That's what I'm doing to cope with the anticipation!

From my reading, the AOSP source will be released with the first phones with ICS installed (Nexus Prime), which I hear is the 10th of Nov. The first ports will be fairly quick Im sure

There is a port in the G2 section. Doesn't mean anything though

I think he thinks devs get pid to do this...somebody should mention to him that we are using a leaked froyo so what the devs can do is limited.

Now that we have a semi functional cm6 MIUI shouldn't be "that" hard as they are both AOSP.

Cyanogenmod

Who would like to see Cyanogenmod ported to our device? ACS has done a bang up job of opening up our phones and now its time to realize the full potential. I KNOW koush has an SGSIIE4GT but the development has gone unpublished. If I could get this going who would be interested?

Nope that, is cm9 not cm8 ..... 8 was never made because they never released the source to honeycomb.

I suppose.
I'd be worried about seeing ICS source code.
They seem to imply it's ''made perfect for this device'' which is the same crap reason that Honeycomb source was never released.
Only if it helps port MIUI...other than that completely pointless and ugly as sin....
How about starting a pool to entice some developers with the proper know-how to this phone?
I'm definitely willing to put in some mulla if it means getting CM on this beast!
Is this still accepted on XDA? I used to see a lot of those in the past but nothing recently...

[Q] will we get ice cream sandwich?

CM9 vs. AKOP: which is better?

I'm currently running CM9 Beta1 with ShadowKernel on my Epic 4G. I see there is a new ICS ROM on the block called AKOP Kang. Which one is better?
Your thread is soon to be locked and deleted...there is a Q&A thread for questions...just my two cents my dude

If you don't know how to spell the name of a ROM, you shouldn't use the ROM.
That said, AOKP is better, IMHO.

I "like" the Kang rom better......for now. The difference I noticed (I followed installion guide for cm9) is a lot of "apk" apps weren't compatible with cm9. But with the Kang they were. Ithink its a lot more stable....MY OpioN. Hope my comment helped. Its also a lot easier to install.
I sense a disturbance in the force...
