can't disable Sense on Desire :(

hey guys, can you help please
i cannot seem to disable sense on my desire. i used to do it easy on my
hero .... settings/applications/manage applications/htc sense/ and then deselect "clear defaults" on launch by default... however on my desire this option is greyed out, and if i just force close it relaunches Sense...
any ideas why its greyed out?

Because they removed the stock launcher from the Desire's ROM.
You can install other home replacements, but they took the default home out. If you install one like HelixLauncher or HelixLauncher 2, then clear defaults on Sense, you'll see them show up as options to choose.

You can also use the stock launcher2 I have seen somwhere here.
A personal favourite is de HelixLauncher 2.. very nice stuff..

Helix Launcher 2 is amazing.

Helix launcher 2 and download home switcher both from the market and you can change between the two via home switcher.

HTC Menu without HTC Sense

Hi everybody,
recently I turned off the HTC Sense but after that I've lost those nice touchfriendly HTC menus. Anybody knows how to make them enabled even after you turn off Sense?
If I enable Sense menus are back...

power widget

hey guys,is the such a mod as a power widget similar to the one already in the gingerbread widgets. i want one to go on my home menu so i can turn on/off data etc.
i no there is widgetzoid and there are small buttons in the settings menu, but is there a mod/add on like the stock one. there are aosp ones,is there sense ones?

If i understand you correct there is a HTC widget called Mobile Network for this.
Add widget from home screen > Settings > Mobile Network.
No idea if this can be obtained as an individual widget for use across non-HTC devices.
I know I haven't been much help. LOL

Theres a flashable mod to get notification power widgets on sense 2.2 but not seen one for 2.3

yeah no ive seen this one i wanted a all in one.
well if you not seen it dan it aint been done!!

I dont really look at sense much to be honest as I dont use it. It could easiliy have escaped me.

i did contemplate ur rom today dan but i think id miss sense to much,although at times i dnt no why!

[Q] Help - Wildfire screen problem

Hi
I have installed nightly on my Wildfire and i run into some problems.
When i hold on empty space on screen or i want to remove some shortcut form the screen my phone vibrates and does not show up the pop up menu?
Any ideas?

Guessing by general knowledge stock ADW.
Have you tried a different launcher or updating ADW from the Play Store?

There was an option in ADW to lock the desktop
I don't remember from where as i have deleted it long time ago (Launcher PRO PLUS FTW !! )
I think if u press the menu button you'll see that option but I'm not sure
