This quote will let you flash your recovery easily through a computer,what you need to do is just a few steps below:
Above all ,make sure your wildfire s is S-OFF.
1. Download HTC Sync USB drivers through internet ,you can find it in the website of HTC.
2. Download "flash_recovery.zip" in the end of this quote, and extract it to you desktop (anywhere is OK),
3. make sure you user data space have more than 10 Mb available (to make sure,you may need uninstall some applications in you phone).
4. connect you phone to the computer with USB data cable,and chose HTC Sync mode.
In the end ,you just need to click "RunMe" in the folder that you extracted, then wait some times ,the application will work itself ,when you see "press any key to continue" ,all be done~!
After these steps, your phone will reboot into recovery mode ,which is showing the vision 5.0.2.6 and with a blue menu.
By the way, you can use your own recovery.img to instead of the recovery.img in the folder,but you must name it as "recovery.img" .
You should have succeed !

Or you could download clockworkmod, put on sd card and it installs itself.
Yeah just downloading and placing the clockwork recovery zip on the root of the SD card is a much faster process.

Yeah,it a normal way to flash recovery,but in China, someone locked hboot to forbidden others flash it ,and planted some applications in the phone that not welcome by users. So, I found this method to solve this problem .
I see, so this is a good bit of knowledge to have in case someone does the same later.

Finally, a MANGO ROM with Chinese language pack...
By the way, I would like to know if the following procedure is correct to flash this:
1) download the package and remove the signed.nbh file..
2) shut down my Mozart and fire it on with VOL+DOWN button holding
3) run the RUUupdateutility.exe
4) wait for the flashing to finish
is this correct?

arbelnox, you will also need HSPL. It's a risky procedure if you want to try.
EDIT: I want to make clarification that HSPL is only require if your region is not supported.
My specs (Taiwan Device) are a bit different than yours:

Hardware: 0002
Radio Software: 5.65.09.25a_22.45.50.21U

FWIW, both with and without SPL_signed.nbh produce invalid vendor (294) error.

On WP-Central, a user shows the Taiwan ROM with a slightly different version than the one uploaded by day2die.

The version shown for both Schubert and Mozart RUU's is 4.1.100.1332.
This appears to be different than 4.05.728.01. Maybe same file, different file names?

i gog to update my HD7..... downloading the ruu now...
I'm going to go to my local Taiwanese HTC store and have my Mozart officially flashed this weekend. I'm currently running Mango 7714 and want to get proper version; Chinese language support will be a big bonus (as my girlfriend uses my phone alot, plus will increase re-sale value here in Asia).
My only concerns:
- I assume everything will be wiped by this re-flash? I have to reinstalled all apps, and will lose all sms messages?
- Will this leave my Mozart unbranded and on the official HTC update path via Zune? I'm worried Tango will come out and I'll be stuck on an old ROM..
- Should I revert back to Nodo before taking it to the shop?
- I'm a software developer, and I was planning on releasing an app for WP7. Live account is tied to the UK store. This won't affect my ability to test apps on the phone will will it?
Sorry for dumb questions, I'm not too clued up on WP7 ROM stuff
Well pretty sure I'm going to do it anyway as I want REAL Mango and would rather let the phone-shop take the risk of flashing. Will let you guys know how it goes!

i updated my HD7 and i dont have HSPL installed....
just went to bootloader mode (vol down and power up the phone) and wait for the PC to install the drivers, and then run RUU...just like the old days of WM6.5...

Would you mind telling me the display language options now on your HD7?
what to do if youre on DFT Freedom ROM to flash this ROM? DFT team said if you flash RUU i will loose my HSPL.
so is that means i can flash this ROM just fine?

well, i tried that, but it produces invalid vendor id error
Hey guys i have a problem,
today i installed twrp on my x800. It worked without problems, then i installed SuperSU with twrp and now the phone does nothing. i tried every combination of holding the buttons but nothing happens. I cant get into the bootloader or anything. When i plug the phone in my pc it gets shown as unknown USB device. What can i do to get my phone back?

Shouldn't you use the prog_emmc_firehose_8994_lite.mbn file? And please note you have to reset the device (press power for like 30 seconds) every time you attempt a QFIL flash, COM port shuts down itself after every flash attempt.

Then hopefully someone will provide you/us with a compatible QFil for the US/CE version.
Or someone finds out which sources/files have to be changed/replaced inside the QFil chinese package ?
For example when you decompress an original ROM (in this case a chinese one) you find some of the files that are also located inside the QFil package. Question if this is sufficient for the whole Qfil flashing process. So I meen replacing the files from an original US ROM with those inside the chinese QFil sources ???

And those should be device and revision specific, so we must hope someone actually gives them away (LeTV USA tech support maybe? The emmcdl.exe tool is similar to the thor2.exe to flash Windows 8/10 Mobile SmartPhones with Snapdragon SOCs.
thor2.exe comes with the Windows Device Recovery Software.
Btw: THe emmcdl.exe in the chinese Qfil sources is Version 2.2. So i think newer than the one you can download for the DragonBaord Tool.
im in trouble i have tried many things and i cant make my computer recognizes de device as a qualcom, almost all the time is unknown device or if i fastboot its a android bootloader but never qualcomm 9008 can somebody help me, cuz im stuck with the penguin logo or either the screen completely off.

Have you bought the Phablet Cube WP10 T698 and soft bricked it? If the answer is yes, you're lucky.
I just got the stock firmware from a Chinese forum (In fact, it's from the quote above).
I don't know if it works on T598, but just give it a try.
How to use it:
1. Download the firmware I provided.
2. Extract the archive and install the driver. You may need to enter disable driver signature enforcement mode before install the driver if you're running 64-bit Windows. Please Google for it if you don't know how to enter.
3. Power off the phablet and enter the Recovery mode (A lightning with a cog in white) by press the combination key [Vol +] + [Power]. If you encounter boot loop, keep press the combination key until you see the lightning with a cog.
4. Open a command prompt with Administrator privileges and change the working directory to the place that you extracted the firmware. If you're using PowerShell, type "cmd" and execute before proceed. For example, if you extracted the firmware to "D:\CUBE_T698_Stock_FW\Firmware" , type the command below to change working directory.

5. Connect your phablet to PC. After the phablet is recognized and the driver is installed, type the command below to check if your phablet is listed.

6. If everything is ready, type the command below to flash the firmware.

Following steps are really tricky, please read carefully.
7. After the firmware flashed, your phablet should reboot, and the phablet should enter the factory menu. Unplug your phablet, and tap "关机" (Power Off in Chinese), "确认" (OK in Chinese) to power off your tablet.
In case that you can't recognize Chinese character, I attached screenshots below.
8. After your phablet is completely powered off, re-enter the Recovery mode that display the lightning and cog.
9. Type the command below to disable factory menu.

10. After your phablet reboots, you can finally use your phablet and pick a language.
11. You may need to use Interop Tools by @gus33000 to modify the model in order to get further updates. I recommend you to change the model to Lumia 650 since the specifications are similar.

This is very very valuable information. Its good to know how to refresh the CUBE tablet! Now that we know for certain that the Cube can be flashed to the original firmware, what we need to know now if how to fix all the other outstanding problems, namely:
Problem 1: Display position on the screen
Problem 2: Netflix doesn't work on this device.
I need you to speak Chinese and visit the Chinese language wfun forum and ask Chinese developers how to fix the screen positioning and how to unblock Netflix and get Netflix to work on this device.
If you can help me, you are help the entire community of users who own the CUBE WP10 device.
Please help us solve the screen position problem and the Netflix problem.
(Also check all my other threads and post on the CUBE WP10 - It will help you know how much I know)

我实际使用中，有个值得注意的bug，表现为识别的触摸点比实际的触摸点要往屏幕下边偏移约2mm，而且主要表现在顶部位置，越往屏幕下方尝试，越不明显。
具体可以下载一个绘图APP测试。说这个bug完全不影响使用那是假的，只不过没有到难以接受的地步而已，平时不常点击顶部位置不会有所察觉（我也是点击智机社区APP顶部的签到和登录按钮之后才发现的）。这个bug还是希望厂家尽快放出解决方案，至少要在新售的机型里面解决，我自己也会尝试找找看能否用户自行修复。

Hello,
Like i said in the title i got a problem when i flashed a new rom and now my k5 (version A6020a40) show lenovo and nothing. He apparead on windows as QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM 3).
I tried to flash a new rom with QFIL and a rom by shreps but when i start the download he said previous firmware : (nothing) , new firmware : WS and failed to download.
Tried with
rom A6020a40_S029_160705_16G_ROW_qpst
rom A6020a40_S027_160519_16G_ROW_QPST
So if someone know or have an idea i take it

If any person have this problem try to do the rescue option of Lenovo Moto Smart Assisant.
It worked for me and i now have my system back with the stock firmware.
But you will have the stock rom so if you wan't to save your data i can't help you
