Deep in the darkest recesses of JHutson456's mind lies the most horrific nightmare of all... A STOCK PHONE!!! RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!
This ROM is as simple and straight forward as it gets. This is what the MyTouch 4G was on 3 Nov 10. It's stock EVERYTHING! Hell, it's even the stock kernel! When I found this and built it (a really funny story as to how and why this happened) I started to really appreciate what all the devs out there do. I release this as a simple breakdown of the stock HTC Glacier builds with Root and Busybox. All three builds HTC has released for the Glacier are represented here. 1.1 is the MySense Android 2.2 build (think day one of release out of the box) 2.0 is the 2.2.1 update which came out just after the phone was released. 3.0 is the recent 2.3.4 update. I enjoy showing you guys my learning process and I hope you enjoy watching. There is lots more to come, but these early moments are meaningful to me and as such I share them with you.

Can i ask why you do not use the official update of the gingerbread Tmobile? If you would do it will be a great rom. My dream would be GB stock with: supporting ext4, deoxed, root, busybox, multilanguage. The top choice would be to offer 2 roms: with and without sense. Thanks for your hard work.

Insomnia strikes again! Sorry about that, all fixed. When I put the link in I crossed the link (had the link name, which you were seeing) correct but the link target (hidden, but where the link actually goes) wrong.

The OP at ACSyndicate has been updated with Nightmare 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0.
Each is a stock build with very minor tweaks of the 3 MyTouch 4G builds. Android 2.2, Android 2.2.1, and the newest update 2.3.4. All rooted and with busybox.
Check them out! I'll update the op here tomorrow, I'm at work but wanted you guys to know

umm.. do you mean what would I tweak these into? Well... I was thinking have a parallel "Insomniac's Dream" series which would be hyped up, souped up versions. De-bloated and re-invigerated. but that's what I'm asking for, what is anyone interested in.

Simple is beautiful. And nothing is simpler (as far as sense) than a debloated stock ROM. Even if its as simple as moving all "bloatware" to the /data/apps folder to make it easy to pick what you want removed.

I mean I wish everyone's post was titled like this one so we could figure out what they we're talking about. We should make a bulletin at the top of the forum page about it so everyone would see it and read it. Man wouldn't that be neat???????

at the moment all i know is that apparently its the first official CyanogenMod 7 Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM for the HD2
I've been following this build Since he started it. It wasnt a release. Its not ready to be released. The build here is from a tester that uploaded it.
based off the screenshot, it is using MDj's kernal, he was having issues with his.

like i said, i just got the info from pocketnow so i assumed they are a reliable source. also i guessed it wasnt 100% stable by that fact its RC0

i tested his original build, couldnt get it to boot, had to change a few things, in order to, so i went back to MDj's build.

no, i should have really but i assumed he wouldn't mind seen as it was on pocketnow, if he wants me to take the link down i will gladly do so.
Theres a thread about this in, I think, the HD2 Android general thread. Alot of stuff is broken and not working in this build. It was a really bad idea to post this
Virtuous Codename: Trentacinque Beta
Maybe some of you already saw on Virtuousrom Website that I was able to leak some screenshots of the new Virtuous ROM. But now I was able to leak a complete build from them *lol*
But now to the "real" stuff:
The rom itself is based on the Runnymede RUU 1.05.401.4. After some days with trying to make this build really stable we still need to say this rom is still in a early build state. So be aware that there will be some problems left. Also there aren't any tweaks at the moment in the rom. We first want to make it stable and then begin to add some nice features.
As you maybe already saw we have no name for the rom at the moment. Therefore we started a thread in our own forum where we got a lot of suggestions for it. We will now try to pick up the best five suggestions and then start a poll here on XDA.

We always recommend a full wipe when changing ROM's but it should be fine to update without a wipe. But if you have any bugs please try a fresh install with a full wipe before reporting.

Dude, don't even come at me with your mouth. I'm stating the obvious. Where's the originality? I see all this copy and pasting and its quite sad. I'm just gonna go download Bindroid and take out sense, add adw and call it Bindroidless! Same principle. It's just Feb's rom with a sense like launcher. When his issues on the rom are fixed then expect this to get updated. In my opinion it should be called a kang, not a rom. It's called constructive criticism. If you release something then expect it. I know he's learning and that's awesome but it was a simple question because the o.p wasn't quite clear. So please go back to cricket land.

Agreed that it is a kang, but enough with the negativity, he's a young teenager just trying to add some more options for people to enjoy their phones more and not get bored.
Your work is very much appreciated OP, keep up with it.
Edit: any chance you could use a different filesharing site like devhost or something. Some sites really suck to try and dl from and filesonic is one of them.

I updated my previous post. I would also use dev host too. It just seems with all these filesharing sites are being wacky.

Remember...
Guys remember, this is a COMMUNITY project. What does that mean? It means that this ROM will only progress and become better when everyone in the Glacier forums contributes to it. No, I'm not asking for donations to the Team or whatever (although that would be nice), I'm asking for the Glacier community to come together and make something great. Because I know for certain that we can. I have not yet once seen a ROM out there that was created/modded/worked on by the whole community, let's be the first to achieve that.
Remember, "the more the merrier"
I want to see this project done, because honestly, I love the idea of a Flyer ROM for the Glacier. Now let's get it done.
Alright, now if you guys are willing to help... the current issue that we are trying to figure out is WiFi. Ready Team? THEN LET'S DO IT!!

it's been confirmed: Darkside Sense v7 kernel and RCMix kernel results in WiFi working on this ROM!

What does this even mean? On these forums, there are two groups of people: developers and users.
This is a "community project".
Do you want the assistance of additional developers? I would imagine you guys would've made inquiries as to who was interested in joining this project, prior to starting it. Your statement seems more directed to the users on these forums
Do you want more users to download, flash, and report bugs? If there's interest, there's interest. If not, then not. Is there an overload of ICS ROMs? Yes, but that seems to be what most people are still interested in. Literally all ROM treads have users reporting bugs and issues. Is this what you want? Is this what makes a "community project"? Is every ROM not a "community project" then?
I appreciate the work that the developers have made in building their ROMs, even this one. However, it doesn't surprise me that there isn't a lot of interest in this specific ROM. While this may be an ambitious project to take on, it probably would've been better to do a survey beforehand on what would cater to the masses if that's what you desire

Thanks for the good question this Rom has Everything Full Sense Ecept Rosie even the recent Apps its more stable and the first Official Release of TeamIceSense Rom for the MyTouch 4G.
To the other Sense for rom here in the forum that is a not official port and crap as well.So just give it a try and enjoy.
We can't do anything about the camera until kernel and we are working together with Team inferno this.
I do accept and acknowledge your opinion, just thought it would be nice if we could expand

Well the way I see it, its nice to see another dev in this section. I admit we have a lot of the same roms of all different builds in here and its overkill for sure but that means more heads working together and fixing stuff. Camera or not its still nice to see a new rom for us crack flashers. Thanks!

To tell the truth, I really can't tell the difference between this, invasions rom and primadonna. It's just the usual. Except virtuous has support for track pad but I am so used to not using it that it doesn't matter. I prefer invasions rom because he's freaking awesome but you have a very good rom. Thank god that very good ROMs are the usual now
