So I learned the hard way that I can't use Kings kernel with MIUI (completely froze my phone). What other kernels are out there that I CAN use with MIUI that will improve battery life?
Thanks in advance!

Im running Virtuos Unity 1.31.0 rom. Ive tried different kernels Tiamat 1.1.2 and jdkernel both booted up but very unstable laggy and apps would not work . I found kernel sense by drellisdee works great but wifi will not connect .the reason i wanted different kernel was for oc the stock unity kernel only oc to 1.5 but drellisdee has option for higher but its been unstable past 1.6 ...any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
switch over to CM7 if you want very high OC.
U shouldn't be using aosp kernels on sense roms things won't work that's why tiamat and jdkernel didn't work too well they are aosp kernels and your running a sense rom

Hi, I am running Newts 3D V2.0.2 of of my SD card with Boot manager & I am looking for the overclock kernel that was in earlier versions.
It is a little slow without overclocking on my sd card.
It was in 2.0 but a stock kernel was put in 2.0.1
Where can I find the overclock kernel?
Thanks

He took out the OC kernel because it didnt support alot of the features of the ROM. So until he can get his own kernel it wont be available.
Use drellisdees kernel its overclockable.

I tried the MIUI/ICS mix ROM but the camera constantly FC so that one is out the picture...What miui currently has everything working 100% & is stable? ANd what is the best kernel to pair it up with for good battery life??
Go to the team revalution link in my signature.
The last exceptional GB version is there and the best kernel that most of us were using was Tiamat 3.3.7 or 4.1.0
Mason Kernel has a GB version that should be excellent, too
Thread moved to Q&A..
Using swipers miui 2.3.2 b1 es which is android 2.3.7. I prefer this to ICS because at the moment I need a stable rom that doesn't need a charge 2x a day.
Anyways questions is if anyone know of a good SBC kernel that would work well with this rom. Tried underworld but it didn't play nice. Cause its geared towards sense I guess? Idk. Mason was nice on ics and I don't believe swipers builds are HWA. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
If you're on gingerbread, I recommend Tiamat 3.3.7 or 4.10, or a Mason G kernel.
