Device: HTC G2
Rom: CyanoGenMod 7.1
Kernel: Tiamat v1.1.3
Gingerbread 2.3.4
Overclocked to 2.03 Ghz

Is that the ring style implemented in the latest nightlies? Just flash one of the last few nightlies and it will be included
FWIW it's still buggy and a little sketchy with the animations etc. They'll be increasing the performance with later commits I'm sure and you'll more than likely see it in the upcoming 7.1 release.
Also, I'm sure it won't be too terribly hard to yank it out and put it on other aosp ROM.

Click to collapse
That would be so cool!

Most stable / fast CM7 Kernel out?

I've been doing research for days and still haven't came up with a kernel to use. Im rooted and running cm7 for about 3 weeks. I have been getting random reboots, probably 2-3 a day at random times. Ive tried the wifi sleep to never and that hasn't seemed to fix anything. I have read that switching to a different kernel may fix my problem. And since I have used the stock kernel for the beginning I think its time to change to something fast, stable, and possibly better battery life. So the more the better, but please list the best kernel to use with CM7 and the download link for it. Thanks

Current setup
Personally I like the incredikernel. Its fairly stable and provides the smartass governor with havs, so you get very good battery life.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=848453&highlight=[kernel]
So your not having any reboot problems with that kernel?
The problem with CM7 and our device is that Gingerbread uses a 2.6.35 kernel with updated usb drivers, among other things. The inc has only officially been updated to .32.17, so slayher had to backport the necessities to the stock kernel source (stock cm7 kernel). There was an effort by several devs to bring our device out of the dark ages, up to .35 for Gingerbread, and now several have branched off to .37
So, my advice would be to test a couple out. They are all still in beta stages, so it's up to you really.

[Metamorph] GreyRemix by since001 for CM6 and CM5 based ROMs

Hey guys,
so I made a theme out of several other themes I found on the xda forum. Actually I wanted something simple, so I thought it would best by making (or remixing) my own metamorph theme.

}
The base is from studjuice's Gingerbread for CM 6+
The battery and message symbol is from sisterchick's Minimal Remix
The only thing I made by myself are the data symbols
Theres just a symbol for the data connection icons. No blinking arrows.
I've tested this theme on froyo by lazslo 5.2, but it should work with any other rom based on CM6.
Remember that I will not take responsibilty for any fails on your phone after applying this theme. Also remember to do a backup!
I hope you enjoy it like I do
Now also for SuperE / CM5. See attachments.
yes first post can it be flashed over super e???
the zip isnt flashable. you have to apply it with metamorph from the market. and for now it is only compatible with cm6 based roms.
i see u have updated for eclair thats great coz i am currently rocking super e going to give it a try
one request could you also include fonts in the metamorph file??????

Codename Android Is BACK!!!!

Codename Android IS Back!
Codename Android 3.0.0 JellyBean
Codename Android is a rom that focuses on speed, usability, and getting every feature that I can get CRAMMED in there. This rom will include features from all over (credit given of course). This is simply something I wanted to share that I thought would be fun to put together, and have worked hard on making all of the features play together nicely and organized them in such a way that they would be very easy to use. Codename Android is back and releasing roms again, have fun, flash away.
Side-note: Codename Android is an open source project, but due to the spontaneity of the posting of the rom, full, compilable source will be released on the github within a day or two.

First there is already a thread for this.

Second give that thread a read for a bit of insight regarding CNA, I for one will not be supporting that rom

http://forum.meizu.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=47
hopefully someone on here can port it
doesn't the video say it's 2.3.5 based, i think that would be great since gingerbread seems to have the least bugs, not to say or developers haven't contributed immensely to the functionality of ics and jb
i have a link to the gb based one ill post it for you, but i thought ill just provied the latest
Good Eugene can probably gets his magic hands into this. He is the one the have ported roms based on cm like this one
Hi OP can i get the link for gb, I've got some one interested in porting, thanks
gingerbread (2.3.5 i think ) - http://download.meizu.com/Firmware/mxhk/10949/update.zip , im pretty sure this is gb cause the buildprop says 2.3.5 in this one.
I like how clean it looks; not to mention the notification bar.

Any ideas on what would be the absolute best base?

So all you have is an idea of ROM? When is release planned?
Love the way this sounds and love the name can't wait to give it a go upon release
Also just make sure it's the most up to date Samsung apps... As well as having some note 2 features like the camera and ink effect
