Can you name the Sense 3.0 ROMs? - Droid Incredible Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Normally I wouldn't post a thread like this, but I'm going to....
What are the current Sense 3.0 and Sense 3.0 3D ROMs? The list in the dev section hasn't been touched in over a month and I'm tired of flashing ROMs that don't match what the OP describes (or doesn't describe) them as. Call me lazy if you want. My girlfriend is using this phone and she just doesn't have the time to mow through half a dozen or more ROMs to find something that doesn't break all kinds of stuff or isn't even what we're looking for.

Joelz Roms imo are the smoothest, there is ace revolution 3d, but his latest and greatest is the runny revolution sense 3.5, others are in the dev thread

I want no part of Sense 3.5 on the Incredible. It's so slow it makes me cry. Just Sense 3.0

Then why 3.0? I cry at that too. anyway, nilsP roms have always been solid for me.
-My life is a shooting range, people never change-

What about WildStang83 Desire Rom that one is pretty solid/stable/fast

[Q] Any chance of a Sense 3.0 ROM?

Sooooo what are the chances that we'll see a nice sense 3.0 rom on the Incredible?
There is a thread about this very thing Q&A. You know, the place for questions.

Sense 3.0?
Even porting the newer sense based ROMs is an issue now since some of them are clocking in at 400+ MB (wtf mate?). And sense 3.0?

well not exactly Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 2.1 over it ranges in sizes of 250-300mb and Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3.0 over it ranges from 350mb -500mb in size but size isn't really a problem what the problem is, is that none of our ports will boot up past the boot animation or splash screen and this is because we don't have a gingersense kernel yet, we will get our gingersense kernel when we get an official OTA which apprently is rumored to be before the end of june or If we get a leaked gingersense rom for the droid incredible..Or if one of our amazing kernel devs finds the time to compile his own gingersense kernel which is a huge challenge...
well im pretty sure just about everyone on XDA has heard this by now but there is one with gingersense 3.0... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1087421
ummmm Incubus and Joel both have 3.0 roms. go to the development section

yes im running uber kingdom now and liking it so far..its alpha but seems okay. go to developer section and check them out.

[Q] Sense 3.0 Roms

I mean idk if its just me, or what. But its like every new ROM is new Sense 3.0 Spins, and im not hating, no nothing. They're all great, but theres a couple now, and i really dont see truly any difference in any sense 3.0 ROM, and the devs keep pumping them out, i mean if there arent any differences. Are there really?
Are you asking if there are any differences between the couple of sense 3.0 Rome themselves or between the sense 3.0 roms opposed to sense 2.1 roms?

the differences between the various current sense 3.0 roms themselves
If you read the OP's to each ROM you can find very small diferences (Kernel's, ROM Bases, DEVS Tweaks, etc)

yea on my dinc 1 it was miui all day long lol but im a big fan of sense. i might stick with the stock rom, rooted with cpu profiles stock is usually pretty clean as far as stability.

Everyone has their own opinions.
My second ROM would be NEWTs Inc3d ROM based off of desire S and is sense 3.0
My third choice would be inchd which is sense 3.5, but tbh sense 3.5 I don't like as much, I prefer sense 21/3.0 hybrid which is why skyraider is #1 for me, and the look and feel of the desire s port is great. Sense 3.0 is really fluid, I find sense 3.5 to be a batt hog and not as fast as sense 3.0 and certainly not 2.1.
I mean, I bought this phone because I like HTC Sense. I always have, and I think I always will (who knows what they will do with Sense 4.0..)
but I've tried motorola smart phones, and the fascinate so I've tried others, and HTC is where I've been through the Eris, Inc1, inc2, and prob the Rezound in the future.
but like I said we all have what we like, whos to say whos is right, or better? as long as you are happy with your phone, that's all that counts.

my mom has the contimuim and my dad has the droid x2. both lag like crazy on the homescreens and everywhere else. my first phone was the motorola citrus (never again) then the dinc1, then dinc 2 and probably the htc edge once it comes out. HTC may not have the best specs (thats right im looking at you snapdragon) but it has the best ui. HTC sense ftw lol

[Q] Where is Sense 2.1?

I have searched all over the internet to find a strictly sense 2.1 ROM for my beloved EVO. There are none. There is of course MikG 2.1+3.0 ROM, but I am looking for just sense 2.1. How hard is it really to port it over to the EVO? If it's easy, I can just figure out how myself I suppose. I don't want to use the 3D of Sense 3.0 and 3.5, I would simply like to see just one ROM out there for the EVO with Sense 2.1. Thanks to all who have positive input.
Check out warmZ twopointtwo. Make sure you not looking at the regular one

I would like it because the EVO, or at least my EVO was not meant to run sense 3.0 or up. It just becomes slow no matter what I do. Sense 2.1 is what I've had the best luck with. I would not put windows 2000 on my i3 Lenovo ThinkCenter, but I would not try to put Windows 7 on my Toshiba Satellite dinosaur laptop. The Evo is a very capable device, but for my needs in a phone, sense 3.5 doesn't cut it.

I thought that those were, particularly the Sprint Lovers and the ones that say that they were based on stock, as the EVO 4G is not running Sense 3.0 on stock. I didn't see any hybrids when I searched. I did a search for stock roms only. They are running Gingerbread, but so was my EVO before I rooted it. This one is called "Swagged Out Stock". Again, it's Gingerbread, but I believe that it still uses Sense 2.1
The best 2.1 ROM is Koni Elite III

isn't KONI ELITES ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=941055) a 2.1?
I think he is looking for a Gingerbread Sense 2.1 port. Koni, while a great ROM, is not that.
OP, I remember a stock port of the EVO Shift by Leoisright. It hasn't been updated, but is straight 2.1.
I don't know why MikG won't work on your phone as I have mine smooth, but look up Leo's port
Edit: Just noticed that the final version was a merge with some Sense 3.0 features. Salvage-Sense is straight Sense 2.1, so hopefully it will work for you.

I don't have the link since I'm on my phone, but the only Rom I remember that was Android v2.3 with Sense v2.1 (without any Sense 3.0 stuff) was made by the Salvagemod guys. Search for that one.
Edit:
Here's the one I meant, "salvage sense":
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1226578
It's not currently supported anymore because both those guys moved onto other phones, bit its the only pure sense2.1 Rom I remember.

I have MikG right now and it does run very smoothly, I am mostly just wondering why there is no regular sense 2.1 ROM. Why all the modifications? I like MikG I am running 2.53 right now because I like having recent apps in the pulldown bar and 3.0 doesn't have it.

MikG 3 does have recent apps -- you just have to long-press on the "Sprint" to make it appear (long-press again to hide). Pretty cool feature.

Does 2.1 have landscape rosie?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
I don't think that Rom does... I'd say just flash MikG v3 -- it's super fast and stable, and in the themes and mods section over at themikmik.com there is a landscape rosie. I think MikG is faster than the pure sense2.1 roms, really, and it is still consistently supported.
The only sense Rom I find faster is Tommy's Evo Classic (and even though it's only sense1.0, he's added some awesome stuff to it).

I like the lockscreen of 1.0/2.1. Is there a way to flash it or port it onto MikG 3.0?

Ice Cream Sandwich w/Sense 3.6 or 4.0?

I'm going to get an Evo 4g soon from a friend who doesn't need it, and I've been searching for a custom ICS Sense 3.6 or Sense 4.0 like on the new HTC ics phones.
I haven't found anything however, so if someone could find or create a sense 3.6/4.0 rom for the Evo 4g, I would appreciate it.
there is no ics sense 3.6/4.0 roms as of yet for the evo 4g
we are still missing a kernel. we have to wait for some source to be released so our devs can make a booting kernel, or at least try to port one....
btw our best bet would be to try to port the One V sense 4.0A since the one v matches our specs in hardware terms like proccessor speed and ram. so that should run pretty smooth on our evo 4g

If and when an ics sense Rom (3.0,3.5,6,4.0) it would be nice. But do not expect it to run well. Would be an act of god if it was somewhat smooth being that energy and warm 2.3, both sense 3.5 gb roms are borderline laggy IMO. While the devs for those two roms are AMAZING, theres just only so much this phone can do with its limited hardware which is one of the reasons it will not be receiving an ics ota. When some sort of source kernel drops someday god knows when, devs will make it work. Wish I still had my EVO to test out when it happens. I miss it
