Are our batteries really different than the int'l GSII? Damn!! - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Are our Epic 4G touch batteries really different than the international GSII? I thought they weren't.
Shame, because this says these GSII batteries aren't compatible, explicitly, and I'm surprised:
http://www.amazon.com/Anker-x1900mA...urpose/dp/B0058SJ5Q4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
Maybe I'd just really love to fit 1900mAh batteries in the same space as my current 1800mAh batteries.
but

Does anyone know the answer?

I have a spare battery from my vibrant its not 100% the same its thinner and a bit longer so I'm sure it will fit its just a little different

Battery from my Captivate fits.... it's a bit tight, but I think that means the international GS2 would work.

I'm thinking this might mean 2 things:
1) this 1900mah battery could probably have some plastic filed down to fit perfectly.
2) this company could come out with a thicker battery (our dimensions) for the ET4G specifically that could do 2000mah or 2100mah
Anyone know of any slightly-extended batteries that fit under the stock battery cover?

My friend bought a battery branded for international and it's COMPLETELY different. It's long where as ours are wide. Batteries for the OG epic work though.

Best sprint extended battery?

Just got my sprint gnex today and I am wondering if anybody knows of the highest charge extended battery that doesn't involve replacing the back cover.
Also NFC support is a must.

I know you asked for extended battery but I don't know any I got this one from amazon and is just an spare battery with NFC and it comes with a really nice dock to put the phone too

Where?
If the Sprint battery is compatible with the Verizon battery then Verizon sells the 2100mAh for $25 at a store.

I don't have one either, but I think what's not compatible (without slight modification) is the Verizon back cover. I think the Verizon OEM battery would work fine on the Sprint device, otherwise.
Would be nice if Sprint launched with their own back cover and extended battery options.

The battery is a little larger than the 1850mah version that comes with the Sprint Galaxy Nexus. However, the back cover doesn't fit perfectly. You'll have to use a nail clipper or something similar to cut off the 2 small plastic nubs to fit the Sprint phone. There is a little bit of a flex on the cover where the nubs were cut, so unless you have a phone case, like a Cruzerlite case, I would not recommend using this battery/back for the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus. It's not major though, so it's possible to live with it if you're not really picky about the fit not being perfect.
The original back cover for the 1850mah battery will not fit with the 2100mah battery.

Wonder if samsung might make one for sprint?

I see a lot of battery threads but can't make up my mind, what's the best battery?

Price range under $30 and one that fits or slightly fits the original back cover

anker are known to be good batteries, but you should get the galaxy nexus battery that you can pick up from the verizon store. The OEM batteries have NFC capabilities the others do not. OEM should last longer too even though the mah are different.

Yup, and $25
Been on the VZ nexus extended battery for a month - wow it is great. Much better than I expected. Took off the label paper, trimmed off the plastic end caps to the battery height (with a razor blade). Left on the NFC antenna, but can get it thinner by cutting that off. My stock cover barely bulges. It's been $35 at Amazon (Samsung 2100 mah extended with cover) or at Verizon (lucked out when it was $25)
I just ordered the anker 2050 from ebay for 9.99 shipped.
I dont use nfc and our phones lack the secure element needed for g00gle wallet. I also wanted the back cover to fit correctly without having to modify the battery, and 50mha isnt a big difference.
Hands down nexus...

The better the system the more battery it Burns, I app pose that if the processors and memory were less consumptuous then maybe we would be better off. Honestly even if you are turning off certain process patterns or psych out the brain it won't help, the won't be such a thing as a perfect phone unless you built it yourself, but unless the boards and parts are sold to secure in sockets your out of luck.

Slim extended battery.

Does anyone know if there is a slim version of an extended battery? I have the onite 4300mah extended battery and it last all day, but I don't like the fact that it's a lot heavier than the phone with the stock battery. I don't need that much power. Just something to get me an hour or two more out of my phone. Something a little higher than the 2100mah. Any thoughts? Also if this post already exist, please delete this one, I apologize if there is one I was unable to locate it.

Hm. im afraid not... You could always underclock your phone or root... but i seriously am blanking out i honestly think there is no "slim" version of the extended battery.
Well I mean instead of me having a 2100 mah is there somethin little higher capacity or does someone know of a website that sells extended battery doors. I have the onite extended battery and I might just stick with that but the back door broke for the phone and I don't know of anyone who sells a pebble blue extended battery cover.

You can find a bunch on eBay. They even have 3000mah from china. I just bought 2 2800 from USA for like $15 they are the same physical size as stock battery. Just search i747 battery on eBay.
Are they NFC enabled like the stock battery is ?
Remember that on the GS3, NFC is built into the battery itself, not onto the phone.
Of course, if you don't need it...
i recently received my 2300 mAh Onite with NFC from Amazon.
so far, it's providing me with just a few more hours. which is all i needed anyways, and keeping the same battery cover.
i also have a CellularFactory 4500 mAh with NFC that provides me with 2 days of battery that i use when traveling.

Yes. Samsung finally decided to make all variants the same when it comes to form factor and battery. Just make a note, if you buy a third party brand battery, and you use Google wallet or nfc, make sure the battery has this feature.

Also note a lot of 3rd party manufacturers claim higher specs but in reality don't last any longer than the stock one.

There is actually a 2000 mAh battery out there. I bought it myself, but as other people said, if you do the math, it only adds about an hour, so it wasn't really worth it. If you really want an extended battery, go for the ones with the extra bulk, or buy two 1800 mAh batteries to swap during the day.
How about 2500mah Galilio or 2520mah "Sporting Persistence" on ebay?

Agreed, the Anker batteries (two pack with charger for less than $20) has been great. I have been using them for about 2 months now and they are doing just fine.
I have to agree about the Anker batteries as well. Be careful about what you buy off ebay though. I bough a 3 pack of supposedly 1800mAh batteries off Ebay and they were all ****. I compared the physical size of the batteries with the oem one and they were all thinner and lighter. Get the Anker ones. I bought an Anker one about a month ago and so far it's working great.
Yeah I just unwrapped a cheap 1800mah battery I got off ebay and the markings underneath indicated its a 1500. Its also skinnier than stock.
I just picked up some EzoPower brand batteries and they appear to be real 1800. Need to give them a few more charging cycles to get a better idea.
