It says this is for the dream, it is the same for the hero?
It's for the ADP1 - without the Hero kernel source, it isn't of much use to us.

Does anyone know how long it took for cupcake to be released to the masses after they released it for dev's?
I have an update zip but i havent tried it on my hero, it should work perfect if anyone wants to try it out ill upload it for you or just PM me!

I made an update zip but was no good! wokring on new image for everyone if it works ill release!

So, how do you have a donut zip that is supposed to work perfectly with the hero? I thought that was not possible yet?

be great to see Donut hit the hero! Its nice to see another Chef with a Hero appear! wouldnt mind a few cooking classes my self, still researching ATM ...

It runs, can place and receive calls. No wifi, no bluetooth.
Nandroid backup an wipe before updating

guys ive never rooted anyones phone before ,however, my friend is willing to lend me his phone for root lol i have no idea if thats such of a good idea but i really want to try . ive flashed roms and kernels but want to know if you guys can tell me steps on what i need to download so i can complete this task .any info would be greatly appreciated .and if you guys can send me links even better =) thanks

If its on 2.3 gingerbread the above method will not work you'll have to use revolutionary.io to root it

I know you are a busy people, but can anyone help me with this? ..... thank you very much for your help.
I want to try one of these roms, but I will not commit a fatal error, and I want to have the stock radio.
I guess the way to install the radio is by cwm.
then await your response, thank you.

No good reason for the link to be removed from the thread.
Pass the work onto someone else. Even if no one is interested, why remove the links? It is understood that it is no longer supported.

Before anyone can help you,
They need to know what your phone is....
Model, carrier, variant, version of the ROM you want and ALL THE INFORMATION YOU CAN SUPPLY
Sorta like if you go to the doctor, you don't get helped if you just tell the doctor something sore, help me....
or maybe go to the dentist say pull out the tooth its hurting me....
