I just did flashed my 1st custom ROM for Epic and that ROM was stripped down of Stock Sprint applications. Can anyone point me to where I can find the stock epic apps. I've searched but since I am typing "applications, apps, apk", there are a lot of search hits and not what I am looking for. Thanks

This is partially false. If it's not optimized for srf 1.2 it could break Rom fixes and cause force closes. Mystery explicitly says not to use any other themes than ones ready for it. Please stop spreading bad info. You can tell the ones that should run it well by the fact that they have 6 lockscreens and show an update since the release of 1.2.

My bad I didn't read the srf thread since I'm on i3 gingerbread I didn't realized that srf was so picky on themes right now. my apologies go with a srf theme then like mystery ones he's really good at them.

hmm... they dont "need" to have it baked in...you just lose it if you flash one without... i flashed honeycomb fusion 2.01 and it doesnt have the lockmod baked in and it works great, just now i dont have my puzzle lock screen...

Actually your one of the few people that got lucky.
I'm telling you right now that it will break things. this was tested during the beta phase and there was complacations when using themes with out the 6 lockscreen mod. There is also reports of this in my thread for 1.2

Yes, that was the story I heard.
Did Team Viper ever put out a ViperRom release based on the official Froyo? I remember them being built on Eclair.

Was EB13 official, or was that a Froyo leak? I didn't root until right after Froyo was officially released. I bought my Epic in Mar '11 with Eclair and took the OTA.

Yeah EB13 was official from Samsung and was posted on their website with an update tool like Odin because they didn't want to wait on Sprint to OTA it.
And TPhillips said he was gonna make one last ROM for us. Likely when we get OTA GB.

The People's ROM is an FC09 GB TW ROM that includes the TW launchers as one of the choices.

RemICS in dev forum gives such GS3 looks. But... it's heavily outdated

Though I respect kenny and TPR, it's not godlike and one cannot throw it at any question you meet... Real deal is to get CM9.1 stable from official site, search and get TouchWiz5 Launcher apk from the forum, and find a GS3 theme. Trust this.

I figured that'd be the difference. I thought about that route as I've already got the tw 5 launcher but I can never find a cm9 gs3 theme that satisfies me. I may give it a go tonight.

Well went to official cynogen website and accidently downloaded jb instead of ics. Now it won't boot into recovery and it force closes everything. I don't have a computer to use Odin
Guess ill be out of commision for a little while.
