so i was wondering what everones thought on what battery i should upgrade to i don't want a huge extender battery either so.. more thinking along the lines of a 2nd battery and external charging cradle or something... ?
There are some extended batteries that can be used without an extended case. Check the accessories section (hinting where this should belong )

the officially Samsung battery pack is out wander how much thickness it will add :
"An official Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 accessory that fits to your Samsung Galaxy S II and provides additional power.
Essentially an extended battery, this power pack for the Samsung Galaxy S II has a 1300mAh capacity. Add this to the 1650mAh standard battery in the device already that gives 2950mAh. "......

sorry mods if this been posted before, couldn't find it no where posted
Actually sounds good to me but how is it supposed to work, I mean how do you add the extended Battery? does it switch automatically or do you have to manually switch it when normal bat runs out of juice? Well I know u cant answer as dont have it either but what do u guys think?
And is this anywhere confirmed to be official, I mean I could sell "official" Samsung pee myself xD.
From my understanding if you can't turn it off it will kill the internal battery very fast because it will be constantly charging and recharging at 100%.
Does anyone have more information???
i was going to buy one of theys, but i decided to get a newteck 5000Mah battery pack for 20 quid instead, glad i got it instead.
Where U get this one from?
To my understanding the extended battery pack is kind of like a mobile charging dock.
When you put it on the phone, the phone goes to the charging mode.
I just ordered one. I hope it works like that, that I can keep the extended case in my bag and if running out of juice I just hit it in the place like putting it on a dock.
Of course I have to make sure that the extended case is also charged first.

Found this for you guys. Lookin a lil large. i think i read somewhere that when the Power Pack in installed on the Galaxy S II it is about the size of a 7" Galaxy Tab (just kidding!)
Gosh that is uglyyyt !!!

I agree with Newtrent guy: http://www.newtrent.com
I don't want to put such a fugly case on the phone... So an external battery (Which isn't so big, 4 inch by 4 inch by 2 inch, slips in a pocket) connected to the phone is my "on the fly recharge" solution. I got the imp1000, 11000 mAh battery, charged my HD2 5 full times before needing to be recharged.

It actually increases the size to about the Dell Streak from what I see. The Tab is a little too big! haha
external battery is much better, get one which can charge multiple devices like notebooks etc. You'd only have to bring one external battery for both phone and notebook device needs
RE: killing the battery because of charging/recharging at 100%.... is this still true? Because I thought / heard somewhere that the newest generation lithium batteries are less prone to that kind of fragility. Over maybe a year... sure... but how fast is "fast" when talking about killing a battery by charging it on full charge?

pre-ordered and still waiting it to deliver
I am actually now thinking about cancelling it and thinking about some other options to longer the batterylife in special needs.
I have dock at home and work so no worries here but then if have a long day at bar etc then I might need more juice on the road..
Hmm, any phone should shame if it wont make it a full day tho. Kinda makes me wonder why this sgs2 eats bats this fast.
Is this piece is available for purchase?
Am I the ONLY one who has one right now?
Looks good and cool!

Are there any Epic 4G extended batteries that don't need that huge cover? Right now my battery isn't as good as when I first got it(which is to be expected) and I wanted to get an extended battery but the phone is already thick enough as it is so I don't want to bulk it up any more?
Thanks,
Jim
Batteries w/ 1700-1800mAh are same sized as the standard 1500mAh. If I'm not mistaken, anything w/ more juice means a bigger, bulkier battery. I myself have x2 extra 3500mAh batteries, and they are quite large

Check EBAY or Google OEM battery for Galaxy S II. Those are 1800 MaH and fit a little snug but work.
I got 3500mah extended battery and like it vm. Really can't complain being that yesterday it went 12 hrs. Before it said it was low and I did a ton of surfing and gps navigationing around town. Only made a 10 min call but it'd be crazy if I complained about the look versus the extra life I'm getting!

I can confirm this to work. The tmo s2 battery is the same size and 1850 mah. In the charger is my 2100 mah extended verizon battery. Sorry in advance for the crap transformer photos, its all I had.
BTW all extended and stock batteries from this s2 fit in the nexus and vise-versa.
I just got this extra battery and charger yesterday. So far I think it's going to be great. Then only thing I wish it did was charge my phone the same time it charges the external battery. But I can survive the way it is!

I want to buy an OEM battery for my gs3 so I can replace it when its out of battery. Could someone find a link to the actual one that you find in shipped devices? I dont want a knockoff or an extended battery. Thank you.

I actually like my QCell 2300 better. Its battery life is equal if not abit better and only 10$. also has nfc
Here's just the battery http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-EB-L1G6LLAGSTA-Galaxy-Standard-Battery/dp/B0089VO7OM
I recommend the extra battery kit though, it doesn't cost much more and it comes with a charger that also acts as a stand http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-ETC-CP1G6LGSTA-Galaxy-Battery-Charging/dp/B0089VO7QU

Thanks you two, I'll be getting both of them.

I assume that its only for the S3 because the batteries are most likely different sizes. But you would have to ask someone who knows
Does any one know is the back covers of N7100 and N7105 are same or not, i mean will it fit on each other?
Also, one major thing i noticed was that the Original battery that comes with both these phones states as 3.8v, but on ebay the higher capacity batteries (like 6500mAh) has 3.7v written on them. But they still say it's compatible with both these phones. And some buyers even left positive feed backs about how good the battery is. If the Voltages are not the same shouldn't it cause problems?
I was planning on buying one of those higher capacity batteries for the N7105 until i noticed that voltage difference.
Oh and one more thing, does the battery on both these phones work on each other?
Look on eBay you will see original back covers fit both.
Batteries are same.
Voltage changes as battery drains its not a set thing, look at your charger it will most likely say 5 volts .... when you charge a 3.7/8 v lithium cell it should be ideally charged to 4.2v it complicated if you aren't into electronics.
Basically don't take any notice of 3.7 or 3.8 .. it will be correct.

More than likely. Just check ebay for whichever battery you have in mind.

In ebay for every high capacity battary (5000mAh, 5200Mah, 6500mAh, 7000mAh, ...) they give a free modified back cover with it.
But after reading many reviews and googling, the best battery for your Note 2 is currently ZeroLemon (9300mAh). The protective cover which comes with this battery is pretty sweet. And your fone can last 3 days + without recharging.
