Hey!
recently changed to cm7.1.0-RC1.5-jordan-signed
at first wifi worked fine but now it wont scan and find connections
any ideas?
thanks!
delete /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf, reboot
you can try with this
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AFAN1ZLI
unzip de file, paste the file in the same direction in your phone, with root explorer, now you need give all permissions to the file...

Where can I find this file so I cant delete him?
where is it?
I had the same problem a few times.
Just install RootExplorer and delete data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf.
after Reboot it should works
Your saved wifi passwords will be deleted!!!
to save the pws copy the wpa_supplicant.conf to your sdcard and open it in the texteditor and copy the password for each wifi.
thanks
delete data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf.
worked just fine!

hi all DHD users,
Just got myself a Sandisk 32Gb sdcard. I notice that ES Explorer is not working if I enable the root options in Settings.
I see a folder without name. I cannot access it, nor I can do anything about it. I notice that once I disable the root options I can see my files again.
Searched the forum and didn't find what I'm looking for. Sorry if this question is ever answered, but is there a fix for this?

The best thing would be check if the problem persists with other kinds of file explorer. Then you will know if it is ES file explorer or sdcard.
Maybe defragment or formatting helps?

I did try to reformat my sdcard. Both through PC and DHD. But the problem is still there. How to do defragment?

Forget the defragment...it wont help you anyway that was just something stupid i came up with...
But have you tried to check if you have same problem with other file explorers? Try for example, linda file manager or astrid or root explorer

Ermm, Astro File Manager worked, but I cannot enter /data/system. /data folder is empty. It's just like ES File Explorer without root options.

Well mate i don't know if there is a point in doing this, but maybe trying to fix permissions via CWM might help? I read somewhere that fixing permissions via CWM deletes pics from sms or so...

haha, yea, actually all I wanted to do is to delete batterystats.bin. I guess I'll just do it in recovery mode then.
I guess the only work around is:
if root options is enabled, disable it and then go back, you will see all the folders again.
then enable the root options, when you want to edit the system/data files, for example delete batterystats.bin fille.
Like the title says I'm unable to install TB onto my Nitro running CM9 nightlies. The market keeps giving me the "insufficient memory" error but I can install other apps just fine. I don't know if it's the rom since I haven't seen other ppl posting about this issue but if anyone else has encountered it and knows the solution I'd greatly appreciate the help!
*Note*
I tried clearing cache, data, uninstalling market updates, the whole 9

Nice sarcasm...too bad I tried those methods already like I mentioned!
tried "the whole nine" isn't really giving anyone any idea what you have tried. !
nevertheless, the point of the google search i posted was to illustrate that this is a problem with the play store, not with the nitro specifically and since you asked if anyone else has encountered this problem in your OP, I concluded you are not aware that this is a known problem across devices.
there is a file like com.xxxxx.TitaniumBackup.odex some thing like that under
/data/app folder. Just delete that file and try to install again...

everybody should have /data/app folder as its default. If you are your ES file explorer check on top, next to local.. it shows path of current directory.. may be you looking at /sdcard/data ... not that one ...tap on UP button on ES file explorer till you go to root directory ( it shows just "/" on top directory path )
there you should see /data/ and then app directory ...

Went into the settings and I didn't have root access checked. Checked it and was able to get to "/". Went to data and it was empty. Tried "Show hidden files" but it didn't do anything unfortunately

That's what I was doing wrong! Thank you so much! Got Titanium reinstalled now!
After almost a day of searching. I found out that you only need to replace your "wpa_supplicant" file on system/bin.
First, download the file in the attachment. then extract it.
using USB cable or bluetooth, copy paste the "wpa_supplicant" file on your sdcard.
using root explorer, go to system/bin, mount r/w,
then rename the "wpa_supplicant" to "wpa_supplicant.old"
then copy paste the new "wpa_supplicant" from your sdcard to system/bin.
Reboot and you'd able to connect to wifi adhoc connection.
Note: Wifi must be turned off while doing this.

Thanks!
And the format means to backup and reset device right?!
These problems usually happen because of the wrong hosts file includings so you should delete the hosts file and reboot your device but i am sorry cause you need root. To do it use es file explorer in root explorer mode or any other root explorers you know then switch to the root directory of your phone go to system/etc/ and then you can find a file named hosts.txt there then delete that file and reboot. It should do the trick.

Hi there,
I accidentally deleted the video stock app from my phone after rooting and did not have a back up of it. Now when i play recorded videos from the gallery, I don't have a player to play it!
Can anyone please give me a link to the stock APK?
Thank you! Much appreciated!

Here you go..
Hi thank you. I tried to install it, with a root Explorer too... Thing is after doing so it doesn't work probably because I didn't do it correctly.
Could someone tell me how to install it correctly?
Been a year since I've been into android hacking stuff ^. ^
Extract the folder and place into your /system/priv-app folder and set the correct permissions and reboot. You can check the right permissions by looking at the permissions of other folders and files in /system/priv-app directory.

I'm rooted. Using es Explorer
Any other solutions?
Thanks a lot!

I've just flashed a stock rom and reset my phone,
Thanks for the help anyways, all!

Is the arm64 folder supposed to be placed somewhere different or in the priv-app folder with the apk?
Because I put everything where it was supposed to be and set the permissions correctly for the folder and apk and still when I restart "unfortunately video has stopped working
