Hi.
I don't know if anybody has done it already (If someone has, I can't find it) but has anybody been able to make that bootanimation for the EVO?

I had it for awhile and thought it was pretty dumb, along with the SW LWPs. They could have done a lot better all the way around.

I did find some posts regarding this bootanimation, but they were either for the droid or for the hero. I've downloaded the one 2 posts above but I only get a black screen. Any ideas?

were you able to get the sound to work on boot up ? everything else is working great

you need to use the bootanimation.zip in the system/media/ within the .zip itself
Here is the Boot Animation and a sound I put together. I put it all in the
system/media/ using push method.
Enjoy!!!!
I will also post the apk live wallpapers and the wallpapers for the R2D2 droid also when i can pull them off my phone.

You must use a Sense-Rom on ya DZ / G2

That means, just install this apk. Dont flash or push or morph ...

how do you get the scroller to work flat rather than arched? any way i can download this? i dont need the landscape.

Firt of all, I created the EspressoBar Mod first for HTC Desire on the old Sense. Then i saw the Theme Thread for new Sense on DHD Forum. I recreated the png´s in it and added a landscape view to it. Then the Creator of the Thread wrote me to not use its themes. And i don´t wanted to start a big discussion... So I removed it to make him happy.

If you edited the image files and made a new thread the files no longer belong to him.
You cant say to chair creators that they cannot make better chairs then yours if you are the first person to make a chair.
Thats wrong the files now are your ownership and belong to you.
I would love the theme and appreciate you putting it back on since it is your free will to do so.
And not his to say it belongs to him.

Not sure if anyone's trying to get this already but I would like to have the sleep/wake animation (looks like old tv turning off) that is new in gingerbread 2.3.
I am running myn's rls4. (He has 2.3 the keyboard in his first post now btw)
I'm with you on this one. Of all the small cosmetic changes I've seen with gingerbread, the wake/sleep animation is definitely the coolest. I'm also running RLS 4.
I too am excited for just this ONE feature. lol

Reading in the forum from the hacked sdk version echo released that feature is not in it. Could be wrong though.

You are correct, I am running that version right now just playing with it. The sleep/wake animation is not there at all
I was browsing the other forums last night and found a sort of user made one, I think it was in either the N1 dev scetion or the Incredible. Not sure which one I saw it in. Yea it was in the Incredible section.

If you find it, please make one for stock with root 3.29.

Here is the animation re-made (I removed the 'HTC').
Use rootexplorer to search for 'shutdown.zip' or 'downanimation.zip'
It will most likely be located at /system/customize/resource .
Rename my upload to what you find in your rom is named and replace.

I cannot find this in myn's rom so it is probably named something different =/ SO, this is totally experimental.
Please let me know what you guys find.
I don't seem to have to folder on my cyanogen 6.1 or that file is there somewhere else it would be or named.

FYI
Even if this did work (which it won't on myn's rom as he has no shutdown animation in his build) This zip would be modding the power down animation, not the sleep/wake animation.....
But, feel free to let us know if your rom has powerdown animation and if this worked for you =)

I would give just about ANYTHING to get this working on my EVO with WarmTwoPointTwo RLS 5.
I tried the Cyanogen7 nightlies and the screen off/on animations and the black menus were the only thing I liked. There is a mod for the menus now, so I just NEED the tv on/off animations.
I am very very much interested in this.

skin you have found. So far I have only found 2 good custom themes for free.
I know the vitruous skins on the play store are the best but I don't have a credit/debit
card so I'm hoping a bunch of you guys participate in this thread

You can download from the link and unzip the .zip file to get the apk and just install
as a regular app. With the SenseCream Blue theme, you have to navigate to data/app
to find the apk file because SenseCream Blue is actually a system theme for the HTC One X.

There's actually quite a few out there, you just gotta search through other HTC devices theme and apps thread. I guess ill take some time today to find some more.

Used the theme, it didn't have the lines on rosie, however a few random menus did. I was rather content with it but the rom I used / battery consumption just wasn't really working for me. Went back to aero's CM9

most aosp themes are a bit blue overstyled for me...people who know me..know that i like a clean style (like you see in the theme from this link)

...so i take about 3 aosp themes:
1. Holo Light - Sense 4 HD Skin (Virtuous Team) paysoftware..and delete the m10 files as i dont liked the transparent widgets..now i have the original back
2. SenseCream Theme (fisha21) i take the dialer and the vr theme
3. One X AOSenseP Theme (geenyous) i take the keyboard
4. from a blue whats app theme i take the blue bubble
5. make the calculator pngs better
6. from Ordroid´s blue % battery theme i take the pngs and copy over the green from viper x
like you see in the pics...its not so overstyled and underline the google android in sense perfect...
now maybe someone can help to make a vr theme from this..or maybe as idea for themers...as info..also in aosp is not every thing blue...so i think this is a good combination...

THx..but real thx to the themers..i only changed some stuff..colors and put parts of some themes into original theme...
i have many respect of the work from the themers..in some parts its more difficult than make a rom..

Still you put time and effort into doing something that me and definitely others are interested about =)
But I'm still wondering though, what you've done.. is it for Sense 4+ or any older version of Sense?
Have to agree. Themes are what make a rom special for me. I don't need a hyper speed rom. But theming is essential.

Thats an xml in the skin apk. If you go into the assets folder and find stylesheet.xml, you need to change the values for multiply_color and overlay_color to blue.
Also, I noticed your dialer button is still green...were you happy with it like that?

yes..dialer button is green not from green sense...its because the call button is also green on a old nokia end the end button is red

I think you got my keyboard from my sense skin though, haven't touched it in my JB skin so far. If you want, I can send you the modified files only, so you can compile a JB keyboard version (no arrows anymore I think, but I am not sure, am using SwiftKey 3).
Feel free to also include my AOSP buttons, check boxes and progress bars with which you will be even closer to AOSP.
You can also try my new toggles in 1.6, but they are kinda workaround, didnt manage to get it AOSP they way htc implemented them.
