I'm looking for a program like bump but one that's not totally lame and useles like bump lolz. I want to share filez with my gf's gs2 and my gs2. I want to share zip files of all sizes. Bump doesn't support files. Just pics and contacts. What do you guys use?

The phone doesn't have one build in does it? I tried a app called "blue tooth file transfer" and it didn't work. It would send about 300kb then just fail. Any other blue tooth tranfer app that actually works?

there are a few programs...some of us use smarttoolkit...which is what i use, but there are other programs out there....
e-natives.com for smarttoolkit.

unzip it on your desktop. then transfer the .cab file on your phone via activesync. then click the .cab file on your phone to start installation.....

I would advice you use SmartToolKit RC08 as it works well with the dash, can be downloaded @ http://www.neilmorgan.co.uk/btbbanywhere/closing_applications.htm. Place this file on phone via active sync or beam via bluetooth find it via Filemanager on phone and click on and install. You will need to go into it's options to get it to load @ startup.

I've been wondering about this myself... After getting a screen capture on SmartToolkit, how do you get the bitmap to display in your post as a thumbnail? For some reason, I can only get it to be an attachment--but I want it to be visible to everyone as they scroll past my post.

hmm, I've never had a problem with this. All i do is take the screen shot, then put the xx.bmp on the desktop, upload it as an attachment and viola, it's there
if you want, i'll do it right now.
EDIT: I just realized what i did, open image in paint, save it as jpeg and upload the jpeg. it should work fine

Are you running WM 6.1/Vista? I'm having trouble connecting it. Ok, i tried everything but it just does not connect, Ahh - Even tried connecting from the phone. Nothing happens. Just says connecting but never ends up connecting.
Can someone else try it out & tell me if it's working for them or not?
You know what, It's the damn firewall in vista but even after i turned it off, it's not working.

I like that it is a small specific app without all the other junk like Smart Tool Kit. Not that I don't like Smart Tool Kit but it has a lot of stuff in it and if all you want is a screen shot than this app will do.
Seems like SMart SS+ will allow you to take .png and .jpeg as well as .bmp

I am looking for the private notepad apk. I believe if to be freeware and I got it once in the market but have not been able to find it after losing it during a hard reset. The application displays itself as a notepad in your list but when clicked opens a password protected tube porn viewer. It displays eight pictures which will load up the video using the system player. you have option to show more videos and change password. Ive done the google thing and search other avenues but it seems to have disappeared. any help will be appreciated with a thanks.

i too was looking for the same "notepad", i had this on my evo and it was working fine. one day the pictures would still load but when clicked the message now will say "sorry cant play video".
did i get a virus? do i have to change settings?
incidentally, i noticed some of my apps were gone. please help!

Which apps did you find? Did you try any of them? I searched a few months ago and was not able to find anything. Someone said that "the newest version" of Qik did that, but I was not able to find any version of Qik that did video editing.
Please let us know your experiences with the apps.

So I searched but couldnt find the answer. I am looking for the app that lets you control your phone from the computer. Its not screencast or remote desktop. It was an app that would give you an IP address to go to from your computer and up would pop the home screen of your phone. I charge my phone in another room and run wifi tether and would love to see whos texting me and be able to reply among other things without having to get up every two minutes. I had it before and flashed a rom and thought that titanium backup had run but it didnt so I lost it. Thanks for any help.
Well I would recommend Remote Desktop (I know you mentioned it), it is an awesome app that I use all the time, it lets you send sms messages. I think the one you are thinking of is called PicMe. It's ok, pretty sluggish IMO. I really think Remote Desktop is the best app for this type of thing.

I like remote desktop but you cant tell when you get a new text or whos it from.
edit.I do remember the one I had being a little sluggish so that might be it, haha.

Its as secure as your password. Set your custom login and password and you should be fine.
ehh i like browsix for texts. But webkey is better besides that.

I have it and have tested it to work with the Evo.
I broke my TP2 screen, and upgraded to the HTC EVO Shift, and am really missing the clover, and covert ringtones, and one other i cant recall that were on the TP2. I found someone else who had uploaded a rar file of the WM6 ringtones, but they were different, so I'm assuming these may have been HTC specific maybe? In any case, I was wondering if someone out there would be generous enough to rar/zip up that folder in the windows directory of their phone with those sound files, or at least send me the clover, and covert sound files. I have done quite a few google searches turning up nothing, so you guys are my best hope I think. Thanks a bunch!

Which WAV's you want? Clover and Convert? I have no clue what I have, but I'll look on my old RAPH.
