DroidSansFallback.ttf + Softbank Emoji font (See Emojis on your Android!)

The original thread with the files is located here
Basically this will allow your Android phone to display Softbank Emoji encoding. This is not limited to just your text messages, but will also allow applications to display emojis that people have in their profiles or whatever.
Things needed before you install:
1)Root Explorer (from the Market) You can use a different file explorer app, but it must be able to mount your system folder as read/write
2)A program that can open a 7z file (you can find that online here The file that is provided is compressed with 7z format. There is probably an app that can extract that on the market, but I haven't looked for it.
3)Your phone MUST be rooted!!!
To install:
1)Download the droidsansfallback.7z file to your computer
2)Uncompress the file and move the droidsansfallback.ttf to your SDCard somewhere
3)Go /system/fonts with root explorer
4)Click "Mount R/W" at the top
5)Long-press on Droidsansfallback.ttf and click delete and then Yes to confirm
7)Navigate back to where you placed the droidsansfallback.ttf
8)Long-press on droidsansfallback.ttf and click "Move"
9)Go back to /system/fonts
10)Click "Paste" at the bottom
You're done!
moved, this is belong more into Theme-ing than Development
Make sure you give permission 644 or rw-r--r--

No boot sounds Cy4noobsMod

Is there a way to disable all boot sounds ? Putting my phone in silent mode doesn't help it still plays the transformers like sound which is way to loud when u have to do it in a public location imo.
Follow these steps:
1: Install root Explorer or ES file explorer etc.
2: Navigate to /system/media or /system/media/audio (cant remember which one)
3: Mount file system as R/W
4: Delete the bootsound.ogg or rename it to bootsound.ogg.old
5: Done !

yup, something like that. actually it was so easy as long we familiar with rootexplorer things. these for more accurately step:
> navigate to /system/media using rootexplorer (don't forget to mount system as R/W)
> delete "poweron.ogg" file or backup it (usually by renamed it to poweron.ogg.bak)
> done!
> or i'd like to suggest to customize it with your own sound file that already converted n renamed as poweron.ogg n replaced or backup the original sound file. recommended to set permission as same as the original (just copy by looking the original)
Hey, Thanks for this tip, Im going to do this after I flash Cyanogen 9
Or you just try the app called Silent Boot

~10GB being used when I did a full wipe?

So I tried installing a ROM for my Galaxy Nexus, and installed it uncorrectly so decided to do a full factory wipe from Clockwork Mod, and since i've done this I decided to install 4.2.1 mmuzzy rom + ZENSeries kernel along with it, I also decided to look at my storage to look at my storage, and it has said I have aprox. 10gb being used, I know the reason as to why (When I did a wipe it also did a backup of everything I had before that wipe apparently) but the problem is, is that I can't access those certain files to delete them, ive tried using ASTRO file viewer, and I just tried using my computer to delete them.
Any tips?
Oh and if anyone wants to know, i'm using the Sprint Galaxy Nexus (toroplus) w/ Android 4.2.1 mmuzzy + ZENSeries Kernel
They should be in the CWM folder.

They should be there, that's where they are stored.
Astro file manager doesn't look beyond the sdcard folder, the clockworkmod folder should be at /data/media, use a root explorer to find it.
Beamed from my Maguro.
I use the latest TWRP Recovery, which has an in-built file manager. It works perfectly fire transferring files from one location to another, deleting files, guilders, etc.

To OP: If you are used to Astro File Manager than I think using ES File Explorer with root permissions is easier for you than root explorer.
Here are the steps if you are interested:
1) Download ES File Explorer from the Play Store and run it.
2) Click on the botton right 3 dots
3) Click settings
4) Scroll down to "Other Settings" and choose "Root settings"
5) Check the first three options "Root Explorer", "Up to Root" and "Mount File System"
Now if you start ES File Explorer then you can go up one level by clicking the "up" icon in the main screen then go to the directory mentioned by Mach3.2 which is /data/media to find the "clockworkmod" folder

Now i'm getting 2 different results, I followed your instructions on using ES Explorer and that's working, but all the files I want to delete are under /sdcard/, ES Explorer show Alarms, Music, Android, etc., the recovery explorer shows mostly the same thing, but it has a folder named "0", and ES Explorer isn't showing that.

ES File explorer

Hey guys,
I'm hoping I have placed this question in its correct location(If not please excuse my mistake) but on my one x I'm having troubles with my ES file explorer. It came with the viper 3.7.4 that I'm now on. I have been wanting to change the boot animation zip with this program but I cannot delete or rename anything. I have superuser set. If I long press the file and click on properties I have read and write enabled. I also changed the home directory to /. The only thing I was successful in was cut and paste(I took the original boot/down animations and placed them in the newly created folder on my SD.
I also deleted and re downloaded ES file explorer but that did nothing
Even in my file explorer app I cannot delete files. It's like this phone is not letting me change anything. Is their something I have missed. I can only imagine its something simple that was overlooked but for the life of me I cannot figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
In the app, press menu, then root explorer, then mount r/w

thats all what I see if I want move
edit:
well, I have moved app by Es Explorer in app system folder.. Now If I want install it, will see installation......app is not installed....
edit2: I have restart my phone, my apk AXT9IME is in system/app folder, whan my phone start, tell me: samsung keyboard can´t work
System change read only. How do it
some idea?
For Stock Rom you need rooted phone.
There are many apps, you can use e.g. "Root Explorer" from Play Store.
I think there is a free version available.
Procedure for Root Explorer:
1. copy wished .apk to Storage on phone.
2. start Root Explorer
3. go to .apk you want to copy in system/app
4. select it and copy
5. go to system/app
6. in upper bar in the middle you can see mount status. (-ro)
7. change it to -rw by clicking on it and select item -rw
8. Superuser app flushes: grant access
9. Paste .apk in system/app
10. Restart your phone and have fun.
Feel free to ask if further problems occurs.

App probably not compatible. And free version of root explorer ( explorer) is already mounted r/w
EDIT: im pretty sure root explorer asks for root access on first startup

Yes! Is true, not compatible, I have folowed guide from teddytsen, all right, but after reboot after my phone freeze and tell me AxT9IME.apk (samsung keyboard) can´t work and stop!
I tested deodex .apk too and same problem always. And if I use Uninstaller Master and see in System apps, there is way to AxT9IME.apk normal- /system/app/AxT9IME.apk, but there is write "2.3.6"!
I want just same as I writed in my first message in atachement. But I don´t know if exist any compatible apk with my Stock or Custom ROM (I have problem with this in both).
In 4.1.2 JB is poor 3x4 grey keyboard... Don´t want it, maybe better downgrade
