[Q] Need help with unrooting!

Hey guys,
I've rooted my phone about a week ago , but i'd like to unroot it for warranty , i'm on the 1.34PC10IMG.zip stock , do you guys any simple ways to unroot my phone completely?
Hopefully someone can help me further

i rooted with rage/g-free method , it's a Desire Z
should i run the 1.72 system update ? it's 1.34 atm , will it unroot me ?

but that's G2 guide , i already used a other g2 unroot guide on my phone once and it screwd everything up , this is my friends desire Z which im trying to unroot , someone knows a trustable HTC desire Z unroot guide??? no G2 please
or will my phone get unrooted when updating to 1.72?

the guide you're talking about is the one who messed up my own phone... , because i received G2 rom , instead of sense , plus the comments are very negative

Some advise on Dhd running 2.3.3 . .

Hi Fellow Xda-ers,
I am new here and have been browsing thr forums for a few weeks, and its this place that made me get the dhd.
Any who i got the handset two days ago, Its on contract, Locked to Orange Uk, Running Android 2.3.3 with a software number of: 2.37.61.11.
Now i have been looking around the forums and scratching my head for ages trying to find out if i am able to:
1.) Root
2.) DownGrade
3.) Flash custom roms.
Any advise is appreciated,

I'm sorry pal, build 2.37 can't downgrade yet, so you can't root. Our fellow modders are working on a workaround with no success yet.

Yes. If you are married or have a partner spend the time with them now because when they work out the fix for 2.37 you will only have eyes for your DHD

Well i have managed to get a new handset replaced tomorrow morning, i claimed it kept crashing . . . :0)
So i will have a rootable handset.

So i have my new phone:
Android 2.2.1
bb Version: 12.28g.60.140.fu_26.05.05.27_m3
Kernel: 2.6.32.21-g46445e7
Build number: 1.84.61.2 cl333804 release keys
Software number: 1.84.61.2
I have tried making a gold card and downgrading using the stickied method here and i keep getting the following error:
cid incorrect update fail
power to reboot
wtf am i doing wrong?

Hi. I ve dhd. It's s-off with build number 2.37 running gingerbread 2.3.3. So my question can I downgrade without having to temproot first cuz its s-off..

Im afraid not, if you are on contract do what i did, Call your provider tell them its stuck in a bootloop due to a failed ota rom update, and they will replace the phone for you, well maybe, Orange UK did, i called in 7.30pm and received the phone next morning.
Then that way you "may" get a phone that has not been updated, the replacement i got was on 2.1 :0)

and i use android version 4.0.4 and my phone is get too slow ,,,, and i didnt Benefit any thing from rooting my phone
still need mony when i try to dawinlod somethings from googleplay
is rooting dosent work in all country cuz am from libya ?
plz help me cuz am thinking to sell it ....

Yes you can update it...... But you will lose root.

I need to clear some thing for you, rooting does not give you access to download apps free from Google Play. So you should remember that also. I am saying this because you said so-

Oh and please don't post links to cracked apps or wares sites. Mods are very strict about this. If you are unhappy with stock ICS, just go to the development section and check out some custom ROMs. And please be patient - JB is coming in May.

For that, you have to flash a pre rooted rom using flash tool.... If you are planning on upgrading to ICS firmware, no need of flashing pre - rooted rom.. Every ICS firmware on Xperia S can be rooted easily (1 minute work).. So update you phone using PC companion or flashtool and then root it...

Root is completely different from jailbreak...
There is no jailbreak for Android...
In Android JB means 'Jelly Bean' aka android 4.1

Hi, ive used these forums for nearly half a year but have finally made an account as i need help with something that i just cant find a simple answer to online.
i have the HTC one x international running android 4.1.1.
my question, CAN IT BE ROOTED? if so, how? a link is all i need, as i have experience rooting.
i have unlocked the bootloader, but thats as far as i have got.
I hope you can get back to me on this.

Question about 4.2.2 update

Hello everyone, sorry if this has been ask before, but i really need help..i see that the update 4.2.2 has come out recently but as far as i know only in europe..so my question is, does anyone know if the update will come out soon on any part of america? Im from Venezuela and i have my HOX from movistar, and the update obviously doesn't show, not yet at least..and honestly, i dont think that update will come any time soon or ever..so i decided to update my phone like a custom rom..but the problem is that i dont know what is that CID that everyone's talking about and dont know how to know mine..if anyone can help me in any way..the only thing that i can say about my phone right know is, that the bootloader its still lock, i have no root, and offcourse no custom recovery..so, i have an stock phone, and i really want to update my phone! ..i prefer an OTA update than to flash it from recovery, but i will try everything

Firstly you need to find out if or not your device is AT&T. If so, then unlucky, because the update (as of yet) is only out for the international Tegra 3 version.
Your CID can be found by downloading a free app from the play store. Just search 'CID checker', but at the minute they are pretty much useless to pre determine any updates.
If your device is an international version, either wait with everyone else or manually flash the odexed stock 4.2.2 version onto your phone (this only works for Tegra 3).

CID (Carrier ID) is something like product code for a certain region.
To know your CID you can try this: CID Getter

Make sure that your phone is EndeavorU not Evita

No my HOX is no AT&T, and i dont thing my carrier (movistar) bought the phone from AT&T..it has to be the international versión because is a Tegra 3 ..the only thing i dont want from flashing a stock rom its Bécquer i dont want to lose my phone configurations and start all over again
Thats what i love from ota updates, you update your phone but dont lose everything and your phone stay the same but with the upgrades
