[Q] Facebook app causing "android.process.acore" to FC - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Seems like the Facebook app causes android.process.acore to force close.
It happens when i try to add a new contact. If i uninstall the Facebook app everything looks fine! The Twitter app seems to cause the same fc when adding new contact?!
Please help me!

[Q] Do you know what's dumb?

A: Having a posting requirement for new users. I understand it cuts down on the "how do i root my phone" posts, but it seems just as bad to require 10 posts in a non-dev section before allowing new users to post in the dev section.
My real issue is that yelp does on work on the virtuous g2 rom. I noticed other people were having the same issue, and I would like to reply to them and let others know that this is a problem. But I have to get 10 posts first. Awesome.
10 posts is not alot...
Get yourself started with this thread. Lol.

I am having the same problem with Yelp. Whenever I open Yelp using Virtuous 0.9 it force closes upon opening the application.

If your looking for an answer to your problem with yelp FC's on the Virtuous 0.9.0, I seriously doubt that it will get much attention or a solution posting under a thread titled "[Q] Do you know what's dumb?" You might try posting in the Virtuous thread.
its pretty dumb that you wasted a thread on this, actually. haha. they want members to actively participate. 10 posts is not alot at all.
there are TONS of ways to participate on XDA to get 10 posts. share your screenshot or some wallpapers - there's 2. Go check out the Q&A section - surely there's something you can contribute to in there.
I realize it's frustrating, but the point isn't to annoy and frustrate new users - it's to prevent new users from annoying and frustrating people who are contributing to the community in general. It's also to encourage new people to participate and contribute in ways other than bug reporting/issue reporting. Not that bug/issue reporting isn't important, but if you come on here, report your bug, and then leave, the community gains nothing. If you join in some of the more community-building threads, the community gains a valuable member.

A: Thinking it's cool to post "how do I root my phone" in the dev section. Nuff said.
Anyway, yelp not working isn't something that belongs in the dev section and I'm sure they know they're not alone in that issue, they don't need you to clutter a thread with 'hey, me too!!'. I'm sure there will be a solution to the issue and in the meantime I'd just use the website.

have a read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069298
I believe this also applies to apps and games forum. It shoudlnt take you long to make 10 useful posts. Try finding some threads in the Off Topic forum to answer in

Unable to Post in threads other than General

I've noticed through my tapatalk application I am only able to post in the General Threads but not development threads. Its odd that I can start a new post within general but am unable to reply or ask questions in both the development threads on all posts.
Can anyone assist me with this? I've tried searching for an answer to mo avail so... please help.

You don't have enough posts to post anywhere else. It's a rule to prevent n00bs from creating threads in the dev section that cause devs to lose their minds and k0nane to post the nyancat song until a mod shuts the thread down.
Haha, alright then. I see. I normally just go with the flow, but today I had some input about a rom and no dice. All is well now though. I think that this post put me over the counter and allowed me to reply within a thread in dev.
Thanks for the ultra speedy reply.

Thread moved. Firstly please post questions/requests for help here in Q&A where they belong and not in General. Secondly please don't bump your post within 24 hours as per the forum rules (your posts have been deleted above):

Do not "bump" a thread more than once per 24 hours.

You need to be patient and give members a chance to reply as this isn't a customer service forum it's just a common interest community so may take a while for someone who can help reads your thread.

Nougats ram management is killing me here
You were discussing this subject here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/help/ran-management-t3653810
Now you don't respond there and yet open a new thread again ? If you dont discuss the exact issue you are experiencing how on earth can we offer any help ! And opening different threads on the same subject is against forum rules.
Thread closed. Please do not create duplicate threads or posts.
