Is there any way to get rid of the default cursor indicator thingy when on my keyboard? It covers the "w" every time I open the onscreen keyboard and a lot of messages start out with "w" so I have to wait for that damn thing to disappear before I can start my message. Swype won't recognize the "w" either when this thing covers it.
example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
That's weird,I don't have cursor like that on mine.

Usually, the cursor doesnt appear until you touch the text field. If you touch it twice, it pops up

Not so in my case. I click on the conversation thread and when the keyboard pops up that thing is already there. I don't have to click twice to make it happen.
bump, same issue
What rom/theme are you on? Can't tell because the screenshot colors are inverted.

Any idea why there is that blue bleed on the right, next to Sent?
It's only hit me today, but I kept thinking there was something wrong with my screen so I installed screenshot to double check.
What's everyone else using for Pop3 mail?
Maybe Im wrong, but isnt that horizontal menu scrollable (right to left and vice versa)? So the blue bleed means there are more option, which are currently hidden.

Absolutely, it is scrollable.
It's the way that it appears to "bleed". If you pull it across, it doesn't look much better.
Considering the screen and how well it can deal with perfect graphics, this app just looks cheap and nasty.
That's the way it tells you that you need to pull it left for more tabs to appear.
Hey guys
Whats the app called where you can get side icons round the screen? I think there usually word icons, text, email etc

Anyone else notice this one? Whilst typing the text doesn't actually show. In the screen I'd just typed "we're" as you can see in the predictive box above the keyboard. The text isn't showing though.
Had this about three times over last week. Not seen any other threads on it but sorry if this is a repost.

I've had that problem on a few Android phones. All you should have to do is close out of the messaging app and then reopen it. Also, I just remembered that I had this issue on my Xoom as well. It kind of sucks when it happens, too. It seems like they don't really know about it or how to fix it or something.
Doesn't seem limited to messaging. Apparently tapatalk does it too. Its pretty confusing. Especially when drunk...

I am having some frustration with the stock music player. I can not, for the life of me, figure out how to get back to the album/artist/playlists screen after selecting a song.
I want to go from here

This works, but not when going in from the homescreen widget. When I hit back from the widget it just goes back to homescreen for me

This dose work to get the list on top, thank you
I hope one of you can assist me with this:
I don't like how much space the keyboard takes up, but I really like the samsung keyboard.
Exhibit A:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If you change the keyboard type to one handed operation, it makes the keyboard smaller and shifts it to the side but it still takes up the same amount of screen real estate.
Exhibit B:
Lastly you can switch to the floating keyboard which is the perfect size but it sits on top of whatever window you are using obscuring information. As such it does more harm than good.
Exhibit C:
(You can select the floating keyboard by long holding on the settings button on the keyboard and then clicking the icon all the way to the right)
What i propose is a version of the stock keyboard that has the same Height as the floating keyboard but docked to the bottom of the screen so that apps reposition correctly. Is there any way to accomplish this? Also is there any way to reduce the size of those huge headers in the conversations? Perhaps even a shorter text field in the messaging app would help as well.
