Another question me, and a lot of other people, have had. Does the Xperia Play have a Gyroscopic Sensor? I need someone to confirm whether is does or not. The last thread I found about it on the XDA forums was unfinished and incomplete.
My question is, does the Xperia Play have a Gyroscope Sensor. If you know for sure that it does or doesn't, please respond.

It can have both.
Look, I'm looking for someone who knows for sure whether it has a gyroscope or not.
Check GSMArena, it is a reliable source about that kind of specs.

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was away to turn your G2 phone in to a Keyboard/Game pad through USB i saw one app on the market but it was through wifi and with your touch screen is there a possible way to do this?
There was a Plugin for psp with its CFW to do this but i would love to do this with my phone with its keyboard.
Why? That just doesn't sound all too fun

If you don't really care why the hell did you post? taking up useless space on a forum?
of course i checked google that's why i posted...
If you have no information on a question why they hell post?....
Now your changing my topic once again, so you might as well make your own tread "reasons people want apps and why you don't care"
*attention seeker whats attention *
Anyway if someone knows where i can find an app like this please let me know
HI THERE,
i AM SUPER NOOB. DO NOT USE ANY TERM WITHOUT EXPLAINING PLEASE.
i have the rogers play with 2.3.3. i did root it before using that app that would root your phon with just installing it. now after i updated to 2.3.3. that didnt work.
im wondering if now there is a new version of it?! if not please tell me what is the easiest wy to root the phone. and if u are going to help me please speak noob language. dont just say stuff cuz u assume i know it. im new to all this. never flashed any phone or anything like that. lol
thanks a lot. i need this cuz im getting low space msg and i have lotf or rogers crap on my phone that i want to get rid of. thank youuuuuuuu
You are so noob that you did not read the rules posted in this section. You are supposed to ask all questions in the general area.
You need to be saved from yourself so im not answering you question until you read until your eyes bleed.
Some proper English would help. If you don't know what your doing, and need step by step instructions, you shouldn't be rooting your Play anyway.

Go somewhere else.
Go: Move from a place to another one.
Somewhere: used when there will not be much precision about the location you're being sent to.
Else: in this case, it implies that going back to your starting point (that is, this forum) is undesirable, and that your destination should be different from your starting point.

Right I've been Disscusing with ChaisFirzen About porting his ARC CM9 Build to the PLAY which I've done But can I post it?
In android Development
Depends if this is a port or a one-line change in the build.prop, like the recent 'ports' we've had
Porting Chaos's ICS ROM he asked me to do Yesterday Because he needed help in his thread, Atarii is there a CM9 Wi-fi Fix?

Yes, depends on the issue. It could be the build.prop persist.wifienabled=1 or it could be that you need to add the correct wifi modules for the kernel you're using
Atarii I have Build.prop as wifienabled=blank
Theres No wifi Modules for FXP'S kernel or is there?
Thanks For the help.
The problem is, "ChaisFirzen" (ChaosFirZen) has been caught out posting up other people's work, making extremely minor changes, and then calling it his own. When he was called out on it, he pretends to be remorseful, but then tries it another way. He is more of a copycat than a dev. He claims to be just this innocent little 12 year old that doesn't know any better, but how many times does someone have to be told this is wrong before that excuse comes up bogus?
If I were you, I would steer clear of him before you get some of his "reputation" smeared all over you.
I'm with netizenmt on this one, you pair up with him and NOBODY on the play threads will take you serious. I got his thread shut down last time and he was reported for stealing. Watch who you pair with, that's all I'll say.

OK, so I know that $ony in their infinite wisdom has removed all PS1 titles from the store. If this were true why are they still listed?
I have gone through and test about 25 market enabler codes from this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797625
And tried to see which code will allow me to buy Wipeout... so far none work. They all say "Not available in your country". So I am wondering if there are any countries that can still access these games:
Syphon Filter 1:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sony.playstation.NCEA01910_0
Syphone Filter 3:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sony.playstation.NCEA03697_0&feature=related_apps
MediEvil:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...laystation.NCEA00311_0&feature=also_installed
Destruction Derby:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...laystation.NCEA00008_0&feature=also_installed
Wipeout:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...laystation.NCEA00010_0&feature=also_installed
Anyone willing to test a few more? I will keep testing as well and report if I find any code(s) that work and allow users to buy these games. I used to use Roger from Canada and it worked but that is no longer the case.
Forgot to add:
Wild Arms:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...29tLnNvbnkucGxheXN0YXRpb24uTkNVQTk0NjA4XzAiXQ..
All of them work for me here in the UK ozzman except for Wild arms

You mind if I ask which carrier in the UK you are with? I would like to try that one. I did try a few other UK ones prior to posting this thread, but they were all a no go. Thanks for letting me know..

So did anyone figure out how to buy wipeout?
Out of interest has anyone noticed how jerky wipeout is from the play store? Might have to try an ISO for psxperia as every other psxperia game I have converted is smooth!

I have tried so many codes, even going to the extent of using Docomo and my Japanese VPN to see if JPN has access... each time resulting in a "Not available in your country". Even with about 30+ codes tested (not kidding)
For now I am taking a break, I might try again this weekend.
Whats the point, Sony is not even pushing the Playstation brand onto android devices.

I know that the new Moto-X phone will be "always listening" and Google Now can be activated anytime by voice. However, there is yet to be solid confirmation this will be rolled out to other devices. One reason most devices do not use this is probably the strain it puts on the battery, always having to process audio.
A lot of threads seem to discuss this - how to achieve this task. However, it appears the general consensus is that the battery would drain to quickly.
I'm sorry this didn't really answer your question, maybe in the coming weeks, once people get their hands on the Moto-X, the hardware to implement the hands free Google Now will be studied in an attempt to replicate.
EDIT: I found something! I found an app in the play store called Open Mic+. It is really new and seems to accomplish the task you are talking about. The performance seems to be iffy for now, as its still in beta, and reviewers say it drains battery, but it could be really cool.
There's an app on Google play store called Google Mic +, it's the only one I could find. Works pretty well actually.
