[Q] How can I flash Android Revolution HD 1.2.1 with different firmware number?

The thread told that 1.26.401.2 firmware is required to flash Android Revolution HD 1.2.1
but my phone is 1.26.708.2, then how can I flash the rom? Thanks.

You need to flash the Firmware that Mike has posted in the ARHD thread. This will bring to up the required version number and you can then flash the Rom afterwards.

Pretty sure it's the same firmware as the unbranded EU handset

Which ROM you are talking about ??... Once you root your device and Install any ROM you will not get any Official Updates From Samsung since your device status will be custom....But if you install this ROM based on 4.4 KK you will get the Tast of original KitKat 4.4 taste which Nexus and Other device have Not fully pure but almost near to it ....

I dont think were gonna get update kitkat if you use stock rom

My Glaxy Grand is running on version 4.1.2. I have already rooted that. May I know install any ROM build on 4.4 or 4.3 ?

Check android development section link in my signature. We have not only kitkat, but more than 7 lollipop custom ROMs!

To flash most of the custom ROMS u need to be on 4.2.2 (i.e. to upgrade boot loader).
1. First upgrade to 4.2.2 preferably ...MK3 version,
2. Take nandroid backup and then experiment with custom ROMS until u choose the desired one.
