Hi,
I recently tried to re-lock by boot loader using this method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1324703) I followed it exactly and the result was I now cant turn on the phone!!
Is there a way to fix this?
Hi,
I had unlocked the boot loader of my xperia Arc and all was good till i wanted to ogoback to stock for sometime .
In the quest to get the stock firmware installed i relocked the bootloader with the .ftf provided . now i am unable to unlock the boot loader it keeps saying failed . i have even requested for a new unlock key and still fails..
Please provide me with any suggestions i can try
Also the device ID seems to read - INFO - Connected device info: [ CB5A1DVWQP&ZLP ]
Is this correct or have i done something wrong??
Thanks and Regards,
Archie
When you unlock your boot loader its permanent, and it doesn't change even after flashing ftf. So you do not need to keep unlocking it.

Bootloader can be relocked by specific FTF file, if it was done by official method.
What I meant was the stock ftf files, not the BL reloxk ftf.

Hi this is stock rom, can't tell if it is rooted, or does your phone had locked or unlocked boatloader.
If you bought a new phone, not a used one, than it its for sure not rooted and with locked boatloader.

That happened to me also some time ago. I guess you probably locked the bootloader with a custom kernel. And if you had done it, try this
1) Unlock bootloader once again via fastboot it will work.

Yesterday i was have the same problem when relocked bootloader
- Now you need to update firmware via Update service on PC or flash official firmware via Flashtool and it will be with locked bootloader.
Thank you to all. I solve the problem flashing new OFW ftf 4.3 Update 15.4.A.0.23.
Now my bootloader is loked again and i lost ROOT access. But my Xperia M is now mor workable than ever
Can i flash 4.3 firmware on unlocked bl ?
Is it safe or
I have to relock it ?
And how (by flashtool will work)?
