I was reinstalling some apps on my rom today and I noticed handcent has went MIA from the market, any idea why?
I pulled the AOSP standard mms app over so I'm not in need of it just wondering were it went.
Its still in the market for me.
strange I don't see it anymore besides certain extras and I'm on the 3.3 market. luckily I never uninstalled it
Yeah, camera 360 ultimate is gone too...aka the app I paid three bucks for last year. Awesome.

From what I have seen, your device isn't registering properly with the Market. Do you have your cell radio turned off?

Yep, not showing up for me either with newest Market. I don't use it, but it shows 3 language packs for it, clearing app data/cache doesn't do anything to fix. Cell radio is on.

Running Bugless Beast V. Gpa19 AOSP w/ stock kernel.
I'm using the 3.2 market but I'm pretty sure I had similar issues with 3.1.x
On top of that everytime I go to update Superuser on my Stock+ ROM I get a never ending loading screen.
Wasnt showing up for me either so I went to their site and downloaded the lastest apk and installed that way. That was a week ago and everything works fine so far. Its my default for mms and sms.

Apparently they are having an issue with their market account. They posted something about it on their twitter @handcent.

Does netflix not work on 2.3.3? Because I can't find it on the market

Nope. When I opened up the Netflix app after updating to 2.3.3 it opened up the Netflix loading screen then the screen went white. The Netflix app is not showing up in the market when I search for it. I googled it and saw that Netflix acknowledged this issue and are working on fixing it.

That's pretty sad guys since I am running Decks 2.3.4 and I have Netflix and the latest running fine. There is a thread somewhere with working Netflix. Do a little searching guys and I will try and find my apk as well

I'm just running the modified Netflix.. runs fine on 2.3.3, and even 2.2.1 (I put it on wife's fascinate)

Honestly, it all depends on what ROM you're running, not what version OS. I've been running stock Netflix from the market perfectly fine from MIUI, which has been based off of GB for about 2 or 3 months, now...
I had the same issue when updating to the latest cm7 nightly build. I had it on nightly 87 but not 88 which i am still currently on. I just found a netflix apk and downloaded it. Works fine
My Netflix has worked fine on #86 2.3.4 until last night. I guess it was pulled from the market because I can't find it nor could I play any movies. Now when I try to watch it just says some type of error.
I'm not rooted (I know, why the hell not) and before the update to 2.3.3 when I loaded up the netflix app it would show the red screen then go white shortly afterwards. I uninstalled then downloaded again but got the same results. All this before the update. Now it has been pulled from the market. (my guess is that it won't show in the market if you're on gingerbread) So could anyone post a link to a working netflix apk. If not could you send it to my email address: [email protected]

However, the reason it's down, is because they are updating it to the new phone, so just give it a few days.
I recently flashed Cognition 5 v 1, and it runs great! Very happy with battery life and performance but Gmail and youtube force close now. Does anyone know of a fix for these?

Just flashed this morning and had the same issue. I uninstalled each and then downloaded and installed them again straight from the market. No problems this time around.
Yeah, I re-flashed, tried reinstalling from the backup and the market, none of my native google apos or youtube would work. I finally fixed it by running the fix permissions utility in rom manager - worked great....

Hey all, I just updated to the latest Google Voice that came out yesterday. While I am able to get notifications of new messages, anytime I try to open the app I get an FC. I've tried reinstalling the app and clearing data/cache on it. Has anyone else experienced this and/or found a solution?

I had the FC's with bonsai aswell, switched to random rom and now is working.
Thanks for the responses! I think I'm going to try swapping to another ROM
-__- so it seems like GV isn't working properly with Bonsai because it worked fine with the cm7 beta. damn it, gonna switch back to cm7 beta 1.

I've had this issue with the Android Market 3.1.5 (and lower) - stock 2.3.4, no root.
Usually if I get a notification that I have an app update and click on it, it takes me to the my apps section however there are only the paid apps i've bought sitting there. Not the other 90 apps that I've downloaded free.
I go and clear data and that works sometimes. And other times it doesn't. I've submitted the problem to Google but I was wondering if others see this behavior and if there are any work arounds???? It's real frustrating.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the Market. Rebooted phone, pulled battery. Even done a factory reset. This happens on my E4GT and my Evo4G.

If you restored a backup chances are market links were restored and you will have to wait for an update or unstall and reinstall the app

I have the same issue, I prefer the older market version (wich does show all my apps, and shows the updates better also), but it wont allow me to keep it from updating for some reason, even if I freeze market updater.
it always upgrades to 3.15 after a few times going into market
this has been happening to me since I got the phone. I rooted and then went back to stock kernel, which kept me rooted. I restored my titanium backup apps with data and I believe that may have something to do with it.
as soon as I see that I have updates I know I will have to go to applications and clear data and reopen and it will then show me all of my apps again.
I talked with Google's Market help today. They know about this and are trying to figure it out.

So I have some weirdness happening. For example if I search titanium backup the program itself doesn't show up......only the key which in have purchased. I can't for the life of me find terminal emulator. If I open up a browser window, go to play.Google.com and search, there they are. If I download from web browser and send to phone play will fc when opened. These are 2 examples there are many others.
I have cleared data/cache for play, uninstalled updates for it. Cleared cache and dalvick and all the usual 1st steps. I haven't changed pixel density and I'm running swipers miui 2.3.2b1
I am having the exact same problem right now! I can never seem to find TB anymore, only the "key" (unless I search through google, as you mentioned). Same thing goes for "Scramble with Friends", and a couple of other apps. There's no rhyme or reason to it that I can find.
Any ideas anyone??

For the sake of trying to troubleshoot, what from are u running. I was thinking maybe it was a miui thing and was about to nand back to a sense rom to check.
I am having the same problem. I'm running the latest Mazwoz Beta 5 Ics rom. Idk what could be causing the problem.

From what I've been able to gather, these issues are specific to the new 3.5.15 version of Google Play Store. None of my paid apps show up.

I'm currently running MozWaz Beta 5.0. But I believe I had the same problem on Drew's Alpha 1 and Decks PB9.
So I reflashed the exact same rom I was running b4, let play store update automatically and now everything is fine. All apps are back. Not sure what got borked but it was worth it.
I have same issue. I'm on swiper's ics, a lot of my apps say "your device is not compatible...." or the apps are installed and running but not under my apps in the market.

Only solution I could find was reflashing. U could also try uninstalling play store with titanium and installing it again by grabbing an apk for it
