hi guys, i've just flashed oxygen rom to my desire. would like to ask where's the chinese input for messaging? it used to be in the keyboard itself, but now it doesn't look like there is chinese input language. do i have to download anything else?

yes you can! however i use chinese keyboard as an additional input method as the rom i am using didnt come with the chinese language pack as part of froyo
Hi do you know how to install chinese keyboard into the desire? I don't want those applications like MoreLocale 2, Sogou, etc. I want something generic.

Hello, my dear fellow desireans! ^^
I thus justly updated my German ROM desire to 2.2 and me Russian keyboard is now gone Ahoy! Before i was able to switch between Russian and English where now English or voice command symbol resides.
Any suggestions on how to get my old keyboard back? i don't use voice to send sms at all...

Its the one with the mike on it (my one also says eng or en) beside the hide keyboard button, bottom left(screen not from my phone).

I don't think it was custom as i can not enable it. my locale does not have Russian how ever my phone is in Russian. I also installed anylocale that still gives me the keyboard in English.
Any ideas?

I got a tiny problem. I installed custom rom with gingerbread 2.3. When i did that my finnish dictionary was gone. I liked the original keyboard layout better than the gingerbread. I have been looking for old stock keyboard + finnish dictionary without any success. Can someone help me with this?

Hi all,
I'm about to send my current S3 to another country so I need a ROM which has more display languages (the new owner can only understand native language). I mean display language, not keyboard input. I have tried several ROMs already but they all come with only several language. I tried the Language Enabler app also but that does not help. Can you guy suggest to me a ROM which keeps all language that original Android has (I know my Nexus 4 has lots of language). Thanks

I can't reply in the dev thread so I have to ask here.
The problem is, I can't see any chinese characters from my phone, e.g. webpage/apps
And if I install other chinese keyboard, i cant see the character on my keyboard neither.
I'm sure he has deleted the language to slim down the rom, as i noticed that some other languages like japanese or korean are also missing.
but can anyone tell me what is missing coz i really need to at least be able see the language!
