Hy,
I have an HTC Desire with GingerVillain 3.3 (Now), also I used the previews versions (from 2.1 onwards).
My problem occurred 2 times and consist in that when someone calls me I can hear what is spoken before I answer.
Has anyone had this problem?
Thanks!
Do you mean you can hear the other person before you accept the call?

What the... ?!
Yes @timmaaa, that was the strange situation.
The first time I hear the person until I accept the call, and the second time I hear the person just for 2 seconds.
I just was wandering if it's a problem of the OS or form the network provider.
To me it sounds like a problem with the os/hardware

Can the person calling you, hear you before 'accepting' the call too?
Already tried to reboot your phone?

Anyone else having problem's waking up the screen when receiving phone calls? Or default ringtones continuously ringing without pausing? I love the rom,but this can be quite frustrating. On the other hand, cyanogenmod has been flawless for me.

Hi,
I have been using custom roms for a while now, but have started facing this call waiting issue lately.
The problem is that whenever i am on a call and there is a call waiting the active call gets muted. If i reject the call waiting, then the active call comes back. I have wiped and installed fresh roms, but cant get this issue fixed. I have tried ARHD, Dogma and rcmix, but the issue is there on all three for me. It seems that i am doing something wrong.
I restore my apps using titanium backup and only restore contacts storage and sms storage from the system data.
I hope some of the champs here can help me.
Cheers,
Shamps

Hi there
Have you already tried to use another radio that is recommended with the ROM u use?
It can make the difference.

Yes, i am using the recommended radio. I doubt it will be radio related as i dont have any issues with call quality. Its just that the active call gets muted when the call waiting notification is there on the screen.

Hello there.
A weird problem hqs started occuring after i hang up on phone calls - it sends me to the mobile data settings page. This happens almost all the time and is getting irritating. I'm on a leedroid GB rom, and have just yesterday installed a uot theme. This shouldn't have anything to do with it right? What's gone wrong?
Thanks.

Hi guys, got a strange issue here. Whenever I dial a number the phone will ring a few times then the signal bars will jump from whatever they are on to nothing with an x and call will fail. However; the phone will still be ringing on the other persons end, and if I redial then it will jump into the call I tried to make previously. The same could happen again during the call. Strangely, this only seems to happen when I bring the phone up to my ear, if I use hands-free it only happens 1 time out of 10. Anyone have any ideas?
I'm using SuperNova Xtreme ROM, any more info needed?

Same peoblem here with stock... Heard it's a bug with proximity sensor. Does your phone drop the signal when you lock the screen?

Unfortunately, I have also read that there is no fix for that bad luck for us, I guess
Well, I've just done a quick Google and found that sometimes simply taking the back off the phone and hoovering everything out can help, as well as blowing/hoovering on the line between the earpiece and the screen. I'll try it out and post my findings.

Hey, I've managed to fix it, but only by flashing with an entirely new ROM/RUU. It's the only thing I could find to fix the issue.

Hi,
I installed Viber on my phone, and did a try-out call.
The problem is that I can't hear anything (I can heart something, but nothing understandable), and on the other phone the sound is delayed with 1 or 2 sec (and only works on speaker, just like on Skype).
I'm on RobotoMOD based on CM9.
Right now viber had the problem what ever you are using
Try tango is better and you can make video call
