I feel like I should know this but for some reason I don't think I do.
Anyhow, just flashed the latest build of CM and I miss the HTC Dialer, keyboard and Messaging app like crazy. Is it possible to just install them without the world ending? Also, does anyone have the apk's for these?

I searched for an answer to this (I only want the dialer) and found that no one has been successful at parting sense out. It is an all or none type deal. Sucks for me and sucks for you. If anyone knows a comparable dialer with that smart dial thing, give me a heads up. Thanks

Most of those apps need Sense to run. I tried installing the stock keyboard and just got force closes. I'm a big fan of Sense, but I'll make the sacrifice for CM. Hopefully when the full release comes out the devs will be able to incorporate some of those apps into CM.

I think a Sense ROM will come using CMs work. CM just doesn't do it because it belongs to HTC. I think maybe s3vo is using CM stuff if not someone else will. I was trying to do it myself I'm just missing something. I'm fairly confident that I will figure it out eventually. Most likely though someone with more knowledge will output one long before I figure it out.

I was curious as to whether a j.a.r.v.i.s style theme would be possible for our phone? I've seen one on an iphone and I understand that our phones are vastly different but I would like to know if its possible? And if so can someone point me in the right direction to getting this started. Thanks!!

I for one never owned a iphone. I'm sure there are others that know how to theme I'm sure that never seen this. If you want a port a link would be great to see what it looks like and to get an idea of what needs to be done

That's all I could find. I'm sure it's possible, but you'd have to get someone who's willing to do it, or contact that guy and see if he'll do an Android theme if we send him the necessary files.

From that it looks like all you'd need is Widgetlocker, launcherpro, some custom icons and a custom background.
Dont know if im posting in the correct section MODs if im wrong please just move it.
Would like to know if someone has or can port the game Creeps. Which ive only been able to play in ipod touch/iphone i really would like to be able to play it on my epic.
Also if anyone can do a MMS mod for stock 2.1 i.e. make look like the iphone's

The first would be something you have to take up with the dev for that game and the second might be doable. Just have to ask the right person. You should add [REQ] to the title of the thread.
ok i dont know how ill contact the dev for the game but i guess ill look around like they say Google is your friend.
My bad on forgetting to add the [REQ] on the title will do right now.
If you're talking about the bubble style text messaging, you could install ChompSMS or Handcent from the market. Both have similar themes

Yes the bubbly style is what im looking for without having to install a replacement app. Like using the installed one. ChompSMS/Handcent are replacement apps and they have some good things about them and some bad things about them. I just prefer the stock one but modified a bit.

the touchwiz mms app already has emoji but they are only black and white like regular text. I would love to have color emoji as well but I don't know how to do this. Also I used that app for a while on stock rom and started getting fc's after a while not sure if it was the app's fault or mine.
