Alright so I love the honeycomb taskbar and I've been looking everywhere to find out how to get it. Right now I have adw with my dock set up similar but my question is, is there a way to make it permanently there when switching to other apps? Or is it possible to port it?
There is a honeycomb launcher app that has it but it's in beta stage still... couple issues...

I've tried that but it's only in the launcher. I'm wondering if there's a way to make it always there

Okay so I've tried finding this to no avail...
I'm wondering if the adw launcher found in cm7 is customized or a completely different app than the one in the market... I would like to have the GB style dock but can't figure it out...
I imagine this is going to be a simple answer so apologies are underway...
Sorry

I recommend just going to the market, typing in ADW gingerbread theme, downloading and going to your theme setting under ADW, and applying the theme.
Otherwise, just goto google and type in under images, gingerbread dock, and save the image and apply as dock background.
I never liked the rounded ones either When I used to got for the gingerbread look, that is.

Thanks exactly what I needed... the rounded edges make it look more like a child designed it... but thanks for pointing me in the right direction

who needs docks when the docks can make room for more icons and widgets just kiddin...but seriously!
I have looked and searched and i cannot find a thread on this and i am thinking i might be barking up the wrong tree.
I run the stock launcher on cm7 and super cm7 and i would like to change the color of the three icons on the bottom or the homescreen and thats it. Colors of everything else i want to stay the same. Is this even possible?
I do not want to run lp or adw. I'll stay with green if thats the case.
If you change themes with the theme chooser it should change. That's if you don't mind switching themes.

Not to be a **** but the OP says I want everything else to stay the same. Why would you suggest switching themes.
Guess ill just figure out how to export this theme and change icons myself through theme manager. I was hoping maybe someone would know a quick and easy way of changing the color.

you should be able to modify the dock pngs in the launcher apk without trouble. I've changed colors around on a vanilla launcher before... just decompiled the launcher apk, changed the pngs I wanted to change, compiled and replaced the apk.. voila.
Awesome. Thanks.

You can use ninja morphology, that's how I got mattedblue colors on my stock launcher. Although ever since adw ex got updated I've been using it.
got the decompile thing down. guess all there is to do is find out how good i am in gimp.
thanks again
Why don't you use adw ex? It's so much better than the stock and you get to keep the gingerbread dock but customize icons and their colors...You really cannot go wrong...
Simple question is there a custom cm7 lockscreen? I found one for metamorph but I can't seem to get it too work. I have it morphed in but for some reason a no go.
Here is what I tried: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=959602&page=85
You have to put the morph you want in the android themes folder open metamorph and hit extract new theme and then apply all sometimes you have to do it twice then reboot

I've never had good luck with metamorph, it seems really buggy to me. I'd like to get some lockscreen customization too, but I just haven't found a very good solution.

May not be what you want to do, but Widget Locker will allow you to do pretty much anything you want to your lockscreen. Using CM 7 you can also go into the settings for Tablets and disable the stock lock screen. It works out pretty well.
Hey I just got the Epic 4G Touch and there are two things that are really irritating me. Is it possible to remove the setting widget in the status/notification bar? I really like having a clean notification bar. Also, I have a live wallpaper and I really want to see the live wallpaper on the lockscreen. I have StarBurst ROM currently installed. Is there anything that I can flash or any ROM that has what I'm looking for? I really miss cyanogenmod
Not one hundred% sure but if you have a transparent lockscreen you should be able to see the live wallpaper through it. There is one in themes and apps.

Awesome thanks! I'm looking into it now!
Anyone try out the Buzz launcher yet? Pretty damn cool! Some themes need some tweaking because they're for smaller screen size, but the ability to share layouts is awesome!!

I just heard about Buzz Launcher yesterday. It's pretty cool for finding and trying new homescreens on your device. I download and tried 5-6 yesterday. I don't like some of how the launcher operates though. I still prefer Nova, but that's personal preference. Does anyone know where it downloads the files to when you download and install a new homescreen? I want to use some of the icons from one homescreen with some of the icons from a different homescreen, but I can't figure out where it saves the files. I thought it was saving them on my sdcard, but I can't find them. If anyone knows the file location of the saved homescreens let me know. Thanks!
