I think i might take a crack at it later this week. it would be a very simplified version tho. doubtful that id be able to make any effects upon pressing buttons or the like.

if i remember, i will try my hand at it tonight and get some type of 'pressed' function.
alright, i found the folder that contains everything i will need, the first 'version' will maintain the same size buttons as the original (rectangular) but i will try to adapt that to be square like the actual pay phone buttons.
+1 this looks sick!

sounds great. this is by far the coolest dialer ive ever seen lol. iphone f*ckers!!!
ok, so after screwing with it for a while, im stumped.. there is obviously more to it than i thought, or im totally doing something wrong..
im in a bit over my head for just starting out with all of this.. ill continue trying it out tonight, but so far im at a loss.
No big deal, keep trying! This is the only way to learn. I'm going to start doing the same once I get my replacement. My charger port crapped out on me.
yeah, i am going to flash the stock GB phone.apk and try modding it again today and see what happens. I PM'd someone that has themed dialers before to see if there is some major thing or minor thing i overlooked.
ok, i am retarted.. i KNEW i picked the wrong apk
its the dialertabactivity.apk that needs the modifications!! will work on tonight and get something working!
im going to work on something now in photoshop/CAD program to show what I will be able to do with it, but you guys will have to let me know what you WANT.
i can either re-create the style of buttons as best that i can in photoshop, or use JPG/PNGS of actual buttons from a phone like done in the iphone app.
if i make the buttons in photoshop, I can give them the 'pressed' effect
OK, im confused.. that screen shot of the app, and i dont know if pay phones are/were like that, but there is no Q or Z on it
here is a VERY preliminary idea for this dialpad..
this was done in a CAD program, so not much flexibility. I will create the Shadow effect to make the buttons look 3Dish as shown in the pic below..
the gray/gray gradient would be replaced with an actual brushed steel texture.
i would also add some type of effect to give the buttons the concave look in the middle..
what im looking for is what people think of the layout. to get it to work well with everything as it is, i will be using the SAME size pngs with transparent left/right sides which explains the orientation of the buttons/text/
i also found out that my phone.apk modifications DID get pushed.. they show up in the 'in call' Keypad, as seen here. i will also theme that one, as it will be pretty much the same PNG files, renamed..
keep in mind, all i did was compress the width and change the BG color to verify they would theme..
the reason i will not just be re-sizing the PNGs is demonstrated above by the in CALL (phone.apk) keypad. the .xml sheet dictates the padding and adjusts it with the PNG size.. if i were to keep the same PNG size for example (140x82) with transparent edges, it would be justified correctly, but resizing to 82x82 left justifies them (per the dictating xml sheet) it is easier to maintain the same image sizes than edit the XML sheets for sure.

nice work so far. very nice. adding the colors shouldnt be too hard now.
and btw im pretty sure payphones (and most old phones in general) left off the q and z. who needs them lol. good catch tho.
yeah, i wasn't sure, but figured i would add them anyway, cuz it just looks weird
just wanted to confirm that was kinda the layout that you were looking for, the rest should be quite easy tonight.. the only tedius part is editing EACH number PNG file, the buttons and background, along with the 'pressed' buttons will be cake (read: SHOULD be cake)
ill have something workable by tomm. morning
currently working on it..
i am compiling a PSD file for the number buttons so if anyone wants to modify it, its all in ONE PSD file..
---------- Post added at 10:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:04 PM ----------
drum roll please.. still need to fix the BACK and MESSAGE button, but i put this in a flash able zip and here is what i came up with!!!
BTW, the look of the '5' button is when pressed, not to different, not quite sure i care for it, but ill work on it a little more to refine it, but it works!
Version 2 after some refining..
The '8' is PRESSED in the above image.
damn..ur good. and quick. theres no way u can just cut out the numbers from the image i posted and resize them to the same size as the .png files in the dialer.apk and replace all the number .pngs? that's wut i was planning on doing (probably tonight). think u can post the work u've done so far at some point today so maybe i can try that wen i get home? or is that not even possible lol
EDIT: ok i realized its not that easy. but i did cut out each individual number. here they are in case they can be used.
View attachment phoneboothdialerimages.zip
one of the problems with the attachment is the resolution.
i can use photoshop to increase the size and make it almost identical to the one in the first post (with the same layout as above, but it wont have a 'press' effect)
the only way i can think to do it to more replicate what the 'real' dial pad looks like is to have ZERO effect on the 'press' (without a decent amount of rework, since each button is different)
I think the way that dialer was created is similar to how the swype PNGs are with ONE background image and invisible boxes surrounding the numbers to respond to your 'press'
the best i can do easily would be 'empty' the BUTTON PNGS (they underlay number/letters ) and just save each of the crops as Button_normal_XX.png and Button_PRESS_XX.png
i can link the .zip and you can extract the exact APK or are you wanting something different? if you do it the above way, you wont really need the PSD's for anything (i included them in the apk for people wanting to modify things even easier)
although, one benefit of doing it the way with just cropping the iphone style one without any PRESS styles and such, it will provide flexability to the layout, as you can shift the first and third row towards the center to fix the layout!
Do you want to take care of it, or would you like me to? I can probably have something worked up by around 1 pm today, ready to flash and everything!

just do wut u do. i have near-zero skill in this area lol i don't want u to think i'm gunna make some advanced result happen. don't know how to edit xml files. whatever u make will be appreciated and im sure cool.
just for the record tho, i personally dont really care about the button-press effect, and i would prefer identical aesthetics over anything. But i'm sure many people would complain that there's no effect on press and who really want that feature. looking forward to flashing!
finished, flashing to my phone right now for testing!!
had to make a few refinements and modifications from the graphic style pad to get it to look a little better. i still have to modify the background a bit to blend in a little better with the buttons.
im using GIMP @ work instead of photoshop so it takes some getting used to..
took a while longer than i expected, i originally renamed some PNGs because i thought it would be easier than emptying them, but it didnt like than and FC'd.. then i forgot to edit a couple things.. after 4 flashings, here it is!!
DONE!! I think it came out pretty good.. no press effect, but mimics the iphone one better than the one made with graphics..

BEAUTIFUL!!!
yet another revision to make it look a little more 'real' and flow better with the background. (rotated the 'brushed' style vertically, lightened it up a bit to reduce the contrast)
Im going to call that the FINAL version unless anyone has a comment on the look

Hey ya'll.
I've been working on a new idea for the sliding panels layout. It is fully functional so far, I am currently working on the exe for everyone, so that you may keep your current layout order and all icons, then have them swapped to the new panel layout.
Below are some pics of what it looks like. For all intensive purposes, what I have done is position the layout of the screen so that the panels still move left to right, but scrolling between panels is done also left to right using the icons at the bottom of the homescreen. You still push up and down to scroll between the panels, but it appears as though it's moving left to right.
I am still going to spice up the resolution of the pngs for the different icons, but here it is so far. In a few days, I will have a cab posted for everyone to download. This is a solo project for me, so it will take a little longer since there is no one but me working on this.
Check out post #2 for additional pics.
Let me know what you think!!
Here are some more photos
Here's the rest of the shots I have so far.
the pictures look great.
im just not sure what you mean by the up/down and left/right etc. stuff.
could you explain?
but besides thatttt... good job =]
easy
Simple, Watson.
LOL, what I meant was, you scroll through the panels just as before, there's no difference in the motions.
With this new layout though, instead of your condensed icons running from top to bottom, I have put them at the bottom of the screen in a bar/slider.
Now you have the entire homescreen to display your active panels, and have an even COOLER row of condensed icons, that scroll as you move from panel to panel. That's it.

It looks like the launcher/panel/bar/whatever in MacOS X. "Mousing over" the icons with the up/down keys shows the panel for that icon. Right and left then work just like they do now. Right?
Yep
Right-O me matey. By the way, wassup beartard, we haven't talked in forever. How's it going? I'll get with you on the im, later.
Hope you like this. We can customize this to make it work anyway you want. This has a bar like you call MacOS X, I'd like to refer to it as more of an "Object Desktop" kinda thing. I will have some more theme ideas for this as well with some new dll's for the bronzeres.dll. You can already see some of that from the screenshots I have.

Hi i love the idea and am going to try it out.
suggestion thought i think it might look cleaner if the panel on top the active one i mean had some sort of border or something to case it in. I bet that intails alot of work but i thought that might look nice.
maybe a light round cornered rectangle of equal proportions for all panels transparent just a faint white? LOL like the original slideing panels but youre setup lol
Looks really sweet so far man, will it include your weather app as well? Great work looks like it will be a much needed change to sliding panels!
It does look great, good job
Good job, it looks great. So when will this be available to use for download?
I am about ready
I have this setup for layouts already. I am trying to figure out how the hell to customize this for everyone, I am having luck, but it's coming along slowly.
I am glad you all like this so far. I am going to make this work with my weather app, plus as far the weather app is concerned I am gonna have to make it have this app be compatible, so there is a lot to do. I wanted to let you all know that the way this works will cause all of your custom panels to be located over a general "small" icon on the bottom row.
What I mean by that is, this uses your iconpaths in your registry, so that you don't have to use my custom made icons. You can keep your own. But since all of the custom panels have the same GUID value in the registry, it will put your icons for your custom panels all over the bottom row and not look pretty, so in order to fix this, I have to put all of your custom icons in one area on the bottom row of icons. If you look at the screenshots, you can see what I mean. All of your active icons will display over the generic hard drive icon, which represents your custom panels. Other than this one thing, it works flawlessly. Unless I here some serious flack about that one thing I just mentioned, I should have this out in a day or so.

Oh right on, well I will be waiting for this. Thanks again for putting something like this together.
Here's some more shots
I have toyed around with having a background for the icons at the bottom.
I am gonna make several different layouts with different pics, but this structure of the homescreen will stay the same regardless. It will always be a left to right sliding look.
Also, I have gotten integrated with my weather app.
Also, I have made some new xml's for this, you can choose from the iconbar uptop, which will have new icons, you can also have one with no iconbar, or one with the topbarnotes plugin on top. All of these will come with a version with a background for the iconbar or topbarnotes and a version of each with no background.
I will post more screenshots later. Got the family thing to do for now, enjoy.

Alright guys, I need some help building my theme.
So I'm in the process of making my own theme and one thing I really want to do is set up my lock screen the same way that I think Aero and Gloss Suite have it (example attached) but with the default black background with it (its a really high contract black and white theme). Any chance of getting pointed to the right files to mess with?
Also, I was wondering how difficult would it be to change the color of the font on that screen as well.
I very well might be searching for the wrong thing too (it is the lock screen right...technically?) So a forum link or something would be amazing help as well.
Immense thanks for all your help guys and girls. You guys make having a G1 worth the smack talk from the iphone guys ; )

There is one XML edit to make in res/layout yes, but the way to get a lock screen looking nice is by replacing (and I forget the exact name) popup_full_dark.9.png in res/drawable. Essentially, you make this the image that you want to be centered horizontally, and then justified bottom, then it fills it with its text. For my own phone, I went with a black image that goes about 80% up the screen, so I have a centered unlock prompt.
Ahhhhh alright I'm seeing it now. That helps a lot Ooglez. Haha no offense Reason but I had a bit of a sigh of relief was it turned out to just be .9s instead of xmls. Whew.
Thanks a bunch guys. Seriously... you guys rock. If you see a theme by me on here soon you'll know it worked out for me. Thanks
Alright I have another question. Not exactly related to the topic at hand but its gonna bug me till i figure it out. Hopefully someone thinks to peek in here again.
What file controls the background for the Pull up tray? The pull down tray im pretty sure is the status_bar_background.9 in the res-drawable folder but I cant figure out the pull up tray tab thingy. I believe its doable cuz I think ive seen various themes with different opacities on the pull up menu but..
Any ideas?
The pull up tray handle is found in the Launcher.apk and is in the /res/drawable-land and /res/drawable-port directories.
Thanks Daveid. But I was actually looking for the background of the pull up tray. The handle isn't to bad to change around. Thanks again though
another xml edit...but its a color value not a background image, except for if you are using the g build.
Stericson
Hmmm, alright guess I'll leave that be for the time being. Thanks for all your help Stericson. For now and hundreds of other times as well
So... I didn´t understand what it´s said...
I mean... where can I find the xml related to the lock screen?? Can I just replace the xml and soft reset to change the position of the hour and the lock??
thanks for help!
S81, I'm not too sure about the xml editting for the lock screen. What I ended up doing was changing the popup_full_dark.9.png file located under framework->res->drawable in the theme folder. Search for ".9.pngs figured out" for stericson's thread/tutorial on how to change .9.pngs. I warn you though, its not for the faint-hearted and from what I understand XMLs are supposed to be worse so if thats the path you want to head down, good luck mate
thank you man! I´ll have a look at the weekend and tell you what´s going on
Eh I hate being given credit for something I didn't do...Just a correction but the .9's were not figured out by me, they were figured out by Damnitpud, if I'm not mistaken....
As for the lock screen xml edit....The only thing you can really change is the position of everything else, but not the order...at least not yet..Any way it's a big hassle for a little bit of customization....
I've got to ask the dumbest question ever, but I've looked through all my settings and cannot figure it out. How do I change the background color of the clock and the task bar from the blue it is now (see attached) to black like the calender is? Sorry, but I just can't find the setting. haven't heard of anyone doing that yet...with our settings...sounds like you would need a CAB to change those. I know there are some for the task bar that I have seen floating around.
Where did you get the ROM? ---> i just got the new official Rom
Is that the official leaked one?
Did you have to flash to install?
What's the Cookie's home tab?
Thanks

It's the official ROM off the HTC website. I've seen so many screens of the HTC Tilt 2 with the colors I want, I'm guessing that they may have been cooked ROMs. The Co0kie's Home Tab is the editor that allows for tons of customization of the home screen and options, it's great. Thanks for the reply and if you find out anything on how to change the colors, please let me know.
I Found It!!!

You can change the home tabs and a lot of the other Icons!
I used these when I had TouchFlo3D on the original ROM, to add the sense, colored slider: Touch pro ones are here: http://tp2.bfgreenberg.com/tf3d.htm
The ones for us on the new Rom is the first link, for sense ui stuff.
Where did you get the Cookies Home Tab?
Thanks
Just Tried the Icon Package for this one, they look great! No more Black and white look!
Will try the slider bar next
I found a few more, that I am about to try, here's the link where I found them:

Couldn't get this Transparent Slider to Work...haven't tried the clock or curtains...
Noticed you don't have a Task Manager in your Task Bar at the Top Too.
This one is Great! Same thing we had in the Original Rom
Now we just need something to change the icons in Task Bar...add something with color!
This one will let us design our own slider with our icons of our choosing and set all the wallpapers to be the same...haven't tried this guy yet...but this looks better, just a little more work than just the transparent slider.

Thank You! I added this, happy to get some more quick link tabs!
I added the Icon Package and the Glass slider.
When I tried the Transparencies for the Quick Links...I tried versions C, BUT it caused the images for "Quick Link Contacts" to Disappear ... so i took it off, I haven't tried version A or B yet.
There are some glitches when uninstalling the Glass slider, since it is slightly to the right, you stalk slider becomes slightly to the right when you uninstall the Glass one.
Screen Shots show the Icon package...gives color to everything. Plus, in the 6th picture you can see what I mean by the slider being slightly to the right after uninstalling the Glass slider....a little annoying...will probably put the glass one back, I was just playing with different things, untill i have time to try HDWalls app...which looks a little more complicated.
Ok, Added the Transparent Slider Back in, and the App to remove the Blue background behind the clock.
First Pick is w/the Blue back ground and the others without it.
Slider is slightly too the right in All People and some of the other things, but not bad enough to cause any real issues.
I Installed the Transparent Quick Icons Version B, and it did the same exact thing as Version C, but keeps the icon Images for Contacts in Quick links, so issue solved.
Here are some shots to give you an idea.
Looks Great!
Wow, those look really good, Strange Shadow. I think I'm at the point where I've kinda got things where I want them, but now I must have that taskbar (love the colors and icons). Which taskbar was it? I tried one of the ones you posted, but I found several icons missing when I installed it, so I uninstalled it. I'll take some pics later today of what I've got now. I think the transparent or glass sliders did exactly what I wanted which was to get rid of the blue. Thanks again!
Latest Screen
So, here's what I've got so far. Was having some issues with the tabs on the slider having a blue shadow/background. But when I go into the contacts, it seems to disappear. Anyhow, I like your taskbar and icon packs, gotta give them a try.

I'm using tsowentaskbar6v3.1(lite).cab for the task bar (cab added to this post)
Haven't had any problems with it.
I went with the Version C for the Quick links, it gets rid of the shading around tabs and names, the photo issue I had earlier is gone now...I think I originally put them on in the wrong order, the slider is suppose to go last.
I noticed the same thing, with the blue patch after a soft reset, but I just go to contacts then all contact, then back to home screen and it goes away.
Now that I look, I am missing the Text Message Icon in this one, when I get a message, the original white message box appears...hmm....that's the only one I have noticed so fare...I might try a few more within the next couple of days.
I also noticed that the reception bars are not showing, when nothing is going on, I just have the earth with one tiny bar, but when making a phone call, they appear with the phone icon, I am going to try v6.2.1 and see if it changes anything
BTW, I have been installing these on my strage card, to save device space, not sure if this is the reason for any of this, I will try on the device too, some time later
Gonna give that taskbar a try and let you know how it works for me. I'm so much of a noob that if I have to change anything in the registry or something along those lines, I'm done with it. If it's not a cab file that self-installs, I won't risk screwing something up. I'd like to sit down and learn hands-on, but don't know anyone in my area. Thanks again.

Yeah, I'm the same way, if it's not an easy Cab install/uninstall I'm usually not too interested. I prefer the easy cab install to make sure nothing gets messed up.
I would do more if someone could show me a step by step, and show that it worked fine with their 'personal" phone without ruining anything.
Good luck, I tried 6v.2.1...it has the same issue, keeps the old wm text message, and doesn't show the signal strength...I'll try installing them on the internal memory...see if that makes any difference...which I doubt will...
Further down his page there is one for Wm6.5... I tried it, and was SOOOOOo excited when I found that the Signal Strength option Finally Worked!
But...the Speaker indicating sound/vibrate/silent is completely gone...
DUDE! I FOUND ONE! w/the signal actually working!!! lol
So fare the only thing I noticed is that the Text Message Icon is still the old white Bubble, but the Signal is working and the battery looks great!
Here it is: CAB
Just found another annoyance, the Volume Controls are changed a bit now, when you press the up/down side volume hard buttons, the image is slightly different, the bars indicating the Volume are now 3/4 the length of the original, with the first 1/4 no longer existing
Task manager and red X over lap sometimes too...but not a huge deal.
Screen Shots...nvm in my room, I can barely get two bars lol
I'm bored and looking to do a Hubs layout on my N7. I use Nova prime and would prefer not to switch. I'm also trying to get Simple Text to work properly. So, I have a couple questions as I've started looking at this.
1) I followed this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1232359 but it uses a different launcher, where you can use "catalogs". Nova doesn't have this feature. Wondering if I create a folder with all my apps in it, "hide" it with a blank icon (per the vid), would it show up like the catalog does in the tut? Has anyone used Nova prime for Hubs?
2) I like the idea of using word instead of icons, like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786323. When I use Simple Text, my word icons are pretty small, no matter the size of the text I select. If I use a large font, it squeezes it to fit into the smaller space (if that makes sense). I'm guessing it's squeezing it to 64x64. I have changed my DPI, wondering if that is my issue (why it looks so small).
Any tips for a Nova prime user?
Hmm, am I the *only* person attempting to do a Hubs layout using Nova prime???
I'd like to know this as well. I also use Nova Prime and I don't really want to switch to anything else, as I love Nova.
Still, I just may play around with this and see what I can do. If I run into anything interesting I'll let you know.
Edit : Maybe these will help?

This guy has done a really nice job with his N7, and he's running Nova, too.

Well, since I had little response, I just kept playing around. I *think* I have what I need. I've only been playing with features, etc, I have not completed this as of yet. But here's what I've found:
I've locked Nova to landscape
Removed margins from Nova settings
Create the black/gray bar as the tutorial states, using Minimalistic Text.
Create a new Simple Text widget, 2x1 horizontal. The action (or whatever it's called) would be to goto page #x, where x is the page you want the word link to go to.
Make sure you allow widgets to overlap in Nova settings.
That would get the bar with word links to whatever page you need. Now, for catalogs. I have not found a way to really replicate it. But, what I've tried is to create a folder of apps, replace this icon with a transparent icon, then place this icon "behind" whichever word you want to show the catalog (or in this case the folder). If you're following the video, then when you're on the games page, you have a transparent folder for "games" that you place behind the "games" Minimalistic Text. Since you're on the "games" page, it won't be a link to a page, but since you've put the transparent folder behind it, when you click the text, it will pop-up the folder. Now, this folder is not as pretty as the catalog, but it is essentially the same.
Now, to answer my question #2 - I was attempting to replace a folder icon with Simple Text icon. Well, this would squeeze it down quite a bit. Instead, create a Simple Text widget (2x1 or 2x2) as described above. Then, it can be resized as needed.
Again, I've only begun to play with this, but I think this should work as expected and hopefully get us (us as in Nova users) on our way. :fingers-crossed:
I noticed you added some links while I was replying - I'll check those out to see what those have to show. Thanks!

No problem, thanks for your reply too. I'm at work now so when I get home at night I'll have a go at this and post the results - if they don't suck
Okay, so I pretty much did this. Did all the wallpapers, which took forever, then made all the text icons, which took another forever. End result, I didn't like it. While it looks cool I suppose, it pretty much gets ruined and goes all awkward whenever you change your screen orientation. I had already thought of that, but I thought, how bad can it be? Well, it certainly annoyed me, and I uninstalled all the crap I put on there and went back to the way it was. It's just more functional this way.
Also having the wallpaper change on every screen irritated me for some reason. Like nothing was consistent anymore. Anyway, I didn't like it.

Did you save the settings and icons when using Simple Text? That should greatly reduce the time, I imagine. Also, in my earlier reply, I suggested locking it to landscape - simply because rotation would ruin the layout. Or, lock it to portrait, whichever you prefer. Locking the homescreen(s) doesn't affect apps. So, I can lock the homesreen to landscape, open my e-reader app and rotate to portrait, no issues.
But, if it wasn't a good layout for you, then these suggestions mean nothing. I'm still gonna give it a try - as soon as I find the time this weekend.
Give it a shot, you might like it, but it just wasn't for me personally. I felt like I'd be serving the tablet more by tweaking it for hours and hours rather than it serving me. I don't know, just didn't click with me.
Hope yours turns out better
As you can tell from the earlier post, I had to play around with the things to figure it out (Simple Text specifically). But after I had it all figured out, it probably took 45 mins top to get it setup. I like it locked in landscape, so I'm good to go that way. And with a nandroid backup, I don't have to worry about redoing this, I can just restore it.
Now, I have to do my wife's N7 as she loves what I've done. Note to self: never show the wife my cool ideas, as she'll want them too.
Just got the fold 4, it's my first fold. I don't really care for OneUI but it's the only thing that lets me properly configure the home screen when folded or unfolded. The only issue I haven't been able to overcome so far is the lack of home screen grids.
Best I'm getting right now is 5x6. I'm mostly ok with 5 columns although I would prefer 6, but only 6 rows it's painful! It's there any way to up this?
I grabbed good lock and installed home up, but they are disabled in there and cannot be changed.
Use folders. Every pixel you light is sucking energy and causing wear on the oleds.
Or use One Handed Operation plus, not sure how that will work on the fold.
I have over a dozen hidden touch or swipe shortcuts on this homepage, 4 are on the Digi Clock.

You need to download good lock from the galaxy store. Then download home up module within good lock. There's TONS of customization options in good lock

No problem! I've used good lock for years...it's one of the most amazing hidden gems of samsung. Why they don't push that more is beyond me!
I haven't found many more. Then again...good lock covers almost all the bases IMO when it comes to tweaking the UI.

I'm already using folders. One of my issues is a widget I've used for years looks absolutely terrible when it's as thick as it is. If I could increase the rows more it would get thinned out enough to look good.

I did already mention that i did this. The problem is the grid size is locked in the home up app.

Try resizing the widget or throw on the 2nd page.
One UI is a great launcher once you learn it's capabilities. It's the best one for Samsung's and it's rock solid stable. The Edge clipboard stores multiple copies, very useful. Much of the Samsung ecosystem is great but it has its quirks I like virtual navigation keys, hate swipe, no problem with Samsung. One Handed Operation plus lets you do a bunch of tricks too, including this. Useful when an app locks navigation.
DIGI Clock is slick, one of my favorite apps. I use as a launcher constantly. Very customizable clock too.

I've tried resizing them but they wont go thinner than the rows themselves, which leaves them super thick. I'd like these widgets im using (there's 10 total, its the "Crypto Ticker Widget") to be roughly half the height they are, but its seeming like this is going to be impossible.
I understand the Samsung ecosystem, my household has always had Samsung phones, and im the tech guy so im always using them and learning them, but none of the methods i've found work for the Fold 4. I've attached a screenshot so you can see what i mean. I do have cover screen mirroring on so the unfolded phone's desktop is 2 separate desktop columns instead of one big one. I like this better and had even more issues when i didnt do it this way.

Yeah there's no other sizes. I've spent hours looking at other crypto widgets and none of them give me the features I want. I already have 5 pages of stuff, so I'm thinking I may just have to view it as a whole portfolio within an app instead, which really sucks.

That drive me nuts having that many pages, lol I'm bad enough with browser tabs. Strange they're displaying so badly; Samsung has a large share of the market.

I completely agree! I have one screen that I sit on most of the time. I usually swipe left to see my first list for the day (asking with a few other things like keep notes), and to the right for gaming and my calendar. This phone is different though... Since there's a lack of rows, now I have to use more pages. I guess it's time to either make my own fold launcher, or rethink my idea of a home screen haha. I think I'll go with the rethink. I'm tired of programming.

I use the homepage mostly. The folder are more inconvenient but save battery and display.
The shortcuts I use the most are on Digi Clock's quad switch or on the sides, One Handed Operation plus. The second page is a scratch page.
My biggest grip about Samsung is that the File Manager can't be set to sort by date photo was taken. Idiots.
Renumbering photos isn't easy either... and that will lead to problems. Canon's Zoom Browser or DPP sure by nice to have on Android...

I did try this but it actually makes my widgets even taller! I like the idea but it doesnt work so well with stock/crypto widgets like this.
When you scroll down in the settings you can edit to any size.
Depending on the developer some of the Galaxy store icon packs may not display or respond to all setting options correctly. You need to test each; if one doesn't display correctly try another.
