Hey guys i got a HTC G2 Desire and i did a wipe on it and for some reason its suck on the HTC screen, I tried to do the PC10IMG.zip on it, but it does nothing, it loads and than it stays on the screen (Does not ask me to update). So than i tried to do it manuall via Adb (fastboot flash radio radio.img) and it gives me an error of failed (remote: signature verify fail) i dont know what else to do.

the main thing is don't freak out, cause even in the worse case, all you have to do is send your phone and US$40 to that famous dude here in the forum who un-bricks anything!
so i tried to run the Stock GB PC10IMG file on it, and i guess apparantly its still too old so its wont boot through. Is there a latest version of the PC10IMG that i can update it to?

With S-ON, I don't think you'll be able to push things via adb; that being said, pushing a new radio via PC10IMG or adb won't fix this.
What steps did you take to wipe the device.

Ok so here goes, hoping you guys can help... I've searched and found a few threads related to a similar issue, tried everything suggested, and still nadda....
Being the forgetful fool I am, I flashed the most up to date official RUU on my rooted Desire with Oxygen HBOOT without flashing the downgader HBOOT first... The idea was to do a simple unroot back to stock...
Needless to say things didn't go well. I now have a silver HTC logo with the 4 warning triangles in each corner
Read that flashing the downgrader then the RUU again would work so...
Flashed the downgrader HBOOT using fastboot... success!
Ran the RUU again... ERROR! 140 wrong bootloader version.
Tried flashing and running various recoveries, boots, etc. using fastboot... all give ERROR remote 12 signature verify fail
Cannot get to vol down+power
Cannot get to back+power
When I have the silver HTC and unplug USB I get the following:
BRAVO PVT1 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.80.0000
MICROP-031d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNT0101
RADIO-4.06.00.02_2
Mar 29 2010,21:34:33
RUU (in orange box)
Any ideas if there's anything I can do to get the phone booting again??
Thanks a lot for any help you can give!!

You are supposed to flash stock hboot, then flash hboot downgrader before RUU. This is because hboot downgrader only downgrades the hboot to allow RUU to s-on the phone. Technically now you are still on oxygen hboot. Are you able to fastboot flash hboot?

Hmm ok so I'm even more stupid than I originally thought...
Don't think I can flash HBOOTs in fastboot
Whenever I try 'fastboot flash hboot ...' with the stock alpharev hboot I get the 'remote 12 signature verify fail' error...
Thanks for the quick reply
Well screw me sideways... I fixed it...
For anyone who lands in the same (stupid) position as my idiot self, I just flashed the official 2.3 Gingerbread update RUU...
Flashed first time, booted first time, now boots every time...
No idea how or why... but yay
Dear Experts,
Yesterday while updating my friends HTC desire, the phone got bricked.. here is the chronology of events that went thru.. the phone was updated to 2.3.3 using official ROM exe.
* I successfully S-off the phone using revolutionary but could not push superuser, I tried using unrevoked but could not.
* I unfortunately, thinking that the phone was already on s-off gave it a hboot data++ to install cooked ROM, the phone stopped update giving error E:signature verification failed and since then it hasn't went beyond HTC logo and later booting itself to recovery automatically..
* I tried hboot from alpharev 1.8 stock and downgrade but the phone does not respond.
* tried to use the exe to run on pc but phone isn't detected, tried even after extracting the ROM to update official ROM via sdcard but same signature verification failed error. Gold card hasn't been made for the phone, I have tried to push amonra but doesn't work either..
Plz help...
Thanks..

You are fully aware that this forum section is for HTC Desire aka Bravo and not HTC DesireS aka Saga right?
via xda app
Sorry my mistake...
@ibraahim: it's very important for us to know which recovery you are using. Due to your description I'm sure the zip you wanted to install wasn't signed so you have to disable the signature verification in your recovery.
I guess you are using the clockworkmod (cwm) recovery or the AmonRA recovery because they are very popular. If you have the cwm recovery (the name and version are displayed on the top of the recovery, like ClockworkMod 5.x.x.x....) choose install zip form sd card and afterwards toggle signature verification.
If you have the AmonRA recovery (name and version are displayed on the bottom of your recovery, like Build: RA-desire-v.2.x.x) choose other and afterwards toggle signature verify.
Hey everyone. Been browsing these forums for a year now, haven't posted really, I'm kind of saddened that the first real post I have is a problem...
I have a Desire Z here (not mine), completely stock, never rooted or anything... the problem is that is will not boot, it just boot loops at the splash screen.. The strange thing is that I also cannot use the Recovery or Factory Reset options in the bootloader as they both also send the phone into a boot loop.
What can I try?

Thanks again to anyone that can take the time to help me out! Cheers.
That is a very interesting case you have there, its gonna be a pain in the ass to fix.
Have you tried a factory reset?
Do you know what software version was/is on the device?
-Nipqer
Factory Reset puts the device in a bootloop as well. I'm not sure what software verison was on the device, but my best guess is that it was never OTA updated so it likely has whichever rom the Bell HTC Desire Z ships with.
EDIT: Running "fastboot oem gencheckpt" gives me the following: "FAILED (status malformed (1 bytes))". I think this is really bad. Does this device have a fried CPU?
I'm fairly certain the FAILED (status malformed (1 bytes)) just means you ran the command in HBOOT instead of FASTBOOT mode, though even if you were in fastboot mode, you won't be able to use many commands as its a ship hboot.
You could try flash an official rom on it. You should be able to find one at shipped-roms.com, or at htcdev.com

I have a big issue with my HTC Verizon Droid Incredible 2. When I'm trying to start the phone, it stays on the HTC logo and white scree on the back and nothing happens..
The phone was not used for a long time.
I tried with the factory reset from the HBOOT menu, but the issue still remains.

Do you have a custom recovery ? Sounds like your missing a boot.img..no time to explain but use the search and you will find your answer..some one may help but useee the search

No I don't have a custom recovery.
I found a very simular treat as mine - http://androidforums.com/htc-droid-incredible-2/686352-incredible-2-unusual-boot-problem.html and I'm following it.
Now I have the problem with unlocking the bootloader with HTCdev.com when i paste "fastboot oem get_identifier_token"in the comand promt i get an error:
[ERR] Command error !!!
OKAY [ 0.009s]
finished. total time: 0.009s
I will try to fix it later today. If you know any easy trick to fix this error, please let me know.
Try rooting the phone with one of the sticky guides here on xda (prototype's is pretty all encompassing). I agree with chillybean, you probably need a boot.img. Rooting will help you install one.

Hi guys,
two days already I am trying to flash a custom ROM to my HTC Desire HD.
First I managed to unlock the bootloader using the Easy Ace Root Tool and installed ClockworkMod.
Then I tried flashing JellyTime 4.2 R11 and it got stuck at the HTC logo screen. I tried all kinds of suggestions from the forums about wiping / formatting via ClockworkMod but with no success.
Afterwards I used a second phone to put the Download Android Revolution HD 7.3 ROM on the SD card and flash it. This one went fine through the installation wizard but when I was back to ClockworkMod recovery mode I got: "Can't open /cache/recovery/log" "Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log". Then I selected reboot and it was hanging on the HTC logo again... I was waiting for a minute before I took the battery out... After this I tried "format /cache" from the CWM but didn't help either.
Then I tried using a RUU utility in fastbood mode to flash an official HTC ROM: RUU_Ace_Sense30_S_HTC_WWE_3.12.405.1_Radio_12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M_release_225512_signed.
It reached a particular point saying that the update failed.
I thought I cannot install the official ROM because I have unlocked the bootloader, so I locked it again using the htc fastboot utility. This didn't help either and the RUU failed again.
Here is what the bootloader currently shows:

I am at a point when I am ultimately confused and I don't know how much time I have (in terms of battery I mean )
So I have just a couple of shots before this turns into a beautiful piece of aluminium brick.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
