Are there any aftermarket batteries higher than 1800mAh that do not need an "extended" back?
Thanks in advance.

Seido usually makes them but I haven't seen anything on their website about it. They make them for almost all of the other popular phones. Should email them and ask.
yes but its still in production i think

Just found this on amazon. No reviews but worth a look. I've used chichitec 1900 mah in the past for my sensation and they work fine if not better than stock

Hmm, 40 bucks and it comes with two 2k batteries AND a dock charger? I'll spring. I'll test with it for a week after I get it and report back.

Yes, but the 2600mAh requires a different back cover, which you cant even get a case for afaik. The 2000mAh listed above fits under the stock battery cover and will still fit in my barely there aluminum case. the only 2000mAh on I see on newegg has terrible reviews and only fits the ATT version.

Worse comes to worse, I have 2 extra stock batteries with a usb dock for 40 bucks
Know how long I could go off those 3 batteries fully charged? 4 days. Literally. I could go on a week vacation almost and not even bring a charger LOL
There is a 2200 battery from chichitec for the Epic Touch. Doesn't seem to need a different cover.

Interested on this too...... I do a lot of remote desktop for work and I do use my phone since im too lazy to carry anything for work.
Here is one, it requires a door but as fast as Seidio is making products for this phone im sure it won't be long before they come out with a suface case for it.
http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-epic-4g-touch-3200-extended-life-battery-p/bacy32ssept-bk.htm
I saw on ebay that there is a 2000mAh that uses the stock door that is supposed to be for this phone. It is one of the chichitec batteries. Anybody try this one yet? I just realized that it is the same one listed in the amazon link above. I have placed an order. I will let you know how well it fits and how long it lasts when I get it in.

Has any found a slim extended battery? Before ordering the Seido 3800mah one. Tried but couldn't find anything. Wanted to see if there is one out there that is still more mah then the stock one but same size so I don't have to suffer from adding the additional thickness. Not looking for anything close to 3800 with a slim one of course, maybe in the 2000's area or so. Thanks in advance.
mugen is doing one
i tried to find this but failed. could only find the HUGE one for the i900 or whatever.

Vzw galaxy nexus extended batt works, but your back cover will be rendered useless. Mines off, but covered by a seidio active and works pretty well.

Why bother, it's the same mAh...
So I actually checked my battery just to make sure what it was and I found out I was duped by Sprint! So I have a 1500 instead of an 1800, but the thing is I was actually getting decent battery life. How much will the extra 300 mAh make a difference?
How should I go about changing my battery to an 1800?
People who have both said they did notice a difference between the two. Not much, but noticeable.
haha, you made me double check my battery but I do have a 1800 mah. Obviously your battery will last longer with an 1800mah vs 1500mah but exactly how much, I do not know.
If it really matters too you, you should try convincing sprint to send you a 1800 battery. or you can always check amazon. 1800 E4GT batterys come out to around $25

Hey I was thinking of getting some extra batteries. Seems it is now 3 batteries + charger for 11 bucks:
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/view...cmd=VIDESC&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=42795690575
Have you, or anyone, used these? Are they official Samsung batteries as shown in the picture? If not, how is the quality? Would love to hear from some people. Sorry for slight OT...

Try calling sprint or going to a sprint store and see if they will do anything about it. There's a post somewhere in the forums and i think people had success getting a new battery from sprint.

check this out ! a lot of improve than the OEM battery
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Anker-T-m...ccessories&hash=item33732f9f1a#ht_2425wt_1396
they have the best battery..... wall charge really fast like 2.5 hours . i have been using for 2 months and no problem
anker are known to be good batteries, but you should get the galaxy nexus battery that you can pick up from the verizon store. The OEM batteries have NFC capabilities the others do not. OEM should last longer too even though the mah are different.

Yup, and $25
Been on the VZ nexus extended battery for a month - wow it is great. Much better than I expected. Took off the label paper, trimmed off the plastic end caps to the battery height (with a razor blade). Left on the NFC antenna, but can get it thinner by cutting that off. My stock cover barely bulges. It's been $35 at Amazon (Samsung 2100 mah extended with cover) or at Verizon (lucked out when it was $25)
I just ordered the anker 2050 from ebay for 9.99 shipped.
I dont use nfc and our phones lack the secure element needed for g00gle wallet. I also wanted the back cover to fit correctly without having to modify the battery, and 50mha isnt a big difference.
Hands down nexus...

The better the system the more battery it Burns, I app pose that if the processors and memory were less consumptuous then maybe we would be better off. Honestly even if you are turning off certain process patterns or psych out the brain it won't help, the won't be such a thing as a perfect phone unless you built it yourself, but unless the boards and parts are sold to secure in sockets your out of luck.

Quick question...
It hardly holds its charge and often doesn't fully charge overnight when I've woken up in the morning.

Are the ones on these accessories shops online any good?
Help, please!

You totally helped. And, yes, I was hoping to get an extended battery as well I just can't have it be thick or else it won't fit in my case. I guess anything over 1400maH is fine. I hear the batteries by "Anker" are supposed to be the best? Is that true?

Just wanted to configrm - they are awesome indeed.
I've upgraded mine to a 1650mAh Mugen Power within the last week. It's new and the discharge curve is epic, especially compared to my stock battery that stared to bulge and hold about 8hrs worth of charge. This thing easily lasts me all day, so far. It will happily extend the life of my device as I upgrade to the Nexus 4 in the spring and pass this down to my mother.

I just recently shipped the anker battery 1550 mah. From what I see the battery is better than stock battery. I'm just curious, but how much hours are you guys getting with your battery ( from full charge to 2 %)?
Sold my EVO to upgrade to the 3D, and of course the extended batteries aren't compatible with the new phone. Looking to sell these, thought I'd check on here before going to eBay or anything else.
I have two 3500mAh batteries, official Seidio brand. I also have one back cover. Only used one battery for a few months, the other one was used maybe once or twice at best. So essentially one is slightly used and the other is practically new.
Obviously selling these all at once would be ideal. But I'll sell just one battery too. I'll take PayPal and I can ship them (unless you'd want to pick up in Chicago). Let me know if you're interested!
Oh fyi the 3vo is a great phone but also a battery hog. You will want extended batteries for it. I bought one for my gf and even tweaked out I could get no more than 12 he's of normal use between charges.
