[tutorial] For those with omnia 7 not getting mango\drivers

i have an omnia 7 t mob germany branded and was eagerly waiting for mango..my device was on 7oo8 pre nodo build.. i wasnt able to update to nodo with zune for whatever reasons.. but i thought of giving it a miss.. when mango was released yesterday i was sad to note that i dint get the update..did a lot of research on it and now i have official mango with all samsung drivers.. heres how
1)because i was on 7.0.7008, i had to first update to nodo ( which zune was not doing).. so i had to do it.. i went to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131891 and downloaded the NoDo rom and flashed it to device using flash tool (guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=973420)
2) now i was on nodo , i connected my device to zune for mango updates.. but it said my software was up to date.. so i had to force update mango.. what i did was, i went this link http://koolmobile.net/windows-phone-7-mango-7720-rtm-leakedhow-to-install/ and installed beta test zune software and updated my phone to mango beta 1 using it..
3) now i had mango beta 1 (7403) on my phone.. after this step everything was seamless.. zune updated itself.. then it told me that i had a new software update (final build 7720)..it installed it.. then it installed another update (beta clean up) and lastly samsung update of drivers..
4) there u go..full mango goodness with updated drivers
finally u shud have this..

I'm currently on 7392. I was wondering that if I would use your method by first going to the beta and then getting the official update... do I actually have to backup my NoDo files because I'm not going back to it never
Edit: Nevermind, I can't find the required files anywhere to actually do this.... I just want my Mango!

it may work.. but I would still suggest u to flash the nodo firmware I mentioned above before updating to mango beta..

I'm already on NoDo 7392. I just can't find that damn file to even try to get to Mango RTM. I read that tutorial, and both links that are there are broken so I can't download the files...

Update to 8779 in Zune software....3 different updates

:laughne update for tango...one for security update...last one is Nokia update no other info????

Correct. That's the latest. And the Radio is now 2.1.75.22 (also updated).

How can I get the updated version officialy from Zune? I am from UK though so I doubt I can flash AT&T one.
P.S No Update found on Zune but I do get can't connect to internet connection on your phone or something.

why i cant find any phone update for my phone?
is it because i have up-to-date version (i dont think so)?

Looks like your OS, FW and Radio are all 1 version behind. Bootloader didn't change.
Current:
OS: 7.10.8779.8
FW: 2175.2301.8779.12223
Radio: 2.1.75.22
I have seen word of a slightly newer firmware, but that's not verified.
Have you plugged your phone into a PC running Zune software?

i always conenct it to zune everyday to check for update and turn on phone update setting , but it always up-to-date.
where i can get newest update? is it because the region problem?

i sent my Lumia 900 for repair, as it was having some hang issues as i droped it. nokia changed my screen and microphone and also updated OS to 7.10.8779.8

so, can i just send my lumia to nokia and ask them to update OS for me? or i can update it my self? i try to installing nokia care suite and it said my software is not upgradeable.. and for the new software is 2175.1601.8773.12141

According to the image you posted, you have a newer version installed on your phone than the Nokia Suite is showing. It appears you are ahead.
PS: When posting a photo like that, you should probably try to black out the IMEI number. I don't know if it's still being done, but in the past, people would use your IMEI number to clone another device. Would not hurt to black out the MAC also.

I just noticed that your OS and Firmware are out of sync. They should both be 8773 or 8779. How did that happen? Your 8779 Firmware may be indicating that the 8779 OS is already there. Hence, your phone may think it's up to date.

for the first time,the seller tell me its better to create new email account according to use registered account, i created new one.. but after that i reset the phone from about setting.. and i use the account that i already created... and i get phone update from zune without update info..
how i fix this? how if i update/downgrade it from nokia suite and then update it from zune?

anyone can help me through this??

I just got an update changing firmware to *.12301 as well...

zune shows me i already have the lastest update.. and nokia pc suite shows me previous version..

I've got what I believe is the full update of the 7.8 push for the ATT version of the Lumia 900 These are the version numbers I'm seeing. Anyone seeing different? (i.e. newer)

(I would expect that some of the hardware revs might be different as this was a relatively early production phone)

Thanks for confirm though. I hadn't seen any full version list yet from the MS-Update method so I though I'd stick it up here.
Update process went pretty smoothly for me. 1st two updates were O/S (with the 2nd being the 7.8 build) with the 3rd being the Nokia-specific hardware update. The Nokia update choked the 1st time, but after I freed up 2GB of storage it ran fine.

My pleasure - thanks for posting this! I re-read what I posted, and meant that it isn't a surprise that what I flashed last week isn't newer. It was a relief to see that they were the same though, heh.

HTC Mozart Problem

Hello I had bad experience in flashing random ROMs so now I need your help. Months ago I wanted official ROM and flashed without nowing what and brick my phone, motherboard changed so ...
Now I used the software called seveneighter that update to 7.8 using cabs, but I stuck on as you see 8783 in my About version, now when I try to update using zune it shows error 80180048 that's why I need the stock official ROM for my phone and start the updates all over again, please give me which is the right ROM for my phone I want to stock official. If you can tell me how to resolve this error I will be grateful too if I am able then to install 7.8 using zune, I have developer account so I can install xaps if that is needed.
