Will there ever be any other themes for the starburst rom?
I was just thinking the same thing!
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
What are you guys looking for, particularly? I've got 3 themes compatible with Starburst.
ObsidianRed, ICS Theme, and Ciano Theme.
And ive used all 3 of your themes. You do GREAT work especially on your ICS theme...just remember with the evo there were ALOT more choices for themes. Any chance you are working on a honeycomb theme or are all the developers over honeycomb?? TIA Overstew!

If this can be ported ( Put into a theme ) not the Rom, would be great!

I don't know of I was really looking for anything in particular just wondering if there would be any other themes.

you have the options on where to post it IE this forum, tapa hosted etc? If you get those options you either have to do tapa hosted or use a link from like flickr etc to get images to display. Or you could upload from computer.

So the rom/theme I'm using uses green for a highlight/select color, but I like the blue (or possibly purple or something for some). I was wondering what elements where would need to be edited?
It's not the only thing I'd want to edit, so really the starting point should be sufficient.

You need to read the how to theme threads. Your awnsers are in there. The green highlights arte either controlled by images or xml code. Everything is found in the framework-res.apk that would need to be changed. In order to edit an xml file you need to de compile the apk. Images can just be dragged and dropped using 7zip our winrar

The theming how to has been really great so far, there is a section of the How To that lists all the tools you will need her. I am working on switching my color from blue to red! I am playing with shades of red and trying to figure out a way to change the highlighting shape on the keypad.. want to change it from a square / rectangle to a star.

Hey, after TW 4.0 is really working for our device, I was wondering if it was possible someone could work on a theme port like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1058221
It would go great with the new EE03 ROMs since it is Gingerbread and it just looks amazing!
(Although, please, don't change the notification bar like they did! I hate battery % mods, lol)
Oh, and also can someone include the green CRT overscroll animation and some of the other green parts (like the text and copy and paste icons)

To each in own but i like the % battery it shows the regular bar as well as the % so i you cant really complain there but if its going to be such a hassle why not make 2 diff. versions if alot of people request that. i doubt it though.
Also this theme is pretty stock and just like the stock Gingerbread theme so i hardly doubt that this is going to be ported.

Well, the battery % thing is just a me thing. I don't really care if it's there; it just makes me more obsessed with battery life.
Second, the icons are pretty different and would be an interesting addition combined with the new TW 4.0.
I know it doesn't have major theme changes, but it's sleek and feels more up-to-date with the GS II in my opinion.
Great idea that new touchwiz look is sexy
I like that. Looks awesome.

Do you or anyone have a list of TW only apps? I have restored a lot of other system apps like Sprint Live Football and Nascar with no problem. That and the tiny freakin icons in the notification bar are the only things keeping me from running it more than a few hours, oh and the lower volume too.

Not really but as for the notifications flash a theme some have larger icons. Also go in the sound and turn the media volume up all the way the system sounds follow the media volume...?... just look for some themes the good ones cost but there's few free ones that are cool I use the crystal cm7 theme by darkdog. Has a lot of cool icons and the themed xda is awesome. Just stay on cm7 you'll get used to it it grows one you trust me...

i used to use simple notepad cause it would export to sd as a .txt file.. then i realized i kept losing notes (Hi my name is Pvt.Joker, and I'm a Flashaholic!) so i went for the auto sync'd albeit slower route of using google docs to write my notes.. just a thought..
I love all the ICS themes out, along with the minimal black and white, but I was really hoping for a combination of the two. I was thinking of an ICS theme, but without the ICS blue integrated into it and instead keeping text, notification bar, etc all white. Any other interest in this? I've never themed before and while I would like to learn, I don't exactly have a bunch of spare time to work on it. Just curious if anyone would be interested in taking on this task.
I'd like to see this done

I must say that banks has pretty much already did this and it rocks.
I assume you're talking about his minimal black and white theme...it is awesome, but what I was proposing is a more stock ICS feel (dialer, notification bar, stock ICS icons) but with the minimal black and white color scheme. I might have to try to find some time to learn to theme.

The only problem with Black and White themes is that some icons will be black/white and others (from the market) will be colored and it creates an obsolete theme. That's the reason I haven't made a Black/White theme myself.

Yeah, especially gapps. Its something you would constantly stay on top of but even hitting the dialer, contacts, messaging and status bar icons is enough. People like B-Boy, Decalex, Rujelus handle the GMail, Dropbox, Google+, etc inverted apps

Ive been looking for a Fallout pip-boy 3000 style theme for a while now. Its basically why I created this account. I was thinking vault boy app logos in a pip-boy style menu bar or something. There is one for jail broken iPhones but i have found nothing for rooted androids yet. Ill gladly pay 15 dollars if someone can develop a solid theme.
Unfortunately I dont have enough posts to post outside links yet, but if you google "fallout 3 iPhone theme" You can find pictures.
