So currently I have a cheap case I bought on ebay and it's messing up my invisibleshield on the sides. Whenever I grip the sides it pushes up against the shield and dust gets in there.
I'm considering buying a new case but I'm not sure what one to get so it won't mess up the shield. Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking the tpu case but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Hands down the best cases you can get for your phone at the TPU fusion cases. All TPU cases are great, but the TPU fusion just has a slightly higher level of detail.
There is a thread in this section about the TPU fusion cases that also has an online coupon code for like 10% off their already really cheap price.
I would link but I'm feeling lazy today. Happy hunting

I agree! Best case I've used so far (and I've used silicone, tpu, trident cyclops, and the aegis). Thing rocks and really does protect

Used to have more colors but now only have black, clear and red.

I originally bought the black gel skin from T-Mobile when I bought my phone. It was a lint magnet, though, and it added a significant amount of bulk to the phone. So I ended up buying a translucent smoke colored TPU case, OEM HTC variety, from Amazon. It's nice, feels good, looks good, has cutouts for all the buttons (so they aren't hard to press like some TPU cases) and doesn't add a huge amount of bulk to the phone, while also making it easier to hold onto.
I have used the Otterbox Commuter and the TPU Fusion case. I switch between the two. Plus they both protect the phone well and fit inside of my Seidio holster.
Trident aegis case FTW

Is the Seidio holster you're using the standard one for the MT4G? Or did you have to use a larger size? I'm looking for a good case to replace the Seidio one I'm currently using, but I like the design of the Seidio holster...

As previously stated, the trident case is very good, but if your not willing to spend the money you can go for the TPU fusion. Its cheaper, and still has a modern look to it.

the TPU Fusion case is the best ive seen..
the regular silicone cases are nice too but the rubber is so grip-y that its hard to pull the phone out of the pocket lol
The trident case looks great I'm going to order it.
my sister has the TPU case and i think im going to pick one up they look great and feel good in the hands.

It's not so much a case IMO but more of a glove. The phone remains extremely slim still and its pretty stiff.

Try the Otterbox Commuter case. It's fairly cheap for a otterbox, and it looks like it'd be a good case that would work well with invisishield,
I just saw that case mate now has the pop case available for the ET. I am debating pulling the trigger on one of these instead of the barely there aluminum one.
http://www.case-mate.com/Samsung-Ga...msung-Galaxy-S-II-Epic-Touch-4G-Pop-Cases.asp
like the stand, but
notice they don't show a true side view, I'm thinking this thing adds some width
I'm debating between this and the Tough cases... I want something still light and thin.
I am kind of sitting tight at the moment looking at what is out there. Right now the only one I have seen that has a holster to fit it is the combo that sprint has. I will probably wait until seidio releases their surface combo. But it is nice to see that more and more cases are starting to show up.
this case was already video reviewed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1292253
The reviewer just keeps repeating "it is white", "that's the case"...thanks for the insight....
It does look a lot thicker, sticking with my TPU for now.
this is the case I've decided on. I love the thin phone and all that.. but I do actually prefer a little bulk to hold on to when I game, plus this looks like it adds a good amount of protection plus a stand to boot. I wish either otterbox or trident would make a case but this will due in the meantime
The one from boxwave looks very similar to this one.

I just ordered this from the CM website (carbon/black). $35 was more than I wanted to spend but I didn't buy insurance for my ET4G so I don't want to wait any longer and possibly drop it. Looks good though. I wanted something that covered all sides of the phone.
I think this will be the case I get. I'd like to see some comparison with other cases like the TPU one.
We offer both the Tough Series and the Pop! Series in our shop for this product. Ironically, the Pop! case does add a little more "beef-ier" stance to the phone versus the Tough case.
We just got our paws on the Tough Cases in Black and Black/Pink along with some Barely There Series cases in Black, Pink and White
I have this case, the matte black tpu one, and the carbon fiber kickstand case as well. I really like this case, however if u are one who really likes the thinness of your GS2 then this case is not for you. It does add considerable bulk to the phone and with it having a 4.52" screen already, the pop case turns it into a beast. But don't forget that it also adds great protection to your investment. I like how the pop case is only one piece, and not two layers that guy together on your phone. The inner rubberized layer should add great cushion to any drop your phone experiences, along with the built in gorilla glass spoils make your phone indestructible. I also enjoy the pleasing aesthetic that this case offers with its white/grey color scheme, as it's likely the reason i choose this case over the case-mate tough case.

Just got this case in the mail today. It definitely adds some size to an already large phone. Overall I'm happy with it though and it's much easier to get a grip on it for sure. Also the phone seems practically indestructible with this case. If protecting your phone is the top priority this is for you. The only complaint I have is that the kickstand is a bit flimsy since its a pretty soft plastic. I'd like to see if Casemate decides to make a brushed metal barely there case with a kickstand. I'd buy one if they do.
I love this case. It does double the thickness of the phone but its no worse than an evo in a commuter.

Yeah the trade off is worth it to have it protected IMO. Feels really solid but not bulky. When i pull it out people are always like what the hell is that? Whoa the screens huge! Haha.
I know of Casemate & Ballistic, but the Otterbox cases have the part that overlaps and goes around the front face of the speaker on the front of the phone, and at the bottom. Is there one like that for this phone, or am I stuck between the Ballistic & Casemate?
I have the Ballistics case and I'm very happy with it. Just use a seperate screen protector. I've wanted an Otterbox myself, to be honest, but they have some drawbacks from what I hear. I've never owned one, though.
Both the Ballistics case and Zagg screen cover come with lifetime warranties too, if I'm not mistaken.

Unfortunately Otterbox doesn't make a case for our phone. Thankfully we have some pretty decent choices, however.
I use the: Case Mate Pop case for the Epic 4g Touch
Also very popular are: Ballistic Case for Epic 4g Touch and the Trident Aegis Case for the Epic 4g Touch
I think once the case mate wears out for me I'll probably switch to the aegis. The ballistic looks too large for my tastes, but its completely opinion. I bet the ballistic would protect the phone the most.
I also wanted an Otterbbox case. When I bought the phone it came with the Ballistic case and I hated the odd corners. I decided to go with the Black Trident Aegis and haven't looked back. Been with the phone for about a month now and I'm very happy with this case. Love it more than my otterbox commuter on my Evo 4g and Evo 3D.
The corners of the Ballistic case are what I like most about it. The way they protrude provides a uniquely secure grip, especially in landscape mode, or doing, what I call, the hands-free shoulder-face maneuver.
It's hard to explain, but they allow the phone to be held in very awkwardly positions, such as underneath your chin, without breaking a sweat (or your $400 phone).

Trident Aegis is, in my opinion, the best case for this phone. It is very protective, has screens over the mic and speaker to stop debris from coming in, and the case actually makes the side buttons easier to press. I've always used otterbox, and I've found the Trident Aegis to be a perfect replacement.
Got it here:

The Case Mate Pop case is very very similar to an Otterbox Commuter, and comes with a built in kickstand.
It does it's job pretty well too. Last night in I was in a pretty upset mood with someone on the phone and I threw it as hard as I could against the wall and the phone was fine. The case is fine too.
ballistic all day
Looks like Otterbox finally got around to making a case for the Epic Touch. Two actually, the defender and the commuter.

Casemate tough case
I got the casemate tough case online for $16. It seems very similar to the otterbox I had for my EVO. If you want to pay for the name, go ahead baller.
P.S.
I have not thrown it off a 10 story building or run it over with a car, so I can't honestly say if stands up to the otterbox legends.
Try Tuf Tek,its only $5 on amazon and I bet its just as good if not better than these $20-30 cases.
I own one and it has good grip and side buttons are easy to press.I never owned Trident or other expansive cases but I really dont see what extras they cam have that this case dont.
Here is one I bought http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005U3OQK2/ref=redir_mdp_mobile ,only thing that color is little off.
I would love for someone to buy one and compare it to othe more expansive cases.

I couldn't bring myself to fork out $50 for a case I can't try on first. I instead ordered the Ballistic SG from Amazon for $19 (and the company gave me free 'first class' shipping!)

Hi everyone. I got my phone around 3 months ago and I've been sporting this $2.50 case I found online. It's good, but doesn't offer the protection I need. I'm looking for a better case that isn't too expensive. So far I'm considering these...

Otterbox Commuter if I can find one for cheap
Any recommendations? Thanks.
I had the actual ballistic case like that. It will protect it from falls but i work in construction and everyday i got home i had to take the phone out the case and clean them both bc the case gets dust inside to easy. Ive had seidios tridents ballistics and otterboxes for numerous phones. Ive pretty much come to realized the only case thats gonna offer full protection is one with a built in screen protector like a otterbox defender or ballistic hc. Others do offer good drop protection but they just let to much dust inside the phone

The Trident Aegis is a great case and offers great protection against drops and dust. You can find it on eBay for about $20 with shipping. You can't go wrong with the otterbox commuter but that's gonna cost you about $27 on eBay shipped. If cost is a big factor go with the Trident. You get more bang for your buck. Its a premium case at a great price.
I love my Trident but I ordered the otterbox commuter just because I'm an otterbox fanboy

I just got that same exact case yesterday and its a steal! Feels great while holding phone and not cheap looking at all. I remember paying 35+ for a trident ageis case on my old mt4g and that is basically what this case is.
Also ordered couple screen protectors and the case does a good job of keeping protector snug so no dust gets in. I'm very impressed and I usually hate rocking my phone anything but naked lol

I have a very good news for you.
You can get Seido cases for dirt cheap.
here is why.
Seido makes OEM ( store brand) cases for Bestbuy sold as platinum series.
The surface case. is best buy model call STC21SB. list as 34.99
but if you search 'STC21SB' on ebay, store liquidators are always getting rid of them under 10.
this method can be apply to any phone.. just search your phone in best buy, get the model number of Seido case, and get it on ebay.
I think last time i got one... 8.99 shipped including holster.
I'm using a thick tpu generic case I got on Amazon for 6 bucks it is amazing and looks alright to...... dropped my phone many times it saved it every time even threw it on to a tile floor as demonstration and it feels amazing in the hand cause it's textured

I have a black casemate. I liked it better than the otter boxes, easier to grip and feels more sturdy, IMO.
Looks like this one,
http://www.amazon.com/Case-Mate-CM0...38Q8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334131116&sr=8-1
I got the Seidio Active case a few months back and it's been through a lot of falls and it hasn't gotten a single scratch on the case or the phone. It even makes a nice solid thud when it hits the ground so I know it's absorbing the impact. I got it off of Amazon (not sure if you could get it cheaper).
Personally, I have the ballistics one I got for 17$ on Ebay and i'm satisfied.

Hey guys,
I am looking into buying a case now, and after looking through some threads here, I think I will pick one of these three:
Diztronic TPU case: http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Flexible-Protector-International-Packaging/dp/B0089F49P0/ref=?ie=UTF8&m=A2HOCXU5SC35JO
Ringke Slim Lite: http://www.rearthusa.com/galaxy_s3_slim_lite_kit
Incipio Silicrylic: http://www.amazon.com/Incipio-SA-302-Silicrylic-Silicone-Samsung/dp/B0085VAP38/ref=sr_1_1_m?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1342098764&sr=1-1&keywords=galaxy+s3+incipio
The most important thing for a case to me is drop protection, followed by thinness.
I have heard good things about all these cases, so I feel that I can't go wrong, but I'm having a hard time choosing.
Also, if you know of any other cases that you really like and offer good drop protection.. let me know
Edit: Looks like I'll go with the Incipio.. Thanks for the replies

If drop protection is top on you list then take the Rearth off the list. TPU is quite hard when compared to silicone, in a drop test the Silicrylic case will not doubt be much better.

+1 I currently use the Ringke but only because it's thin and provides enough protection to prevent scratches while still preserving the beauty of the device. I also have the Diztronic tpu and it should provide enough protection for low drops.

My silicrylic and my gs3 both showed up yesterday.
The case is very nice and definitely offers drop protection. The silicone doesn't seem to attract dust and lint like I thought it would.
I used to have a seidio active on my evo 3d which is the same type of case, so I thought I knew what to expect. I have to say though the incipio case is much nicer than the seidio case was. It is very sleek for what it is and the silicone isn't at all tacky like the seidio case was. It is very smooth and slides in and out of a pocket very nicely.
The all black looks nice on my blue gs3 too which is great.
I basically bought this case for times I may want a little extra protection, but I am so happy with it I think I will use it as my primary case. Fyi I ordered from Amazon and it only cost me $17 shipped.
I'm liking that incipio
I have this casemate one because it was all I could find the second day I had the phone. They come in all black now
Definitely buy the Incipio Silicrylic.
I have actually bought all 3 types of cases for my S3 that you listed in your OP, so my opinion matters more than these other guys! j/k -- 1) TPU (Cruzerlite ($10); similar to Diztronic and $1 versions on ebay); 2) Hard polycarb shell (Rock Quicksand ($10); similar to rinke); 3) Hybrid (Incipio ($18)).
After trying all the cases on, I can only recommend the Incipio if you care anything at all about protecting your phone, while looking good, and without adding as much bulk as an otterbox. The Incipio's Silicone sides and the hard case itself is also grippier than the others, and doesn't attract lint at all like my $0.99 silicone lint magnet on my old Captivate.
(Throw the screen protector that comes with the Incipio away, though. Crap quality)
I have the incipio and like it a lot...tried a letterbox commuter but took it back because I liked the incipio that much better...

I dunno, if thinness is number 2 you should stay far away from the incipio. It is definitely a fatty.
I say just suck it up and get the ringke or diztronic and just be more careful.

Seriously... you should +1 this ish.

The Incipio is an excellent choice. I bought all three and find the Incipio to be far superior, mostly due to protection capabilities.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
I love my Incipio Silicrylic White/Gray case, but I just ordered an Otterbox Defender for the times when I feel I need a little added protection.
The only thing I don't like about the Incipio Silicrylic is that it doesn't have quite as much grip on the hard shell as I expected it to. Otherwise, it looks great, seems to protect well (though I haven't dropped it yet, and don't plan to), and doesn't gather lint.
If I wasn't so afraid of the phone slipping out of my pocket, like my iPod does all the time, I wouldn't even use a case.
But, a good case is a lot cheaper than total protection insurance. It costs more over the course of 2 years with deductible than I originally paid for the phone with contract. An an Otterbox Defender only costs $30-$50.
My vote is for the incipio
If you don't mind the extra bulk and want the peace of mind stick with the defender. The bulk is not bad, and it makes the phone feel like it's made of more premium material, I own it and it's great!
