i have Desire HD WiFi unable to Scan issue.
Software Info:-
Android Ver:- 2.3.3
baseband :- 12.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2
Software Number:-2.50.405.2
to be true im not reaky good with HTC's software issues. please could anyone advise what could be the issue is it radio rom problem ?
I checkd hardware its fine.
please help...

Has your Wifi worked before?
Have you changed your rom or radio?
Did you reboot?
when
it happened to me a month ago, it was the result of me dropping my phone sadly.
It required me to get a replacement.
The WIFI and volume rocker packed up which was a huge nuisance
thanks friends, yes phone was droped , but after repair it was working for some days the its stiped, reflow the motherboard and now its working but still not perfect. thanks for helping ..

Hi everyone, i've been having problems with my GPS on my HTC Desire a8181 here and I just don't dont understand why.
The phone I had before (HTC Touch Diamond 2) had GPS as well and although it wasnt as powerful a phone as this baby, it actually got the job done for me.
My phone is rooted and "S-OFF"ed.
I bought this phone and since the day i got it i couldn't get GPS to work... ever!
I am using the LeeDroid 2.3d rom
I have tried all of the roms and just can't get it to work.
I even changed the gps.conf file to the asia pool as I am located in Bangladesh.
I get 0 views and 0 locks on GPS test
I would really appreciate any type of help as I have done everything i could to get it done, and paid a lot of money to get this phone!

You could try and update your radio to 5.14.05.17. If that has no effect then your GPS hardware maybe faulty. Also, the Diamond 2 was Windows Mobile I think. At least the Diamond was so it might be different being on Android.

i have rooted HTC Desire with this Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1054435
I have a problem: When my friends call me 10 times my phone rings only 2 times.
Even i have signal every 8 from 10 times the Mailbox talking. I contact my Network and they change my sim card. Also check all other settings but all is ok. They said me it is maybe from my Desire. Can be that this happend to me because i have this custom room?

this ROM have the two seconds delay in the call (but not in all the desires) i dont have this problem and i think that Neo put a little patch for the delay. (thats what he explained in a)nother forum) thats not a problem whit the radio i think thats is a problem whit the kernel whit no easy solution (because this ROM have this problem since 2.0.5 more or less)

I tryed
- cold boot
- Reflashing radio
- Reflash rom
Strange for the problem to persist after reflashing. Did you try redownloading the ROM as well? If reflashing that ROM doesn't help, try a ROM by a different developer.

Hello. I have read all the time the forums on xda, but I wasn't able to solve my problem so I decided to become a member. I have a serious problem with my HDH, with my WiFi. I had on it RcMix 3d v1.0 and when I turnned it on it said error. Now I flashed on my HDH Android Revolution HD, I turned radio s-off and eng s-off with visionary but still error. What could be te problem? Should be from the WiFi problem in the telephone and not in the software? Thank you anticipated

umm ok, a little more info would be helpful.
do you have no wifi or no signal or no mobile data? or all 3?
and what radio did you flash?

Try searching your network manually... or try as turn on AIRPLANE mode and turn off Airplane mode.. now u may get network worked..

hello to all, recently update my htc 10 to the latest version of android, the update was notified by the same htc and I decided to do it, then when I finish everything I saw that the gyroscope, proximity sensor and motion launch do not work. I do not know what to do. Restart the phone several times and the failure persists.
Is there a way to make the downgrade to the nougat version ?, Has someone else had something similar?

Downgrade is not possible.
1 - you need S-OFF
2 - if you downgrade you will lose cell service you can't make any phone calls with the device.....at all!
