how do you tell what radio you have ?
never mind I found it
i have UK SPV M700 with GPS enabled out of the box.
with Radio ROM 1.30.00.01.
I have flashed to Mun_Rus 2.00.SE
GPS works fine even though im only on Radio 1.30.00.01
do i REALLY need to upgrade & if i do what benefits will i see?
im starting to think if its not broke dont fix it!
The lastest one, that is reported stable, is 1.38. 1.41 is beeing tested.
Are you sure that it's 1.30.00.01 ?
Because only Radio finishing by 11 have gps. That's what I understood

No, only x.xx.xx.x1 have GPS

Hi, Please help me!!!!! Ive just done a rom upgrade and unlocked the phone.
The radio version is now: 1.16.00.00, I can't remenber what the old version was. When i load tomtoms v6 it keeps showing No GPS device!......Is there anything i can do to sort out this problem....(Going MAD).
Gps receiver selected: other NMEA GPS receiver
Gps baudrate: 9600
Com3:
GPS in COM9
COM7:
RIL on COM6:
S2410 IRDA
Also is there any way of going back to my original radio version?

you need to udpate the radio rom! look in the trinity section i think it might be under rom developement. this is a good source of info anall: www.trinityguides.info

you should be able to find to find a back up of both the Orange stock ROM and radio in the trinity section. i downloaded mine from there

Still no no GPS device even after Rom upgrade.........I wish I did'nt bother...............

Could someone direct me to a rom which install radio other than new Radio (4.1.13.51_03.07.90)
Upgraded to miui v6 yesterday and while testing everything , realized that the radio app on it is actually just an online radio thing and does not support FM radio.
Am I missing something (it's in mandarin I think so possible) if not any idea of a radio app that could work?
It supports fm radio.... But tries to get onl9 channels..... So connect to internet... Then u will get the options for fm.... Too... Chill out.. ?
