SGSII Roms?

Hi everyone. I am just curious, can we flash roms from SGSII development or do we have to only use E4GT roms?

No don't flash any sgs2 rom's they have diff radios. It will sft brick and the only way to get out is Jtag or go to sprint and insurance claim.

Only ET4G ROM's.

Just stick to anything in this section and you'll be fine. GSII ROMs that are GSM based will hard brick, not soft brick your phone.

Wrong.. As a matter of fact some SGS2 roms will even bootup. Buuut no calls,text,data etcetc. But hey Bluetooth works on most though. LoL.
Sorry Skylla hadto correct ya. But you are correct about flashing only from this section.

Yeah definitely a no no. Heard of people accidentally doing this and totally bricked their device.

If you need to ask this, you shouldn't be rooting. Read through the stickies in dev and general then move forward.
If you mess up, getting back to working can be a true pain in the d*ck

It could be ripped out and posted but you should really ask the developer's permission before you do that. People get a little touchy when their work starts appearing here and there without their approval.

I would love this boot animation as well if itss not too much trouble. New to XDA and I'm beginning to get addicted to this stuff.. The Devs on this Site are truly amazing.

And I don't know what ROM you're running but you should backup first before flashing anything.

First off, hello.
My name is Joel, new to posting here but normally lurk around.
I have a question about the Chaos Rom, is it comptiple with Sprint SPH-L710 Galaxy S3 running stock 4.1.2? i read all over the topic but could not find a list of compatible devices ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38005934&postcount=3 )
If not what are some recommended Roms, i dont really want CM.
Hope this is the right place to post, if not Please let me know, im having a hard time finding my way around all of these sub forums haha.

That ROM is for the International s3 the I9300 if you flash any ROM from that section you will hard brick your phone.

Thanks for the heads up, is there a Sprint version at all? i like the rom because of the different things it includes.

Wicked sensations...MOAR...The peoples rom are the ones i recommend....howevever its really just up to what you are looking for. There is definatly something for everyone. Just keep searching and u will find the right one for u. Try different ones out. And u did a great job by making sure about the one u were considering.

Of all the years that android has developed I have still to this day not seen a quick reply sms tweak for rooted devices if there's one plz pointed in my direction cause I would love to install it and no am not talking but those cheesy apps in the playstore either --lol

Maybe I haven't found it yet. I'm looking for a floating notification for sms stock. I've seen 3rd party apps bit I like the stock messaging.
I've seen a couple note 4 ports that had it.

I hate to even ask...

... but how can I use my Note 7 again? I never installed the "Stop the 60% battery limit", and I had it off for month now. I am afraid to turn it on, because supposingly T-Mobile will automatically, no matter what, install a "Brick this Phone NOW" update. At least this is my understanding.
That said. The hardest part is, that I do not have the time, nor the "understanding", to filter through a thousand post, "deciding" what is useful info and what is not. As great as this site is, it is also the downfall for someone like me.
So, if someone out there feels like wanting to be my HERO, please tell what to do. Even though you probably did it already a thousand times in this forum before, be my Obi Wan Kenobi and guide me in the right direction.
