, pushed all 3, fixed permissions, no go.
How about the MMS in that thread? NVM its not AOSP but default SG2

I would love to figure out how to get phone settings and mms from ravers rom working.. all the other aosp apps work but I've tried phone and settings along with supporting apks like telephony provider or settings provider but its a nogo.
Any ideas?

That's bullcrap. CM mms.apk is AOSP mms.apk. I posted it in another thread asking for this. It SHOULD work on ICS. Haven't tried though. Search before you post.

Supposedly has adds from review. just force closes when i try to select a thread. also doesnt import contact pictures. #notworking
I modified the phone.apk for AOKP rom to allow both a lower dpi and removal of the Phantom VM icon. I tested the lower DPI and confirmed it works but I don't have the Phantom VM, so I can't test it. This may work on other AOSP roms but I am not sure. If you have Phantom VM, please report back if it fixes. Thank you.

Trying to get the s4 keyboard installed but can't. Running Jellyverse 3.0. Flashed the zip but phone keeps freezing and get samsung keyboard has stopped. Any help will be appreciated

That's weird seeing as the only thing in the zip is the keyboard.... Do you have a symlink to the Samsung keyboard in preload/symlink/system/app? If so, delete it... if not check in the ROM zip and extract it and put it in the above mentioned spot and change permissions to 0644. I'm just shooting in the dark, just something you can try. Let us know if it works.

Ok, so take the apk from the zip and place it there and system/app, set permissions to 0644 for both. If that doesn't work idk. Oh and from your screenshot, it would be above those, SamsungIME comes before SecBrowser in alphabetical order

Ok so placed them and set permission and still get the Samsung keyboard has stopped. Then reflash ed the zip checked both places it's there permission set to 0644. Still get the error.

It's not possible unless someone would theme it like that. I have tried to theme the launcher more accurately but I had no luck getting the different png files to show for the indicators.
