Here are the update tools (64/32 bit). I think that's what you need.
Thanks, Man. I was getting frustrated searching... I still can't get the damn OEM.cab.pks file on my Focus...

First of all, Welcome to XDA I'd be glad to help you with your phone, Im presuming you want to run Android on your TouchPro2. to get the Android Market you must load Android on your phone.
Here is the TouchPro2 forum with information on Android Development, if youre new to flashing phones and the like I can help or maybe your friend that suggested this site can help you. here is a thread with info on it.
If you need any help private message me or reply in this thread.
Yes i would like android on my phone, the problem is i am also new to the whole froum thing too!
I'm trying to fix my cousin's galaxy nexus that was bought new a few months ago. It's jus that after the recent system update, his whole phone has become sluggish, and it doesn't feel right. I must admit that I've never owned an Android device (neither has he) so we both really don't know how to fix it or restore the phone. I looked in the development section but its just so overwhelming, not sure what I should be looking for or trying out..
Can someone please point this beginner in the right direction? I read that the latest update was causing problems and people installed the "stock version" on their phones, which made it better, but I don't know I how I would go about doing that.
I'd appreciate some feedback thanks!
Android version: 4.2.1
Do you need the baseband, kernel version, build number?
This isn't a support site so you're going to need some self reliance.
This is a good starting point.

I know this is not a support site but this is the section to ask for help, isn't it? I read through that sticky but it doesn't necessarily explain how I would go about restoring me phone to install a stock copy of the latest Android..I really don't want to mess up this phone so that is why I want to confirm everything before I try to load something onto it.
If you scroll to the 2nd post in that thread there's a link to a guide to return to stock as well as a guide to root.

Sure it is.
The NooB backlash is coming from users who have walked in the development shoes and is directed mainly at those who don't care for the journey but just want the end result or destination.

Let me be very clear on this: IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT UNDERSTANDING THE JOURNEY THEN YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN'T BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Basically you have not browsed the forums at all

Best way to make it quick is to earse everything like I did after owning my Nexus for 1 yr. Back up everything that needs backing up on a computer.
But the New 4.2 update is pretty heavy and causes lag. Also having low storage space can cause it to slow down too I think.
Here's what I recommend. Root it. Have u done that yet? If not I'll help. It's REALLY easy. Only four commands(I believe) and a driver for adb and fastboot and the SUfile and the recovery.img.
This will EARSE everything. So you'll be fresh. And then put ur freshly backed up stuff back on the phone.

If I have helped you.... hit that sexy thanks button. ^_^

Of course, ASUS-Support won't encourage you to root, so they won't help you.
Don't forget: for EVERY Android device ever made, there is a way to root it. You just have to use the right method.
I looked on the internet, there are no specific root methods for your tablet, so you need a universal method.
Try SRSRoot, browse for it, download and install. Just try, it won't harm your device.
But before rooting don't forget: Are the proper drivers installed? Is USB-Debugging enabled?
Those 2 things must be done before rooting.
Hope this helps you with rooting your ASUS Fonepad.
SRSRoot - does not work
OneClicRoot - does not work
Framaroot 1.6.1 - does not work
Kingo Android root - does not work
we must looking for something else.

Now, does anyone know when the damn thing will be available in the UK? Asus won't tell me. No-one will tell me. Or maybe someone's took a chance and bought from Germany or Taiwan...

Oh right, I guess botto00 will create root for 372 if asked politely. I suppose the second method (Cydia Impactor) is the same.
If I couldn't root 372 I wouldn't bother buying it.
Thanks for your posts. I hope there would be a possibility to root that device, soon.
I need a way to make a complete backup.
NEW ASUS Fonepad 7 (me372cg) (k00e)
are you tellin me ASUS is more sophisticated than Samsung devices?
Ähh I will say it so:
Samsung is good in repairing their devices. ... Other Manufacturers don't need to be that.

Hello Gang,
Please help me, I upgraded the D851 to Lollipop v5.0.1 and cannot find anywhere how to root this thing...I have found some mention of using a MAC but no clear directions...I am quite frustrated at the upgrade as it stifles the new UI with the LG UI...I would like to either install a new ROM or just go to town with the mods available...any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks.

I've been on this Tab 3 forum for over 2 years and you are the first and only person that I have seen mention anything about a T215. It is obviously not a very popular variant of this device. Good luck.
