Android 2.1+, ROOT NEED
The newest version of the Android Market is here. It’s build 3.2.0 and is from the Nexus Prime – yes, that means it is also from Ice Cream Sandwich
Instructions:
1. Download the file from above (Vending.apk) to your SD card.
2. In Root Explorer, find the file you just downloaded and copy it.
3. Move into /system/app and hit the R/W button to mount – then paste the file.
4. overwrite
5. Long press on Vending.apk.
6. Afterwards, long press on it again and choose “Permissions.”
7. Change the permissions to this. Now reboot and enjoy the new market

I not tried installing this yet, but I believe if you already have v3.1x you can just upgrade.

GingerVillain 3.2 has had this for a few days now.
What changes does it bring from 2.1.5?
Has it made it any more fluid? I find the new market especially has horrible issues with lag.

Not sure what this version brings. But am using 3.1.5 and it runs very smooth for me.

Well it could be less of a hog. 2.3.6 used 2Mb of storage. This one uses 7.
V3.2.0 is fast. I installed this version over 3.1.5 and it's ok.
Can't install over 3.1.5 and when I try with Root Explorer I'm getting message that there is no enough space for pasting
Info bar shows 6.19mb of free space.
Any tips?
EDIT: Unistalled updates and installed 3.2.0 version.

I agree with you, v2.1.5 is faster and more stable,
but the new market form version to version is getting better, and looks modern...and this is future Every new Android phone will have market v3.2.0, so we have to acclimate with it.
For Desire the best market still remain his default. Is simply and fast. The new market looks great but is too heavy and slow....I can't understand why all new cocked roms have that new market...
3.1.5 is working fine for me no need to upgrade anyfurther

I'm on 3.1.5 and it lags pretty badly. Scrolling sideways is especially horrible. I'm using an AOSP GB ROM.
Do I need to do anything before installing over 3.1.5? Such as clearing any cache, etc?

Yes, I think market 3.2 is slow.
New market only feels comfortable with highspeed internet otherwise it's simply crap.
been testing the new market for a month or so, it can be slo on wifi or 3g, but look great since they have included books, movies, apps for ur phone etc

Yes this is for HD2, the reason why it shows Desire HD is for game loft games compatibility support. Just like Miui 1.9.23, they changed the model to HTC.

OMG! i need this in multilanguage suport.
you should've had a dev check this out before putting it up, since you didn't make it, how can you give any kind of support to this rom, when people flash this and have any issues with it they will not have anybody to turn to for fixes, or expect any updates for that matter. Looks like the latest android on miui but since it's the latest 2.3.6 I'm pretty sure is not bug free or stable for that matter. Thanks for sharing I guess.
The reason I put this up is in hopes that devs would check it out. I found that this is the fastest miui that I have used so far. As for support and issue fixes, that I cannot provide but I'm sure there are alot of people in this forum that could and would offer help in regards to that matter. As for your assumption that it isn't bug free or stable, why not test it and then decide? Isn't that what testing is all about?

This is one good rom... everything working out of the box.
Been using this rom now since Sep. 24. This is one good rom, the animations are smooth and amazing fast. Tethering work, Bluetooth, wifi, battery is excellent..no complaints at all..about the few Chinese characters that appear in settings, it doesn't bother me. Overall I'm very happy. Thanks for sharing

The 3.2.0 market was giving me «an error has occured» when try to buy an app.With that newest one the paid/download confirmation button stay grey and non-clickable.Same for everyone since 3.2.0?

I do all right but when i past the 3.3.12 apk with root explorer its write to me that i dont have space on memory but its not logi beacuse i have 2.3 GB free on my SD...

Did you give permissions in your root explorer ? Maybe give it "again" or try to enable Root Permissions to all apps automatically ..
what is the different between 3.1.1..this one have limit sufficient data??

Thanks a lot for the new Android Market v3.3.11.
My phone is S-ON (non-rooted obviously) and it works fine.
Just installed the APK as an update to the version that comes with the phone and it works like a charm.
Now it's just a matter of time to see the ICS update landing on the WFS... ;-)
WFS market seems not to have the Films Rental section.. that's a shame. :/

Confirmed - running 1.66 Euro version, S-ON without root - just installed directly and working fine.
Just got updated again OTA for mine. Same version number but now has film rentals.

Someone's suggestion was to install Set DNS and use FreeDNS instead of Googles DNS servers. I did it and it did improve the speed overall.

Slow as hell here, I uninstalled updates and went back to the old market which is 10 times faster.
But, here's one strange thing.Every time I uninstall updates, it's all ok, I enter in market, and it's an old one, then I close it, and after some time I enter it again, and boom, it's new market again.

The scripts I'm referring to are the install scripts that tells the device what to do with the files. The rest (which I forgot to remove) probably aren't doing anything yet.
It doesn't remove anything its just like flashing any other ROM in CWM or Rogue.
first thing i noticed after flashing that you get a popup message to choose between setup wizard or deafultactivity, when i chose setup wizard i ended in a select language loop when i choose English us it says just a sec and then back to the same choose language screen, i had to reflash cause i chose setup wizard for default, when i choose deafultactivity it skips the wizard and starts, that's the first thing i encountered, i will keep u posted.
This is build is far more complete than the other ICS build. Video acceleration works properly allowing HD youtube and HD flash video to work properly. I am very impressed with ICS. Even at the stock speed, everything is so fluid in a way that overclocked and tweeked honeycomb could never approach. I can't go back now. Hooked. I'm sure you guys will get everything working before too long.
Do you suggest a full wipe if you are coming from the other ICS rom? If not just wipe cache and dalvick-cache?

Well like I said I compiled it from Google Source and my "Real" name is Mike but don't tell anyone. When you compile it, it ask some questions and as we are both finding out thats were it goes. Should have used Zone23 I guess.
Thanks so much for putting this rom together. Now the xoom feels like its as fast as the specs say. No browser lag and I can't find any lag at this point.
One minor issue I'm noticing is every word I type is showing as not in dictionary.

Great job! Wifi Xoom from latest Tiamet 2.3.0. Wiped catche and Delvic only. Works great! Had to reboot to set up my Exchange mailbox. Not sure how to set up my pop mail accounts. Spell check going wild. Everything is underlined. Very minor stuff can't wait for Team Tiamet to release the real thing! But this is a great appetizer, will Try to use it as everyday system. Have Nandroids. Is this compatible with the latest Roague Kernals and cwm recovery?
Never mind,pop accounts set up. Calender works great. Web browsing and mail increadibly smooth. I can*t quantify it but has a very smooth feel.

I put the launcher on my OWL CM 10.1 RC3 and it worked without problems or lags but Google Now would not do anything, says to update play services, but I can't in the play store.

But don't worry, if you really want to working Google Now (I disable it because I don't need them), just check spoiler on down

I can't get it to work. I installed the two files (I have enough memory with int2extV2). When I try to run Home, it says - "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped".

I don't have this bug because I unistalled GE Launcher and add-ons. I think we can't use it everyday, yet
