HTC skin builder ALPHA testers

Hey everyone.
I have put a lot of hours the last week or so into developing a skin builder for sense. As with any software, I need some people to be testers for me. At this point it is barely in alpha stage. And its not compleatly done yet. If you have lots of patience, and would be willing to help out with testing.. shoot me a PM.

Sorry guys. I have a life outside of xda. I wouldn't come and say I had a program and i needed testers without actually having one. What benefits are there to that? Why put the time and effort into making the post if I didnt even have anything? Yes. I made a program. But I ran into several problems. 1. I was using scripts from several different places. A few of which, I couldn't get permission to use. 2. I found a pretty fatal bug in the program. Which I still haven't been able to get worked out. IF work becomes a little less stressful, the family crises slow down, and I get a few minutes to sit down and work on it, I will try to give it another shot. Maybe try to find a way to not use the scripts I couldn't get permission to use. Thanks for understanding.

In the market there is a sense go launcher theme by I believe droidman. It is $1.00 or you can just find the apk. Somewhere. Anyway, then go to youtube and find a video showing you how to set it up (it can get pretty tricky) and then you can use CM7 and find the sense theme. Also, using widgetlocker you can get the old/new sense lockscreen. This is the closest you can get to a sense "ROM" on your phone. Hope this helped!

Xboxfanj said he may start development on a sense rom for the epic again... it was a couple weeks back when he said that and he has been pretty busy with miuiv4 lately so I don't know that I would expect it to be completed anytime soon if ever...

Gtalk is Google talk. It is a feature of Gmail and an app that comes with the phone.

[REQ] Proprietary Binaries

Does anybody have, and care to share, the proprietary binaries for this phone for an AOSP build?
Or know how to get / extract / whatever them.

I randomly pmed times_infinity bugging him for help as well, and he gave me a whole host of more updated files he's been using. That makes him awesome. Seriously, everyone is being so awesome to me. With any luck, I will have a (probably glitchy, most likely alpha) build of just straight vanilla ICS for our phones soon. Its a ROM I have been wanting for a while. I also know vanilla will be a good base to build off of, so, once it is solid, I will be allowing any dev to use my ROM without having to ask my permission first.

Chris it won't boot because it has the international sgs2's egl props to get sbrissen's 3.0 kernel to work properly.

it may have used to, but they have been changed a few times, and have some ff18 props, which also dont boot..

This will be my first ever rom, and I have very little idea what I am doing. Even if all the files times_infinity gave me work brilliantly, the odds of this booting my first attempt are next to zero.

Thanks man. I am still trying to figure this beast out. I don't have a ton of time, and I still am trying to learn everything before I can really get into this. Again, thanks to EVERYONE for all of your support. I truly hope not to disappoint.

I can help build but at this point I can't test anything until I get a refurb from Samsung...

Beta Testers Requested! CM10

Hola Folks so we are testing out some new roms to the sgs3 and I'm too new to sgs3 area and I dont yet know whos who nor do I have people I know with a rooted phone yet. so I can only pass this test along and test myself of coarse. Im the head beta tester for Hellfire Roms and I will probably be opening or Hell will open a thread but I would like some testers as I dont have anyone currently from my previous teams that currently have the sgs3. Please post here or pm me if your interested. We are Tmous and cm oriented if your curious.

Beats me lol, I'm all over this thread like I was on the g2x. I'm down to be a tester though for sure. Ill put it to work too. I have a spare battery and 3 days 14 hours shifts of work with me playing on the phone the whole time practically. I saw Hell post somewhere and he noticed me.

It is a little annoying that the sprint apks aren't in here since it's the sprint phone model, but I guess that means they have an agreement to keep them out even though the profile sync framework would be nice to have. Ah well, that's what root exploration is for.
