Since Mango I can not get ringsignals from my phones speaker when I have my bluetooth headset connected, signals only comes through the headset.
Before Mango I could choose on my headset where I wanted the signals but now the headset disconnects when I make that choise.
SOLVED:
Apparently the ringer gets disabled when connecting the BT headset, just had reenable it in the ringtone-settings. Duh.
I dont get any signals för mail or SMS though.
Annoying.

I am having some issues w/ WM6 and my Plantronics 640 headset. After a call or two, when I go to initiate a call from the telephone (with handsfree on), the call immediately connects and disconnects right away.
If I disable bluetooth, it works fine using the phone.. If I re-enable bluetooth, I will get one or two calls and then the same behavior comes back.
BT
Try to leave the unit on while calling.
So, go into setting, power and take out the tickmarks for 'switch off after xx'.
There's something flaky on the BT implementation and the unit going auto-off. No expert, but it worked for me on my BT carkit.
in my tp2 i noticed that when i have a wired or bluethooth headset conected and someone calls me it only rings in the headphones! this made me lose several phone calls.
in other devices i had , i used a reg hack for it to ring in the device speaker and headphone,so i tried in my tp2 but it does not work as the reg hack is related to the microsoft bluethooth stack.
therefore i m asking for help and also if other tp2 users can confirm this issue.
my bt heaset is a jabra bt3030.
thanks
I am having the same problem with my TP2, the headset becomes useless for this reason.
I use a Sennheiser MM-200 headset, bought this headset not to have earphones plugged in ears all time but only when i have incoming call.
Not sure what to tell you about the wired headset, but is your BT using the normal headset BT profile or is it connecting also with A2DP/Stero BT? That could be part of the problem.
In the Bluetooth menu it is connected with: "Stereo Audio" and "Hands-free"
you can switch off the stereo audio function and stay with the hans-free function only. it works fine, but you have to do it manually.

I made a soft reset and now the phone rings even with stereo audio enabled - whats good for me, but i do not understand why
Hi Faria,
There is a setting in the BT config to transfer "ALL" system sounds to the connected audio device, this may be your issue. I don't use a wired but my Rhodium rings in the headset and on the device after removing this option.
Cheers,
Beasty
I really hate this feature too. I am used to listening to music on my BT hedset. So when I get home I would just take them off, put the phone on my desk and go about my business. But if I don't disconnect the headset now I won't notice it ringing... which can lose in lost phone calls.
Hopefully someone will find a workaround.
Start>Settings>Connections>Bluetooth
First tab (gears)>Advanced>Audio
"Play system sounds on remote hands-free device" = uncheck
Just tested and works for me.
I get the normal ringtone from the phone and the regular "beep" from the stereo headset.
FYI, this is basically the same information as listed two posts up...
On my old phone if my headset was in and my phone rang it would say call from and state the persons name through my headset. The ringer itself wouldn't play through my headset nor the phone. And now I can't remember but I know it beeps in my ear but I think the phone plays the actual ringer also at the same time. But if I checkmark what you guys are unchecking will the actual ringer play through my plantronics bt headset and not on the phone.. I kind of would like that for if I am out and dont' want my phone to ring all loud I would rather the ringer play in my ear and was wondering if that's what happens when I check that. Mine was unchecked when I got the phone.. I don't havea bt headset I use for music just talking mostly when driving..
Has anyone else paired a headset to their slide and had media audio come through it?
I paired my old jawbone2 to my slide and when I was playing a game, game audio came through the ear piece. It only happened ONCE and now everything (except calls and the genius button) is back to the phone speaker.
Is that normal? Should audio be routed through my BT Headset like that? I was pretty certain only calls should go through to a non a2dp device.
I don't know anything about the jawbone2, but I have no problems. For regular phone use, I have a Motorola H500 and I always play Pandora in the car, and have never had music come through the H500, just voice like it should be. (I've used the H500 on the G1 I ordered on launch day, on a Motorola Droid, a Sprint EVO 4G, and the 3G Slide on a variety of stock and non-stock ROMs.) I also have a Motorola S9 A2DP headset, and the audio works as you would expect on it also on all of those devices. Maybe the Slide detects the Jawbone2 in a funky way somehow. What does it say when you go to Settings->Wireless & Networks->Bluetooth Settings->Jawbone2 (press & hold then select options.) If it's not a A2DP headset, it should just say "Phone, Use for phone audio." An A2DP headset will also say "Media, use for media audio." If you are lucky, the phone is just detecting it wrong and you can uncheck the Media option.
It only did it once and then went back to acting like a normal BT headset.
I am going to chalk it up as a fluke from initial pairing.
And under options it says phone audio only which is ok.
I'm replacing it with a Jawbone Icon tomorrow which supports a2dp and a whole slew of other nifty features for a single ear headset.
Don't deal with much bluetooth headsets but i do hook it up to my car stereo and i know there are settings in the bluetooth of that specific device. have you had a chance to look in there?
Bluetooth Pairing problems
I have similar problems when pairing to my truck stereo. It auto pairs when I get into the truck and works perfectly well the first time I make a call. But after that it doesnt disconnect properly AND it will disconnect but will stay paired.
I am able to go into BT setting and have it reconnect.
Works once then bam not connected again.
I have Android version 2.3.3
Baseband 47.3201.35.06U_7.07.35.025
Kernel 2.6.32.17 -Cyanogenmod-g501281a
Mem Info
183MB /418MB
Build GRI40
Connecting to a Kenwood Receiver
DNX9140
It worked fine for my Nexus Not sure why this is happening.
Thanks
Hi,
I own new Desire phone and paired it with BT headset.
Once done when someone calls my mobile the phone vibrate but not rings and the sound is heard only in the BT earpiece.
Since i do not go aroung with my BT device attached to my ear i miss calls if i do not feel the vibration.
Can anyone faced such issue and have a solution?
Any ides?
Thanks
Shmuel
Tap and hold your bluetooth headset pairing - is it also paired as a bluetooth media device? If so, just un-tick that optiona nd you should et what you are wanting.
A few months back my Jabra Stealth started only lasting thru half the day, very abnormal. I assumed it was a headset problem and returned it and got another. Same problem but now the audio on inbound calls doesn't route to the headset until I toggle the BT off and on again in the call screen. Calling out the audio routes normally to the headset immediately.
Also, if I'm listening to my podcast player thru the headset jack, then get out of my car and start playing it thru my headset, there's no audio at all until I turn BT off and back on again.
I'm not sure if this is related to Lollipop as I think it predates that update, although I don't recall exactly when that update pushed out for AT&T, maybe it is all a Lollipop issue...
I've tried deleting all pairs, clearing the cache on BT and BT Test, wiping the cache in bootloader mode.
