Looking for a Hard, but thin case. Nothing silicone. Coming from a Sedio Innocase Active. Any recommendations?
I have the Seidio Innocase II, same as Best Buy's "Platinum Series"... doesn't look like they make it anymore but it's thinner than the Active. Their current line of "Surface" cases look pretty thin, too.

The kraken series for the TB is shipping now in red and pink!

I've never seen one of those cases, they look pretty sweet!!!!
Says in the description that it comes with a belt-clip/holster, guess I'll order the green when it comes in stock, if they don't add much bulk over the Seidio Active I'm using now..
I just received the Trident Aegis case, in black, for my TB and can tell you this is one very high quality case. I had an Otterbox Commuter for my DINC and it was kinda cheesy for the price. The Aegis is what I'd consider the equivalent of the OB Commuter, but much higher quality. If anyone is sitting on the fence deciding between the Otterbox Defender and this newly released Kraken, I'd lean towards the Kraken.
I'd like to get the Aegis case - anyone know of any coupon codes?
What an awesome looking case! Great find I like that it has the dust covers over the mic and cam. And here I was all set to buy an Otterbox Defender case tomorrow lol.
The Seidio Defense case they sell at Best Buy under the name PT is pretty solid as well, it has a rubber covering over the cam that you just flip around when you need to use it, but I had to pass on it since it has no built in screen protector. I enjoy having a completely wrapped phone.
After perusing the Aegis cases, I gotta say I love the color/pattern scheme of it, but I would prefer the protection the Kraken offers, though I'm not as big on the Kraken look. Such a tough choice!

Those of you with either case - how bad is it with lint? I heard these cases are terrible with lint.

I have an Aegis on my Nook Color, and it does attract lint on the rubber bits. Wouldn't be a huge deal for me as I don't put mine in my pocket normally (I use the belt clip on my phone pretty much all the time).
Anybody who ordered the Aegis for the TB, did it have a clip included, or is it just the case only?
Aegis series is just the case... I use it with the Seidio Active Holster I bought...
How do the Kraken series cases compare with the Otterbox Defender? Was holding out for the Otter, but now these have intrigued me.

So the Aegis fits the Seidio Active holster without any issues? I've got one of those already (and a Seidio/Patriot case/holster, and a Case-Mate-Barely there, and a... I see a pattern here, Case addiction is a bad thing, lol).
Check out the cyclops case

I just recieved my Aegis case. It's a good case. I'm coming from an HTC Eris with Otterbox dual layer case. This case isn't dual layer, but it's dual sided, and seems tougher around the corners where contact is most likely to be made. It looks good, feels good in the hand. It does add bulk and will set you back $20-30. The heft of this device with the case is closing on half a pound!
Can you post some pics

I've tried a few including the Otterbox Commuter and I still keep coming back to the Body Glove TPU case. Nothing touches it, IMO.

im not trying to insult because you might have got a better product then me but i cannot recommend the body glove TPU. Ive had it since ive got the phone in december and it my opinion its not very good. its a pain in the ass to clip together (on the top) and the clips that hold it together have broken pretty easy. I still use it because im careful with my phone and i dont really wanna waste money on another case but when i do drop my phone the stupid case splits apart and flys in different directions leaving my phone completely unprotected. Also the covering on the hard plastic doesnt stay on for long and ive never gotten it wet. This is just my opinion no need for hate.

The body glove tpu case is one piece of thermoplastic. There are no clips. You pull the whole case over the phone. You are describing another bodyglove case I guess.
:edit: The proper name of the body glove tpu case is "Body Glove Mirage" if there is any doubt which case we are discussing

well i googled body glove tpu and the case that comes in two peices showed up first so i thought that was what u were talking about
Do you even know what TPU thermoplastic is? Hint: its not hard plastic
No tpu case would ever have tabs
Checkout the Trident Cyclops. They even have color variations. Had an otterbox and got rid of it for that

I love my seidio case.
+1 Body glove Body Glove Black TPU.
It is more resilent to stretching than silicon and is easy to take from your pocket.
Does any other case have as low a profile as the Body Glove? Does anyone other than them make a TPU case? I've seen some no-name brand TPU cases on ebay but they're a little gaudy for my tastes.
I wanna see if the SILICRYLIC or double case fits into the seidio holster, i have the otterbox defender but its a little too bulky for my liking.
don't know about the silicrylic case but the otterbox commuter fits great in the active holster, and even fits the surface holster altho not as well. tpu cases can generally be made to fit the surface holster fairly well with a little bit of snugging up. using that...
IMHO.. it looks like the silicrylic is commuter/active format case so i'd guess it would fit better in the active holster.
The title says it all. I am looking for a quality leather holster that is large enough to fit the GSIII with a TPU case on it.
The Seidio Surface holster will do the job.
Thank you but I already have this holster and while it does do the job, I'd prefer a leather pouch. I don't like having to clip my phone in to a plastic holster.
I am looking for a rugged case that can stand up to outdoor activities.
I tried the Trident Aegis, I really like the design, but the thing is super linty. It's insane how much lint this thing attracts.
The otterbox Commuter is ok, but it is almost too slick and doesn't seem like it would stand up to fall terribly well.
What other cases should I be looking at to try?
Take a look at the Ballistic SG or the Seidio Dilex - I had the Ballistic on my old RAZR and the rubber corners do cushion falls well. Right now I have the Seidio on my X and other that the kickstand being kind of a "wart" on the the back it seem like a really nice case.
All cases that use silicone will attract lint, but the cushioning it provides is much better than TPU or other plastics. That's why I put up with it.

I also have a Seidio Dilex on my Moto X, and really wish they would offer it WITHOUT the stupid kickstand. Some people may appreciate it, but I don't count myself among them.
I had a Ballistic SG Maxx on a Nexus 5 and found the plastic exoskelaton far too slippery for my taste.

I have the same love/hate thing with silicone as most people, love the shock absorbtion, hate the lint/tackiness, so damned hard to get a phone in a silicone skin or a case with exposed silicone into a pocket quickly, but TPU has zero shock absorbing capabilities in comparison. Has anybody tried the Air Jacket Grip by Power Support on the moto maker site? What about the InCase Snapcase?
