[Q] Does ACS like my work???

Because thats all i use/trust...
I wanna join the ACS squad!!!
I wanna be an ACS themer when I grow up(lol wait I'm already all growed up, Im 30 SMH...)
Can this be done, or do I hafta go thru some crazy hazing ritual first???
Do I have what it takes???

Probably would've been a lot easier to have just PM'd mystery or any other member.

In my opinion, yes you do. The way you went after the pulldown ani mod for ec05 shows the type of ingenuity and determination that should be looked for in a team member. Of course I don't make team decisions.
My suggestion would be to sign up over at acsyndicate.net, and PM flyers2114 with links to your work.

ACS or no ACS you have done some nice work. I have nothing against ACS, worked with some of them before and they are very helpful group of people, Mystery, qbking, Amosher, Dreams, k0nane, and shane I have talked with all of them or contacted them for help at one time or another and they are decent guys. Anyways, what I'm saying is you don't necessarily need to be apart of a "click" or "group" to shine

No my work speaks for everyone who let me use theyre stuff...lol I'm just a quick learner. & I kno I don't hafta be in a click or whatever, but to me ACS is the leaders in the epic community & I wanna be a part of that because I want to better myself by having ACS behind me to help me put my crazy ideas out to the public.

idk but it's getting fun lol, I just wanted to see what the community & devs thought. I really wanna join for knowledge expansion, learn how to make roms, kernels, & ect... My brain works in a very unique way, people say to think outside of the box... well I went a lil too far away from my box & now I can't find it... lmao

I wanted to ask everyone here for your help to get the ball rolling to get TEAM WHISKEY start developing for our phone. They just need a few more funds to get the phone for them to start cooking something REAL GOOD.
Now, if you had the Vibrant you know exactly who they are and what they can do.
If you don't just go to the Vibrant forum and search BIONIX 1.3.1. Best Vibrant rom made #PERIOD They brought Froyo to the Vibrant way before Tmobile release an update. They turned the Vibrant from a POS to a great phone.
So can they bring ICS to our phone before an update?, MAYBE. They definitely can if all the source is there. (once it's out)
They took a break, but now are making there way back to the scene.
Now this is not exactly a bounty because a donation is not necessarily needed, but would definitely help.
All you have to do is go to there webpage http://www.teamwhiskey.com/ and click on one of their adsense ads and they will get credit for it.
Now if you would like to donate you can register and donate there.
Either way I hope you guys help with at least a click of the mouse.
Believe me when I say that you won't regret it.
I know we already have some great devs here, but these guys are known for changing the game.

Yes i had the vibrant and it had team whiskey's roms running aside from team edt. They left a big footprint in those forums.

Just a minor reminder TeamWhiskey have left XDA and they do their DEV work in their own forum, so any one posting their work here should be done in General, and not in the DEV section
also XDA rules only allows direct link to the ROM files
and screen shots
changelogs are nice to have, but not necessary if it's outside work
it's a must if it's local in house XDA development

Are they going to support the galaxy nexus when and if it comes to Tmobile? Love their ROMs and were the only ones I placed on my phone I trust them to make any phone zing and rock. Just my 2 cents

On a side note ..
I don't blame them, with all the drama that has been going on lately I can tell why.
Some people just don't know how to act and take things personal when it's the internet and XDA is for mostly Development, Customization and 411 of phones. Not personal vendettas and haterism.
Anyways back to the topic....

If and when it comes out for T-Mobile they will. They announced it a couple weeks ago.
But this is for our SGS2 not Nexus, at least not yet.

That I would love to see one of these for nick from miui.us as that rom (once it became more stable) was a literal transformation of performance on my vibrant even compared to cm7.
I know that miui is a port based system and we need to wait for our cm7 port first but I'm willing to donate and/or in willing and ready to help with the process.

i did test this a while back though! kicks a**.

Here are some pics of mine running... WiFi and Data working....
Can't accept Donations... No Paypal Account.. Oh Well...
Sent links to 7 people and will send 3 more in a while... This is a pure stock port... Once testing phase is through and bugs fixed I will release to XDA...

This guy joined within 6 days and already knows about jalstudio... doesn't sound right.

My rule if thumb: don't trust any new dev that's been here less than a year. How can you develop and be into the custom android world and only have an xda account for such a short time?

DING DING DING!!! I just DTA, especially a new dev that releases a rom within the month he joined AND hasn't introduced himself or given any background info on who he is.

[Q] Paranoid Android 2.99

Yesterday, I flashed the Paranoid Android Rom 2.99. Today I went to the forums to check for updates and the thread had been deleted. Does anyone have any idea why this would have been deleted? I hope that this is still going to be a supported ROM as it has only been in development for this phone for about a week and is already fantastic.

I hope someone else picks this up. I am looking at compiling it from source right now but I am a noob dev so the chances of it being serious are slim and none lol. I checked rootzwiki and he is not on there yet but idk if he might be later.

aw hell, i could cry. thankfully the current build is good enough to be a daily driver. really hope some one picks it up though im so spoiled by dpi control on a per app basis and 4.2.1 i refuse to use cm 10.1 and any 4.1.2 rom, but thats my problem i suppose.
just out of curiosity, anyone know why that dev was banned in the first place

Hopefully a dev will come around to port PA 3.0, which should be release in a day out two. Im excited about AOSPA!

As with most bannings and pulling of threads, we'll probably never know. I hate how this happens and no explanation is given to those in the community who may have been enjoying the work of the banned and have to speculate. The only thing I've seen is that he was banned because he was a "puppy" of someone called "ROM_CHEF". Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Maybe the mod that banned him could offer an explanation? I doubt it.

His work was awesome and the puppy account seemed to follow all the rules so it seemed the dev learned his lesson after his first banning.unless the first banning was for something really serious I don't see any meaning in the second banning.now we are out of a great Rom.but rules are rules I suppose

No. It's bs. We've lost lots of good devs over the years to people nitpicking at rules that where not intended for the purposes they used them for. Then they go on a smear campaign and talk about them behind their back knowing they can't respond or defend themselves. The politics here are just as bad as the politics in this country. I was really trying to learn to compile a couple of years ago and the main 2 guys teaching me got banned out of the blue for using a couple of themed apps in their rom without permission. The kicker? I'm the one that themed the damn apps in question! I didn't complain but some idiot decided to fight my behalf.... As if I need it! I'm a two time combat veteran! I think I can fight my own battles! But anyway, those guys are still banned and did absolutely nothing wrong. So I stopped learning and just try to enjoy the work these devs do before they get banned too.

right now i have aospa and i manged to fix the mms with go sms pro just using it as mms but they show up on the stock and im using camera jb+ for the camcorder but try the other roms to but if your a fan of dpi your going to keep on going back to pa

Once you try PA or 128 DPI there is no going back. Stock look and feel of just gapps is enough to make you realize you have a Bugatti putting around going 15 mph in a smart car.
