Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_Vision
Click on the link for Rooting the Desire Z/G2 and follow the directions to the letter. It's the best and safest guide out there. Do not attempt to use Visionary or you will brick your phone.

i suggest use this guide for try cyanogemnmod 7.1
I assume then that the wiki is up to date and the best guide to follow?
Should hopefully receive my DZ this week.

Use the wiki either here at XDA or at CyanogenMod, they're both the same.

I'd doesn't matter which method of the two you use. Both of them are tried and tested and reliable. Have fun rooting!

Read the Wiki in the dev forum. You can root it yourself lol don't worry. Just do your research and follow the steps and you'll be fine.
Is there a one click root out yet?

No one click root. Like the person above stated, the wiki has all your rooting needs. To be honest, its very simple bro. Everything is step by step. Just make sure and read to get a good understanding.

Look through the dev section. They are about 3 ways to prem root/s-off your phone. I advice you to do the gfree way since its the safest but i did unforgivens way sinces its the fastest

I'm assuming you mean adb; just follow the guide in the wiki, it's fairly simple.

Method for what? If it's a root method, the only recommended way is posted in the wiki here an on CM.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Its a root method not for g2. I know it was first used on evo 3d and some others, but not for this phone....should of been obvious if you searched at all

Grow up and read the forum rules; search first, no name calling, keep it clean ... you've failed at those three alone.

One note, the guide on droidfiles.us, the step regarding the bootloader has the bootloader name missing a zero.

Yeah +1 seems pretty sketchy to me.
The fact that he said he finished alone in one month seems odd.
