I keep getting a message saying flash isn't available due to cold weather or using wifi router. Its hot here and I'm not using wifi router. Is it because I'm on 4g?

Has anyone had issues receiving mms on this rom? I've started noticing that the ones I receive just keep saying downloading... I've updated prl and profile and all that good stuff... on ics, the pictures come in no problem... so far everything on this rom works except receiving mms... any solutions? Thanks in advance..

Galaxy S3 rooted, need Wi-Fi tethering advice
I'm a new & proud owner of this phone, and thanks to advice found on this website, owner of a rooted S3 in less than 30 minutes. But I've been trying all the suggestions for setting up a Wi-Fi tether to little avail.
I just downloaded & installed the mod version that was the last suggestion made. It installed fine, and actually shows up as a SSID but I cannot get my laptop or my old EVO 4G phone to actually connect to it. I left the settings on default, other than changing the password of course.
Any suggestions or hints?
Lee
Link that I have posted, still working and my S3 is working with tether app. I have been using my laptop and other devicec without any issue.

JellyBean: Wifi turning on by itself [Solved]

Here is something new for the last few days, my wifi keeps turning on by itself. Im on stock GB27. This happening to others?
I believe i found the reasons why. Sprint Optimizer

That is the reason why, I was using an app while running stock that would keep the wifi off until I switched to cm10.1 wild in the night, no longer have that issue

Have you tried this clearing the cache from Pandora? - (Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Pandora > Clear cache).

Yes, I have actually multiple times. But it never works. Would a proxy work.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. Have you tried downloading a previous version of Pandora? Maybe it updated and is conflicting now.

I've tried the latest doesn't work. And a version 1.7.1 neither work. But if I load it on 3g and switch over to WiFi. Then it will go for maybe 15 minutes and won't load up again.

Does Pandora work with other devices on same network? Maybe the port is blocked on the network? That's where I would start if it's at work especially
Edit: reread original post disregard

Yes it works on every other device. Even iPhones

I have the same issue where I work. I was able to get Pandora running by using a proxy address under my WiFi settings. After the proxy and port info was entered, everything worked fine. Hope this info can help you.

Thanks. Now I know I'm not the only one. If you wouldn't mind telling me where you got the proxy address or website you got it from.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
The proxy address was from the tech guys at the business I work for.
