Can anybody recommend a good ICS ROM for the Xperia Play with a locked bootloader? It would be awesome if it way still gaming friendly
If you've read any ICS thread for the Xperia PLAY whatsoever, you'd know you can't use ICS on a locked bootloader
no ICS on bootloader locked xperia play till now.
Hi
Noob here.
I have a bootloader unlocked rooted AT&T xperia play at 2.3.3(kernel 2.6.32.9-perf)(build number 3.0.1.B.0.270).
I want to install the Doomkernel v14.but the installation notes says that I have to be on stock SE 4.0.2.A.0.42/.58/.62 FW.Also the older releases of Doomkernel does not match with my firmware.
So how do I install the Doomkernel??I tried updating FW via PC companion but it says 5 hours remaining to download the file.(though my Internet is fast enough).
Also Can i have the stock Sony Ericsson Rom over custom kernel(preferably Doomkernel v14)??
Thanks
Please help me on this.

Hi guys
So, this was my first custom ROM which I flashed. Prior to this, I was using the stock Sony ROM, which had a "Gesture Input" feature which I used.
This seems to be missing from the CM10 ROM. How can I get that again?
PS - I know there are 3rd party apps such as Swype, but I am looking for a more RAM-friendly fix for this.
Thanks in advance!
You can try Swiftkey.

Hey guys!
What are chances to have custom rom and Sony's rom simultaneously installed on Xperia S?
The reason is that custom rom is way more handy than Sony's but it drains my battery unbelievably fast.
1. So, Xperia Z is supported by MultiRom Manager from goggle Play. Has anyone tried it on Xp S? Is Xp Z so different tham Xperia S it could cause problems?
2. I have read a guide for installing a second ROM via MultiRoom Manager and it says you have to wipe data, partritions and calvik. Does that means that everything (apps, accounts, settings) of current rom will be deleted or will be remained?
3. If I Install an app on ROM 1, will it be also installed on ROM 2?
Thank you for any information!
