Just flash the Global Generic version. Since most of the Xperia Arc are not from service providers they are sold separately there won't be any customizations. Global Generic version has Indian language (Hindi) support as well.
oh thank u for that reply.
Is it possible to reinstall the completely stock rom for the xperia Arc S after I've unlocked my bootloader and tried several custom roms? like Miui and CM.
Thank you

Yes, you can install stock rom without any problems.
And where can I get it? the links I saw in a different thread are all broken...
If anyone who has the Rom could host it somewhere I would appreciate it

You can use flashtool programm you will find the firmware in the thread just search it and flash whatever firmware you want you can't update via ota/pc if bootloader is unlock(first you must locked again) or if you change something from /system
i hope i help you.
Thing is I dont have the fw I want, only have custom roms, and all the links are broken (they were from multiupload), so I would like someone to upload them again.
Thank you all for your help

It looks useful for all who's lookin for the original ROM.
Thanks guys, that worked perfectly.
One last question is Waton server always updated? I mean do they supply all the new roms? ICS is coming out soon for the xperia arc s
I have wiped all my system & dont have backup.
I Have Xperia Arc S LT18i
SI 1254-9037
But could not find the exact firmware sor SI 1254-9037 (this is Saudi Arabia sales item)
I found below ones to download, whic one will be proper for Turkey? And will it be a problem to flash?
4.1.B.0.587
Generic Trade Central Europe 1 (4.0.4) (1254-2716)
or
4.1.B.0.431
Generic Trade Turkey (4.0.4) (1254-2233)
Central Europe is made up of the following.....
Germany
Poland
Czech Republic
Slovakia
Switzerland
Austria
Slovenia
Hungary
But it will work on your device (its the update to 4.1.B.0.431)
If you want your fone back to original then stick with the Generic Trade Turkey file as Im not sure if you've had the update over there yet
Thank you wolf_b
indeed, this phone comes from Saudi Arabia
SI 1254-9037 (this is Saudi Arabia sales item) But also have Turkish language option.
But I couldnt find anything original about it, neither gingerbrea nor ICS.
So I just want to be sure, if anything negative will be happen if I flash a different SI distribution.
This is the question: If no problem, I downloaded Generic Trade Central Europe 1 (4.0.4) (1254-2716),
this is the latest ICS update of Sony. I guess it will also have Turkish Option!
What do you suggest?

If you go to the other forums under Xperia Arc General and go to the sticky posts at the top. The one you are looking for is "ARC/ARC S (ROOT.FTF&.IMG)4.1.A.0.562 ICS+Flashtool+Ringtones+Other" and in this posts you will see all the different images available. Download the LT15i 4.0.2.A.0.62 Generic Global World ftf file. There is nothing on the UK version that is required for to have that one and that one only. All other UK users, including me use the global generic one.
What I'm trying to say is that you gain nothing by using a UK version. There is no extra features on it that isn't covered by the global one.

It sounds to me, like you are talking about LT15i 4.1.B.0.431 Generic World FR, which was the first offical ICS for Arc that appeared about a fortnight ago.
The OP is talking about LT15i 4.0.2.A.0.62, which is Gingerbread.
OP, if you really want LT15i 4.0.2.A.0.62 Generic World UK: http://uploaded.to/file/26z1n4ys
It is in this thread from the "General" section along with all the other official Sony FTFs:

Hi,
Do you guys know where to find the Singapore stock rom? Checked SamMobile, but no luck there. Thanks!
Singapore shares the same rom as Malaysia.

Nice to know this. But the Malaysia roms found on SamMobile are branded for certain carriers. Is there a brand-free rom somewhere?

U can also take a look at http://samsung-updates.com/gt-i8150-galaxy-w/
the latest firmware is still DXLC1 for malaysia and singapore. The carriers are compatible for singapore too. I always travel around singapore and malaysia. It works perfectly. (I am using Hybrid2 ROM with DXLC1 baseband.)
You also can use DXLC1 with XSE Region code (Indonesia). It's not carrier locked.
Thanks a lot, guys!
