Hi to everyone!
I've been around this site for a few months. I've had a h3g branded wildfire since December 2010 (with hboot 02..). Rooted last August thanks to a perfect guide I found here. Now it's cyano inside
..but now i have a problem! Think it's quite stupid.. but really dunno what to do to solve it: today I did not notice my buzz was unlocked, I might have pressed a strange combination of keys and now the notifications/status bar is in the lower part of the screen.. how can I put it in the upper side again? Searched around the web and around all the settings but found anything.. Any idea? Thx
PS I don't know if i have posted it in the right section.. that case.. move it

There's a setting in cyanogenmod settings for tablet tweaks, the bottom status bar toggle is in there, I know on the nightlies it is not sure about the stable releases though.

Hello!
First excuse my English, its not the best...
After reading about 200 of the 800+ site's of the dev thread of RCMixHD, I give up searching and now asking for help...
I have a problem with the notification area + dhd power menu. As I read in the thread, the original market fc's.
Ok so I've tried to install blue market and dark blue market. Nothing works for me, all 3 markets fc after opening it.
Can someone give me a hand?
I love the power menu in notification area. On original framework of v15 rom, I don't like the bar with recent opened app's...
And last but not least I want to thank the dev of this nice made Rom!
Greeting's from Germany
Sweet

No one? :-(
Meanwhile I tried to "restore" the old framework... ending with a loop in quietly brilliant screen... :-(
So, can someone please give me a link to a frameworkset, that's without power menu or recent apps in notification area? I really want to use market again :-(
Thanks sweet

Ok, after hours of testing...
I reflashed the whole Rom -.-
Now I have the notificationarea with recent apps again...but market works again too...
I think this can be closed...and sorry for 2 times reply's from my own.
Greets sweet

I was using this mod for CM7:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1031106
But it no longer works for CM7.1 (because core is 2.3.7), does anyone know how to manually make the bar transparent? Or have the time to get this mod working for 2.3.7?
This is the only thing missing for me on 7.1 now, other than that I love the latest version (thanks cyanogen)! Thanks XDA folks, I've been using the site for over 5 years now.
Bump.

Try this edit definately not my work and I can't remember who made it to give proper credits, sorry. But it is working on the latest ILWT CM7 so it should work for you. Install then open theme chooser and apply.
Edit....just went to find out where I got this and seems now its paid, wasn't when I got it. Sorry. It called Green Hornet
Edit 2--> found it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=914200

Yo, I don't know your phone's details (I guess it's hdpi), but I'm pretty sure that you can tweak cm7 to make the statusbar transparent in just a few easy steps.
You can follow the guide I wrote on this (post#2) here on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1448310
Don't be afraid but the lenght of the post, it is much easier than it might seem - believe me, I do it in less than 5 minutes now...
I've also included a cm7 transparent-enabled GingerBlur theme that I've modded (from kevin2576's original) on the OP.
All this for free!! So go loose on the Thank button hits.
This "10 posts before you post in the relevant forum" stuff is bloody ridiculous. I understand why...but pretty sure this isn't the answer.
Anyway, flashed runnydroid 2.1 today based on the positive comments about the place regarding smoothness and battery usage. It started up ok, but I just happened to check a photo...it wouldn't rotate. I then thought that was weird and tried a youtube vid...also no rotation. Checked all the settings available...the auto-rotate check box was checked in Display....
Is anyone able to shed any light?
I think it would have been better to place this comment in the relevant ROM forum...but, alas, I have another 8 "qualifying" posts to go.

someone else mentioned the same problem in the thread.. so now you can follow the thread for the fix. To me, personally I think it is something to do with the rosie.apk.

Yes, same with me when i try to see Photo it didnt rotate..
Hmm.. Do you have rosie.apk from sebastiaan15 or coolexe runnymede?
Maybe i can try to replace it..
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda premium
Here is the original Coolexe's Rosie (without RCMix capability).
and Seb's Rosie (with RCMix capability)
Thank you..
I will try rosie with rctweaks capability..

Already replace with sebastiaan15 rosie but auto rotate still didnt work..
Any idea?

I installed the ROM just for testing. The Auto-Rotate works. When first rotate say messages, need to press back button once then after that all rotation work. But the rotation is a little bit slow. I guess it use sort of rotation effect. Same thing when installed other Rosie.apk.
Another thing is before that I also untick and retick the Auto-Rotate screen in settings-display.
Did you use rctweaks?
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda premium
No.. just the default in the ROM.
Reinstalling the ROM to reconfirm.
Now this is funny/weird ... after installed, let it settle a bit, all rotation in gallery, messages, browser are working fine without setting anything..
and the rotation is fast not like the first time I tested the ROM.
I already back to my nandroid before installing rctweaks and auto rotate works..
So the problem is the rctweaks installer..
Thank you for your information and testing..
Terima kasih pak cik..

Thanks for the input guys. I'm currently on the runny bliss mix, which is very good. I'll decide in the next few days whether or not to give the Droid another go.
Cheers

came here just right now after a search on google !
problem solved?
Yes..
Use akmd file from the ROM and copy to rctweaks flashable zip in /system/bin and then flash it..

I'm having the same problem with the HTC Amaze 4g, and also the same problem that I'm not allowed to post in the right forum...
The problem with my desire is that the volume rocker is broken. Runnymede and runny rom have the feature that when you press plus or minus you can tap and hold the volume to change it directly onscreen.
So here's the question: does anybody know a sense 2.0 / 2.1 Rom (without kingdom lockscreen) wich has this feature?
Please help :l

No help?
Swyped from my GT-I9100 using xda
It's a Sense 3.5 feature which can't, or at least hasn't been ported to other roms.
But you could try to use volume control from the market. It can create a shortcut to the notification bar. So you could quickly change volume.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA
Oh, okay
Is it just a shortcut or a real volume bar? Have been searching for something like this for some time but only found shortcuts...
Thanks anyway for the help
Just tried volume control from rubberbigpepper and it's awesome. I don't know why I never saw that :O
Swyped from my GT-I9100 using xda
It's only a shortcut.
I know that some sense 2.1+3.0 have a volume bar in the quick settings tab of the notification bar. So maybe there is also a 2.0/2.1 rom with it, but I'm not sure.

Try SensEvolution. Very good, stable ROM, with volume in Quick Settings.
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
Used sensevolution for a day but AnDroid seems to be the better way for me.
What I noticed is that the proximity sensor bugs around in every sense2 rom I try -.-
When I call someone and get the phone off my head the screen won't turn on until the other person hangs up, and that's really annoying.. .
