I am just curious why you want this? The reason I ask... does this remove the AIO Lockmod? I am wanting to install the Starburst ROM, but DO NOT want the lockmod installed. I browsed over the midnight rom and it says included framwork to remove lockmod should you not want it.

None.
But you can extract launcher from leaked sg3 and push it to your sg2. Not sure if the launcher supports gb but I'm on ics and I love it so far.

Go here and download the file
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1666388
Extract the files from system and lib folder and Unzip and push to system/lib and system/app and change the permission to rw-r-r (only for the apk not the lib file)
restart, now you should have the new launcher.
make sure to backup before you do anything this will save you time if something went wrong.

Just a reminder. The original stock dxlm3 ODEX file consists of .apk and .dex files. U need both of them.
AND if u do not deodex ur ROM, u won't be able to customize the theme.
My advice is:
1. deodex ur ROM 1st
2. Copy ur original deodexed systemui.apk and keep somewhere
3. apply custom theme

U can use uot kitchen to do that. Just search it on google. It provides lots of icons and all can be done by the kitchen automatically.
OR
U can use ROMtoolbox to do that.

Yes. *SOME* of the mod might work with odex ROM. FYI, not only systemui.apk needs to be backup but also framework-res.apk. These two are the main files for customizing theme. U can also backup twframework-res.apk too.

i do have a rom toolbox but it needs to download icons first, and can you teach us how to tweak safely? afraid that something might gone wrong.
Super noob question here.
When you download a ROM and open the .zip, where exactly is the systemui located? I see a system folder and META-INF folder, but don't know if there is a file called systemui. I am confused.
I am helping out a developer on a project they are working on and need to pull the systemui from a stock ROM I have. Just not sure where to find it.
Thanks in advance for anyone that can respond. Thanks.
You will find it in
/system/app/systemUI.apk

Required: Root access and deodexed ROM
How to install:
Use root explorer.
Go to Path: system/framework folder
Enable R/W Permission
Copy "android.policy.jar" in attachment and replace old one.
Restart.
Done.

Its better to build this mod off of the stock tmobile note 2 policy.jar then use one from another carrier because they are different and may slow down your phone
works on my deodexed stock rom
